The host speaks slowly and repeats the phrases so you can go syllable by syllable.

I like this podcast! It’s an easy learning tool along among many methods of learning a language. It’s nice to hear the pronunciations aloud, and there is a chance to repeat new words back.

I’m just learning Dutch and this podcast is wonderful! I appreciate hearing how words should be said and I like that they slow it down by syllable. The light-hearted humor is wonderful; I find myself giggling often as I listen. It’s also great that the podcasts aren’t too long as it’s easy to get burnt out quickly with long lessons in a new language.

Don’t waste your time with this podcast...it’s basically a commercial. No real things to learn...other than which podcasts NOT to listen to. This one is just trash. You’ll learn more Dutch from going to a German restaurant than you will by listening to this podcast.

They say the English slow enough but when they say the Dutch I can’t understand because they go so fast. I am fluent in Dutch but am trying to help my friend. I wish they would slow down the Dutch just a little and go through the syllables. Also this isn’t even Dutch. They are just throwing out random words.THIS IS TERRIBLE DONT LISTEN TO THEM

I loved the recent video about Dutch and German differences.

All of the podcasts from this company suffer from infomercial podcast syndrome. Many of the episodes contain no Dutch whatsoever (utterly wasting listeners' time) and serve as unlistenable advertisements. The quality of this particular shows is very low and the hosts are so bad as to be deemed unprofessional: I don't trust MY Dutch to this company that's not passionate about language and wants nothing other than to profit. In sum: Don't bother listening to any episodes about "secrets" and "learning strategies" etc: these are *pure garbage* advertising. Instead, focus on vocabulary builder and video episodes (which you'll find there are very few of). Clearly the rave reviews are fake, and so is the awkward "banter" in the show.

Dutch pod is worth every dollar. I would recommend to friends and family and to anybody reading this. I’ve learned Dutch from this very quickly just with this. I love it

I tried Rosetta Stone and this podcast is so much better. I will Dutch very soon and well with this podcast and my classes. DutchPod101 is top of the line stuff.
