More commercials and sales than content

I usually enjoy Tesla time News and really believe in the mission to fight climate change and a sustainable future. However that being said, I think politics is getting in the way of my enjoyment of this podcast. I think Elon has made a mistake getting involved in politics. Unfortunately the creators of this podcast seem to think he can do no wrong. All in a very well produced.

I used to listen to these guys every week and I even had a chance to meet them and was a big fans of theirs. Unfortunately, over the last year or so they have become Tesla and Elon apologist. There are a lot of other EV podcast out there that aren’t so skewed or blind to Tesla’s or Elon’s faults. The more I listen to them the more I felt like I was listening to a cult podcast. Sad to say it, but I’m unsubscribing.

Maybe I was late to catch on but they are just Elon sycophants. Used to enjoy the podcast for EV news but they have turned into the unofficial Tesla PR department, except in the rare occasion something affects them like rolling over their FSD. Now they are just part of the Elon/Telsa cult…. Elon - Genius, Tesla - does no wrong, all media and other EV companies - bad. Just have to roll your eyes frequently.

The good: they report on all Tesla and other EV companies’ news. Zach and Jesse are a father and son team, they are very funny and have a good relationship. The bad: the father son team has been adding more sponsorships, they are also pretty biased towards Tesla and Elon but the company is literally like 10 years ahead of all other EV companies. In short I love this show and listening to it, it’s very interesting and entertaining. 7.8/10

I have listened for too long. This podcast was a great place to listen to EV news. Over the last couple of years it’s become unbearable for me. Too much time spend fawning over Elon Musk. It feels like being indoctrinated into a cult. I’m out.

These Guys Are So Great! Excellent Show! Excellent Content!

Decent show until they spent way too long reading tweets. Twitter is part of the Tesla story I don’t want to hear. What a tremendous waste of time.

They had some sponsored content, in the past month or so, doubled or tripled it! So annoying! It’s just too many! And the content just stops in mid sentence to some recorded trash. Unsubscribed.

Zack and Jessie do the latest EV and battery energy news in an entertaining way. One of the best produced video blogs on the web.

Ok content but I dislike the background distractions they add in and all the advertisements in the episode summary.

This has become my favorite EV podcast. They do not have an agenda and report the news. Doesn’t mean they don’t have opinions. I do trust their opinions because they have no hidden agenda. I stopped listening to Electrek because they are constantly make snippy comments which leads me to believe they are pushing a narrative. Well done Jesse and Zac!

Love the podcast which is filled with information and bits of humor. The two host are amazing and manage to keep my interest throughout the show. Great work!

Now You Know is far and away the best YouTube/Podcast out there today! If you love the concept of making this earth a better place to live both now and in the future, then keep up with Zack and Jesse on the latest developments in sustainable transportation and power generation! Both super informative and funny, these guys put their heart into this production and it’s their goal to promote and move society into a more sane and productive, peaceful and safe environment. What’s to knock about that?

Listened to one of your shows about Tesla. You guys made a wonderful case for buying the stock but you did not at all explore the bearish argument. There is a legit bullish case for Tesla but you are not properly informing listeners of the risks. Amazon is not a proper comparison. Amazon has been cash flow positive for a long time. They plow their money into their company. They are not dependent on capital markets for their immediate survival. You can live without profits forever with positive cash flow but you cannot survive forever with negative cash flow. You guys failed the mention Elon and a few other executives have secured personal loans with their Tesla holdings. This means disaster if shares sell off too far and trigger a margin call. I could go on but who knows if you’re going to read this. Many listeners invest real money in Tesla and you owe it to them to give all sides of the argument. It’s just not responsible of you. You guys are in a group of people who believe Elon Musk no matter what. It’s dangerous.

Great works between father and son plus all the team for “now you know”, I wish to see the program became more than “fully charge” from the UK. Visiting places and making interviews with people applying new and renewables technologies. The trips are fine, but something is missing (better the format of the Norway guy which make videos of his Teslas S and X but make videos of others cars). I guess you still working in the format and looking forward for a niche... try to make the format better with better alternatives than just read news from paper or internet. Which is no bad but Teslanomics is better in that. The movie reviews are not good but nice try. The teaching for programs like Adobe, good try too. Congrats any way and take the critics in the best way possible.

They remind me a bit of Click & Clack (Tom & Ray Magliozzi) of Car Talk, also of Massachusetts. Weekly updates on EV news and more.
