As long as you stick to reviewing movies & TV, I’m in. Not interested in your personal opinions on politics, climate change, BLM, etc. That is why those opinions are personal & I don’t listen to the show to hear them.

It’s all good, informative, and entertaining until y’all start yelling over each other and one person tries to say the same thing four times before they can get a word in edge-wise...then it’s just annoying.

I've listened for several years and continue to enjoy this podcast. Graham and Chris are a little cyncical about films but I prefer that they continue to give honest reviews rather than talk glowingly of mediocre films. Some guests are better than others. A few are good enough that I wish they were in every episode. Graham and Chris seem to be good friends and their comradeship sets the podcast apart from straightforward film reviews available from other sources.

Listening to this podcast is like having a conversation with a best buddy after seeing film.

Gave this podcast longer than it deserved. Very critical of movies, but very rarely from an informed standpoint. Mostly just use their critiques as thin insults that are attempts at humor.

If you like listening to dude bros banter about things no one gets besides them for 13 minutes before the discussions over the topic of the episode actually begin (and being subjected to non stop giggling) then this show is for you!!!!

CFN is one of THE best pods ever created by man, they have great guests, great discussions, and a whole lot of fun! Highly suggest checking it out if you have yet to do so.

I used to somewhat enjoy this show, their a bit pretentius and high on themselves. Graham would at least make me laugh here and there. But I had to unsubscribe after Chris Mancini made a BS comment basically about how it's impossible for a woman to be both attractive and intelligent. Sorry, I don't put up with that kind of sexist, mysoginist thinking anymore. Bye

When making reference to films please use the correct and full name of the movie like Hidden Fortress not Fortress

Not a great podcast, to much time spent begging for people to join their patreon and send them money, also they give away spoilers of movies they review on the main show even though they have shows listed as spoiler episodes just for that reason.

Smart, funny, incisive, and other adjectives that aren't coming to me pre-coffee. These are the guys you want to go with to the movies!

I love the show and have been listening since the beginning. PLEASE stop talking politics. Saying, "ya know only white women got nominated and more Latin women need to be nominated" means NOTHING. The best actors need to be nominated. Period. Stop with the social justice warrior nonsense. Please. (...I'll come on and defend myself if you're just going to discount what I said without evidence.)

I'm embarrassed it took me so long to find this podcast. I love movies, TV, and all things nerdy, so I definitely should have heard this show before now! Graham and Chris are funny, knowledgable hosts and the production is high-quality all the way around. Keep up the good work!

I used to very much enjoy this podcast. Lately, the podcast has been mostly full of cynical rants. I unsubscribed and went to other comedy podcasts. They complain a lot, then ask for patron support. I do support many podcast, but if I’m gonna give them money, I need some enjoyment and cinema takeaway

A bunch of neck-beards that probably live in their parents' den...that complain about movies. Overtly pretentious, shallow and pedantic. Look elsewhere for better "comedy" film reviewers.

They may not be the smartest when it comes to films. They may not always be right either. But they are really funny. And usually, in the right light they look pretty good too.

The podcast is fairly by the numbers, here's their reviews and some alright quips. But if you are a movie fan and do more than an 5 minutes of research a day then you will soon realize these guys are very casual fans. And that's fine, and it would work better for me if A) I liked their jokes, which more than often don't hit for me. Or B) they got their facts right. Too often do I find myself audibly correcting them and finding that it impedes on their actual thoughts. Maybe they don't care and that's fine. Also I find their ads to be a slog to get through, where other podcasts have found a way to incorporate their ads more fluidly and humorously, their ads bring any humor that may have preceded and hard stall. Overall, I recommend checking out a couple episodes. It maybe your thing. And if it's not, that's fine too. Then listen to the Weekly Planet.

I've only been a recent subscriber to CFN. I powered through the available episodes on iTunes and immediatley purchased the app so I could listen from the beginning. Great show!

I've been listening for years and I've never heard an episode that I didn't like. Graham and Chris are excellent personalities to bounce off each other and they welcome guests with (usually) open arms in an uplifting way! Keep on going fellas!!

I was on the fence about this podcast but listened to it one more time and loved the fresh, practical, humorous critiques of films. Also, please let me know when your second podcast or reoccurring episode "I've Got Notes" starts up. I cannot wait! :)

Love this podcast! Chris and Graham always put on a great show. They have helped me add a considerable amount of titles to my watch list which is currently at 158 movies.

I listen to this podcast at work while repairing phones, really helps pass the time by faster while enjoying some interesting info and laughs. It's actually made me want to get more into movies in a more "mature" observant way rather than just for the laughs and action. Thanks for all the info and entertainment! Greatly recommend a try.

Graham and Chris are like C3PO and R2D2. Because there are two of them. One of them is sassy, I think? Anyway their documentary Earbuds is great.

I found this podcast last year looking for something to get me through the day. From the beginning Chris and Graham have been very funny and knowledgeable about the art and business of movie making. They contrast well with each other and the guests are always funny and insightful. The community on the CFN site and the hosts also make it feel like you as the listener and sometimes commenter are an important part of the day. It's been 4 years listening and this is the only show I still listen to each episode. Always being informed and entertained and always always waiting for that treasured nugget of Graham ranting about something. Please never stop!

Unsubscribe and one star from long time listener. Graham caught my attention on DLM but since Malton app died it's been lame. The ghostbusters femwashing and then bashing detractors as misogynist has caused me to cut many ties with Sony movies, Twitter, and anyone else who doesn't feel they need to speak at a 33 year old man anymore who is sick of listening to Katy perry female empowerment from divorced middle aged men with no cojones

Very enjoyable podcast despite the fact that one of the hosts keeps pronouncing it "thay-et-er" instead of "thee-ut-er" (theater) which hangs me up every time. Other than that, it's great. Even bought the book which is also a quick and super entertaining read.

I LOVE THIS PODCAST! I don't get to the movies as much as I used to pre-toddler so their recaps are gold to me. So funny, so smart, great perpectives.

I've been listening to Chris & Graham for years now and they have always provided honest, clever reviews with comedic gold slipped in. My go to for what's going on cinema.

Will have you laughing and kept abrest of which movies are worth your time. Thoughtful discussions of movies and a respect of differing opinions makes them a great listen.

Not a cinema podcast that's funny, but a comedy podcast about film. Graham and Chris are both filmmakers _and_ comedians, and comment thoughtfully on just about every genre of film. A little light on the sub-titled international films--at least any lacking Asian martial arts combat--but there are other podcasts out there covering those.

It's a second tier kind of movie show, better for comedy than reviews. The hosts get lots of facts wrong, so if that bothers you don't listen, but they I've grown to look past this for their funny personalities.

Makes me happy to hear this every week - even when I disagree. Keep up the great work guys!!

My week is not complete unless Comedy Film Nerds plays on my ipod every Wednesday morning. I cannot get enough Chris and Graham! From the hilarious banter to the insightful and entertaining viewpoints on various films of all genres, you will not be disappointed when you subscribe to CFN. My only complaint is that I wish I was able to have more Chris and Graham every week. But after listening to them for years, this podcast is perfect in so many ways. #workit #jgl :)

Two nobodies ,with zero film cred, crap on good movies, praise awful movies, and get it right maybe one out of twenty times. I gave it a chance and listened for several episodes before realizing these two guys have nothing interesting to say and are way off base most of the time. They are not funny in the least and act as if they're opinions are the only worthwhile opinions while dismissing everyone who disagrees as idiots.

One of the best podcasts out there? The only problem with this podcast? They keep talking me into movies - my Netflix queue is out of control. This is among my top 5 listens.

I'm loving this podcast! The most recent one with Laura House was hilarious! Went back and listened to some of the spoiler Eps, they're great. Worth listening to you like movies and like to laugh.

Even though I don't agree with every review, I still appreciate hearing what they have to say. Every review is honest as is the chemistry between Graham and Chris. They are fantastic at what they do. Chris and Graham are also very entertaining and funny gentlemen.

I'm tired of the giggling and cackling. It's amazing how they can trash a movie just from the imdb description. When graham said that he wouldn't support the batman/superman movie but he will sneak in to see it anyway I knew I couldn't listen much longer. Just got sick of them.

My favorite weekly podcast of them all. If you love movies, as I do, but live on a tight budget and want to spend your movie money wisely, this is the perfect podcast for you. Not only will you learn what NOT to see, but more importantly, what to see. Since I started listening, I’ve seen more great movies that would have never been on my radar if I hadn’t heard of it first on CFN. Sit back and enjoy the humorous banter between Graham & Chris, which unlike some others we know, continues even when they disagree about a film. Their total respect for one another is refreshing. (fyi: to learn the kitten hands inside joke, you must roll all the way back to episode 20, hysterical).

This is a REVIEW. It will tell you that the COMEDY FILM NERDS podcast is GLORIOUS. GRAHAM ELWOOD is as funny as COMEDIC PUNCHLINE. CHRIS MANCINI offers a brevity and grace rare found in a media host, nay, a human being. We, as a living organism, would be lot without his prose and pose. -sincerily- A REAL HUMAN PS - i look forward to this everday and wish i took the time to pay attention to which day it comes out. regardless, it makes for a wonderful time. if you don't listen, you support demons.

I've been listening to every new episode of CFN for three years now. It is one of my top five podcasts. I look forward to each new episodes.
