    Time for self reflection Nick
I was on a bit of an Ask Nick binge for a few days listening to people’s stories but had to stop. Nick’s inability to allow women to finish their thoughts is so gross. The condescension disguised as “tough love” is hard to listen to. When I listened to one where he let a guy ramble on and on for 5 straight minutes about their on and off relationship without interruption, the double standard was clear. Nick maybe look into why you innately don’t respect what women have to say. Unfollowing this one

    Tired of LI
Am I the only one who does not care for allll the love island interviews and recaps?? When they do manage to get some actual celebrities on the entire podcast has a very difficult time interviewing them, the questions are not very well thought out or significant, seems nick can only do a “good” interview when it’s someone he considers beneath him in some way

    That was rough
To those that have complex or surgical birth experiences and recoveries, no maternity leave, no family or village for support, work risky full time daily jobs, have PPD or PPA, have colicky babies, or in general have a need or want for extra support PP - those are all valid needs to hire help in whatever capacity you need. Postpartum is not a time to be alone or isolated, or ever judged for asking for help. This was a disappointing conversation and likely triggering for all the moms and dads who have ever had to ask for help.

    Mostly great
There’s one person in the “family” Mary who has the most terrible takes and gives me second hand embarrassment I have to skip forward because you can tell the rest of the family is also cringing LOL other than that great 😂
  • PodcastListener2024
Good but the fake voice Nick uses to read ads makes my skin crawl
Please speak normally, your ad reading voice is enough to stop listening.

    Dummies
Nick, I don’t mind that you have a differing opinion to HM on the Blake/Justin issue, and I don’t even know the whole story. My issue is that you tell HM to come with facts, but your “facts” against Justin are your feelings you got after meeting him. No real facts. Please don’t ever get on jury duty. This podcast is just a competition amongst everyone to see who can use the word “like” and “literally”the most. Also, can you turn down Natalie’s mic? I have to skip forward with her. She’s not funny. She’s obnoxious. She’s overly loud and dramatic. She acts like a high school girl. Why is this podcast so long? Do these people have brains? It’s so boring. Unfollow.

    Love the show!
I've been listening to the show for years and really enjoy the Ask Nick episodes. I highly recommend the show to others!

One of my go to Podcasts
I’ve been a fan of Viall Files since the beginning. The household is great and fit perfectly together. I really enjoyed the interview with Tyler and Tate and wish we got more couple from bachelor nation interviews. I love that you’re covering love Island again and it’s one of my favorite episodes to listen to when you post your reality recaps.

The way nick constantly stigmatizes and fear mongers around herpes is annoying and gross

Guests are on the upswing! Loving the 2022 refresh, moving away from the Tik Tok stars🙏😍 2025 update - sadly I don’t listen to the “Ask Nick” episodes anymore, they seem to be the subject Nick’s most passionate about but his perspective seems to have narrowed, and his privileged “protect men” mentality and judgement of child-free families is really hard to listen to.

Once a great podcast, but it’s meant for tweens
I used to love this show. It’s become truly brutal to listen to now. “LITERALLY,” is said by one obnoxious girls as a response to EVERYTHING. I cannot believe it’s the same show.

    Politics DO Matter
One of my favorite pods to keep up with all things pop culture but it’s frustrating to hear them stick to the no politics thing so concretely especially with everything going on in the world. Having a daughter and a wife that just went through pregnancy loss, you’d think some of these things would be on his radar. Also it’s just not FAR right proposing the household vote. Conservatives are proposing things left and right that will make it harder for women to vote. These guys need to get a reality check.

    Not everyone is a parent…
This entire show has become about Nick and Natalie‘s closed minded view that those of us without kids have less purpose. It becomes cringier with every listen.

    Past it’s prime
I used to love. Now I truly can’t listen to nicks parenting or relationship advice for one more second. He’s so sure he’s right about everything and bashes every other opinion without considering other possibilities… the misplaced confidence is astounding. And hard to listen to. Lol I’m out.

Tried multiple times to listen to episodes and cannot make it through. Nick’s takes and interviews are insufferable and who has 1.5-2 hours to listen to a pod ?! Not happy he’ll be hosting SLOMW reunion :(

Hmmmm. Now I’m more convinced than ever that you’re a liar. I was not “triggered” by your story. Your story DID NOT stir up any trauma for me-you’re still just a liar. I wanted to hear your side of the story but it’s just more lies. I hope James gets the opportunity to clear his name!

    Red hat maga lover
Sad to see this show is actually ran by maga loving red hat. Only talks about causes red hats are pushing and conversely says “ not to be policial”. You clearly have very clear and sick beliefs.
  • Blade1240
    Hard to listen to
Nick is ok but he mumbles a lot and his wife seems closed minded on all stances.
  • WavyBaby987
    Hysteria & Baiting
Nick seems to like to bait audience members he doesn’t agree with. How immature and spiteful of you, Nick. Let’s be more helpful and proactive rather than being mean and hurtful. He likes to whip up fear around acquiring herpes or STDs…most all are very controllable or resolve with medicine. Don’t demonize people who have STIs, you are adding to hysterical stigmas. Many people have had one in their lives.
  • Ladeedah8
    Yikes
It’s mixed for me. I think Nick is pompous, arrogant, and the twenty somethings are insufferable with their shrill overtalking and crispy r’s… but sometimes Nick is shockingly astute in his “ask Nick” episodes and interviews. Other times he’s extremely ego centered and misses the issue at hand by a city block. In addition, he needs to remember that “Natalie” (which he repeats ad nauseum) has three syllables. It’s not naaahleee as he always pronounces it— like he has a mouth full of Novocain. Also his “commercial voice” is soooo annoying. Why can’t he just speak normally? He has to go into that performative circus barker inflection, which is not only incredibly irritating but sounds like he’s mocking the brands he’s advertising... It’s super cringy.

    Grade school giggling is insufferable
I like the guests and I like Nick’s interviewing but the CONSTANT giggling and “period” “literally””it’s giving” is so immature from the rest of the cast - makes is inlistenable

    Politics
You lost me in taking the stance that politics don’t matter. You’re correct- that is a privelaged opinion.
  • vbb1112
    Blah
I like their guests sometimes but they’re very difficult to listen to as hosts. Nick seems to think he’s more important than he truly is- stop making every convo about you. And the ads!! Oh my gosh the ads are like nails on a chalkboard with the fast screaming tone. Thank goodness for the fast forward option.

    What a joke
This podcast has become increasingly difficult to listen to. Nick frequently centers conversations around himself, often circling back to his time on The Bachelor nearly a decade ago. His tone toward and about women is often condescending, which is especially apparent during his “Ask Nick” episodes. In one instance, he dismissed a caller’s concerns about her boyfriend’s conservative views on women’s suffrage, implying she only cared because it could affect her future marriage — as if caring about gender equality isn’t valid unless it directly impacts your relationship. He constantly presents his opinions as if they’re facts, but his logic is often flawed — especially when it comes to reality TV. He acts like an authority on Bravo shows despite only having started watching them in the past couple of years. He makes sweeping judgments without any real context or understanding of the long-standing dynamics that shape what’s currently happening. It’s frustrating to listen to someone speak with such certainty when they lack the background to support their takes. His intense dislike for Ciara from Summer House feels more like a personal vendetta than a reasoned critique. He also criticizes the cast based on viewer-created narratives — like accusing them of calling themselves “girls’ girls” when they never actually did. His cohosts have started to disagree with him more often, but any pushback is quickly shut down. Rather than engaging in a real conversation, he interrupts or talks over them to explain why they’re wrong, and eventually they just cave. It’s disappointing, because there’s potential for smarter, more nuanced discussions — but instead, it’s just Nick’s echo chamber. I would love to hear a reality recap episode without him and see how much better the conversations would be. Honestly, the podcast has become a platform for someone who comes off more like a wannabe therapist than a thoughtful host. And given how he handles the advice segments, I worry he’s doing more harm than good to the listeners who call in. At this point, it’s baffling the show is still going. Nick has become a joke.

Not being political is a privilege
Edit: praising 2 rich white ppl being pardoned for 30+mill in fraud is so tone deaf. White hetero cis gender male says we should be grateful for basic rights in America? Not being political is a privilege. Most of us are not proud to be a citizen of the only developed country without universal healthcare, parental leave, affordable childcare, and so on. Of course it’s better than Iran but that doesn’t mean we still don’t deserve so much more.

I will say Janet is very articulate. Hypocrite! She is a bad person still to me! You were great interviewing her

    Very enjoyable
I’ve been looking for a reality TV deep dive podcast, and had stayed away from this pod because I had a negative opinion of Nick Viall. I finally gave it a try and really enjoy it! I’ve gone back and binged various episodes. I think the hosts have solid takes on storylines, Nick holds guests accountable, and the vibes between the hosts seem authentic. I like his wife, and appreciate having people outside their marriage also involved with hosting so that you get various points of view.
  • Shutki101
    Dumb Host
Nick is literally getting dumber being surrounded by these idiots on his team. Some of it is very embarrassing for him. In the Tom and Victoria episode, he said he sees a very big difference in the Tom now compared to the Tom who was on the show previously. A complete 360. 360 degrees is a circle you idiot. It takes you from one point right back to where you started, forming a circle. The complete opposite would be 180. 180 degrees is on the opposite side of where you started. And for the last time, it’s pedeSTAL, not pediSTOOL. This podcast used to be one of my favorites but I just can’t listen to it anymore. Anytime I do, I feel like I’m losing brain cells. Honestly I feel dumber after hearing it these days so I just gave up.

    Favorite podcast!!
I’m a huge Bravo & reality tv fan & this show always provides the best interviews & they get allllll the best guests. I also personally love the banter & personal talk amongst Nick, Natalie & the rest of the “household”. This pod is a great listen, every time!
  • ksizzle26
    Time stamp the description
Not putting time stamps on your description makes it extremely difficult to skip to parts of the pod I actually care about. It feels as though you are forcing me to listen to the full episode (which I don’t want to do). Now, I don’t even bother to listen at all because it’s too much of a hassle.

    Rough
A bunch of very unintelligent people. Nick is a misogynist disguised as a feminist. I try to listen on occasion due to certain guests but listening to him and his wife ramble on about their kid (other peoples babies aren’t interesting to others) and his wife’s constant shrieking and screaming is rough. She seems so grossly materialistic. They also try to speak about things they are clueless about without even attempting to do a little research.

    “Literally, like, it’s giving…immature”
The guests of late have been great especially since I love SLOMW and Summer House. But, please stop saying LITERALLY and LIKE and Nick please stop saying IT’S GIVING all the time. Soooooooo aggravating. Also, it is rude to have crying babies in first class. I would be annoyed, too.
  • **RIP OFF!@&$!
    Love this but
Nick, I can’t believe you said you don’t tip your bellhop because you don’t carry cash. Well a lot of people don’t carry cash but when you travel you SHOULD have cash so you’re able to pay the service workers. So does that mean you also don’t leave a tip for the housekeeper or valet driver, etc. So tacky!!! Please don’t do that anymore. Carry cash so you can tip! Don’t be a cheapskate.
  • cristy the first
    Too much personal talk
If you can get through the hour of personal updates, they get great interviews and have good perspective on the shoes they actually watch. But I have to fast forward about an hour to get there. Nick would do better with different co hosts. His dynamic with Natalie and then the giggly side kick is a bit much

    Nick hates women
Nick hates women. It’s obvious and especially the way he treats his wife.

    I CANNOT HEAR NICK
NICK MUMBLES AND TALKS TOO QUIET AND IT DRIVES ME INSANE

    Eh it’s ok
Kinda annoying the advertising for certain episodes of a special guest, then put it at the very end. Most of the time I just skip to the very end for the guest but for an hour long podcast wished it was mostly on the special guest not other stuff. Time stamps would be very helpful.

All the Blake & Baldoni of it!!
Would love to write a review of the deep dive your doing on B&B drama.. oh wait your not doing one… yet! Playing is safe? Blake and Ryan are running a muck and you say zip, nothing, notta. Come on Nick, I’m waiting on you saying you were wrong and you miss judged Justin Baldoni. You (and your wife and staff) ripped him apart for being a sensitive man. You can’t find anything bad about him. However, B&B on the other hand are complete entitled, rude, mean people who are WASTING the courts time! I pray they have to pay millions to Baldoni!
  • Youappear
    Out of touch fame seekers
I suppose every decade has those trashy gossip people who just love to drop names and talk about where they go. Folks like this grasp at celebrity like hungry, grubby rats. Nick and his little wifey are definitely in this category.
  • bellabee311
    Nasty
Unfortunately, the pod is nothing more than trashing people anymore. No matter who the target is, it’s terrible. This man (and his wife) literally get off on being hateful people! I get there are people in the world not many people like, but he spends hours tearing people down, calling people bad parents and excusing cheating bc he doesn’t like someone. It’s gross
  • Karli 12
    Eh
This podcast would be a lot better if you didn’t have to wait 50 minutes to an hour for the guests to actually be brought on the podcast. I feel like the guests being brought on and the conversations that take an hour before hand should not be on the same podcast episode. It’s annoying having to try to find when the guests actually come on to hear the part you actually want to hear. Nobody is going to actually listen for an hour to get to the last 20 minutes to hear the guests.
  • Montana Julie
    Guests too early
It’s frustrating that he always gets guests BEFORE their show has aired and often before they’ve even seen it. So there’s so much they can’t talk about- and half of why I listen is to hear how they are reacting to the public response. Makes it a lot less interesting imo.
  • Bublina2020
    Don’t turn commercial
One of my go to podcasts on consistent basis. Enjoy updates from some of the shows, even pay for +. PLEASE DO NOT ADD COMMERCIALS ANY MORE FREQUENTLY THAN YOU DO ALREADY. When there are commercials every 10-15 minutes shows become unlistenable. Many iHeart shows and Bach Nation shows are like that and it’s not worth it. Left those shows long time ago. Not coming to obliterated by commercials. I get that you have to make a living but when it’s that frequent - the show just becomes garbage.
  • RecentListener
    Needs time stamps
Lots of good convos each episode but would love to have time stamps so I can skip stuff.
  • TheyHaveNoNicknames
    Negative
The only thing this podcast provides to anyone’s lives is negativity. The hosts only have on controversial guests-who most of the time do not deserve a platform- and commend them on spreading hatred and negativity. It’s not pop culture-it’s hatred. The only reason this podcast has survived is because it has guests who cause controversy. I don’t understand why we are still giving the hosts a space to spread hate….
  • BriiBriXo
    Rambling but has good parts
The guest lineup always sounds so exciting, but it’s disappointing when they only appear in the last 15 minutes of a two-hour episode. I find myself skipping through large portions because the content leading up to the main guest often feels like filler. I wish the show would get to the point sooner and make better use of the featured guests.
