    Rebecca Is Amazing!
I must say, out of all of the Narcissist Podcasts I’ve listened to, Rebecca Zung is the most informative, easy to understand & gets to the point to where you don’t feel like the crazy one. After listening to Rebecca, she is the ONLY Podcaster I listen to now. I honestly wish I could tuck her in my pocket, and when I need help dealing with my Narc, or finding the right words as a come back to him, she’d be right there sharing her wisdom with me. Please don’t stop sharing your incredible knowledge Rebecca, you’ve opened my eyes to so much. Thank you.

    Thank you
Thank you - validating, informative, much needed. You echo the behavior of staff at my workplace so descriptively. Your podcast is very helpful. Every episode is validating, informative and healing. I’ve learned a lot and listen to all episodes. THANK YOU!

    Covert narcissist episode
I think it’s important to make some distinctions — I have adhd, and have dealt with a covert narcissist at the workplace. I feel like some of the generalizations made— need to be recognized as commorbid with other disorders. as a freelancer who had a toxic client, I would miss deadlines and had reasons for it, I was being overworked. I also have RSD, and need a lot of helpful feedback and kindness (doesn’t mean I’m a narcissist, I’ve actually been criticized a lot and “praise” from others makes me feel valued and is super helpful for me because It gives me dopamine etc) I also have a really wild family situation, and would have to switch things around a lot as well. My clients schedule controlled my life and my boundaries were never honored— so I was burning the candlestick at both ends and would constantly be behind and my client would deflect. I just think there needs to be a couple of important distinctions so that people don’t leave the podcast unaware of context or situational aspects. PTSD & ADHD have similarities with some of the blanket statements made and I think that’s crucial to note. I also think it’s important to note that codependent individuals might share some of these characteristics as well! Unless the podcast hosts are truly educated on these disorders and licensed psych professionals, I think these distinctions are important to make.

    You’re a God send ♥️
I first heard about Rebecca when she was interviewed by Ed Mylett. Then I went and searched her and started listening to these podcasts. I can’t thank Rebecca enough for all the content you put out and how much it’s impacted my life for the better. 10/10 recommend giving her podcasts a listen. Rebecca you’re the best! ♥️

    Too much repetition
Far too much repetitive information in each episode. There are also many weird, distracting, and jarring edits in the audio.

    Please respect our time.
Host uses a whole lot of words to say very little.

Solid useful information and with HEART.
Rebecca has been there and with this podcast gives us so much strategic and effective , yet simple and doable information and tools without all the flowery language. She is REAL, and down to earth, yet truly EXPERT at her craft. Thanks Rebecca for sharing your GIFT with the world. ❤️Brooke and Thomas

    Agree
Trying to retain all of this information is hard. Ruby Smoke. I agree.

Great message but says “You know” way too much
Great message but after listening for awhile, I’m increasingly feeling more frustrated than informed because of her overuse of “you know” (which makes her sound unprepared) and the poor sound quality. I love her book and WANT to love the podcast but it’s time to unfollow.
  • ruby smoke
    You know
Love your message and guests. However those 2 words “you know” Are overused and I mean 50 times or more by you and your guests in one podcast. Hope I am not coming off as a narcissist as a narcissist once told me. That relationship is the reason I was attracted to your podcast

    Genius
Rebecca is such a pleasure and I have learned so much from her through her podcast, YouTube channel, and personal conversations. Keep changing the world and educating others, love your momentum!

    Um…
I was really enjoying the podcast but you say UM… entirely too much and it’s distracting so please work on that because you have good information to share.
  • Mbullynapa94559
    Poor language and lip smacking
It was the lip smacking, plethora of “ums”, “ya know”, “what I mean”, “like” that killed it for me.Whatever the Contant may be, I am unable to extract it from her language. The first five minutes is redundant.

The ‘you knows’ and ‘ummms’ are tough
I genuinely think there is good information in this podcast which is why I have given it so many listens. However the sheer amount of ‘you know’s and ‘ummm’s make it almost impossible to tolerate and I’m going to have to unsubscribe. Those of us who have to deal with narcissists have certainly been though enough, a professionally recorded and dictated podcast I think is not too much to ask! If I were to speak to Rebecca directly I would sincerely ask her to practice a time or two through before recording to avoid this pitfall. It is clear she knows what she is talking about as the actual information she provides is sound, but these turns of phrase make it sound like she is unsure and not very confident in what she is teaching. It takes away from her teachings and makes it tough to absorb the information at all. Here’s hoping this is just due to some growing pains and she will work it out to provide the masses with her expertise in a more listener friendly way.
  • AttorneyMomo
    So. Many. “Ummm”s!!!
I wanted to like your podcast, but I have to turn it off now because I have never heard anyone, especially a podcaster, say “ummm” so many times in my life! It’s insanity-inducing. Please work on that so that we can stand to listen to your insightful content!
  • gramaree
    Ummmm, ahhh’s, you know, like
Good information but lots of umm’s, ahhh’s, and you know’s. Too distracting for me to want to listen.

    Drink water!!!!
Rebecca I love what you teach. I’ve been listening for over a year to your YouTube and Podcast. You helped me through my divorce journey with a narcissist. Youre the only one that “got me” and understood the evil I was facing. But PLEASE get you a drink of water sister! I had to throw my earpods out my ear with the constant dry mouth smack! You’re a beautiful and smart woman. But when we LISTEN to a podcast all we can take in is what comes out of your mouth. Love ya! You’re an inspiring strong woman. Keep up the good work.

    Negotiating my best life
Thank you for all this great information. My ex husband has alienated our daughter (9yo) against me. The information in your podcast and YouTube videos and book have helped me understand just how to negotiate with my ex. At this point I have not seen my daughter for almost seven months. We are now negotiating conjoint family therapy to repair the relationship between my daughter and I and I am compiling exhibits for court of lies and inconsistencies. iMazing is the software I purchased to turn all our texts into a 300+ page pdf and have compiled a spreadsheet noting each instance of his lies and inconsistencies and abuse. Wish me luck.

If you’re divorcing a narc, you MUST listen.
Rebecca is my Yoda. In my particular situation, it’s her expertise in negotiation during divorce litigation. She shares invaluable tips on how to deal with something I had NO idea how to approach before finding her podcast, and I think she must own a crystal ball because she describes my soon to be ex-husband to a T. The way she incorporates her knowledge of the law and narcissism is something I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. This is definitely one of my favorite podcasts out there!

    Editing needs work
Overall I really enjoy this podcast. This is a really informative podcast and I’ve enjoyed listening to her. I wish she would re-do episode 147 as the two people’s voices are overlapping.

    Life saving information
I wish I would have found this sooner. I’m on year 5 of a protracted custody dispute. $350k in legal fees, now self represented, second psychological forensic evaluation against my sociopathic narcissistic abusive ex husband (whose moving into wife #4) These stories are my life. CPS, AFC’s, 3 different judges. Constantly praying for my two children’s safety & that the system won’t ultimately fail us 🙏. Hopefully these tips will make some difference. Thank you for this. It feels like I’m no longer alone in this fight.

Mayor redundancies -> How many times can I listen to the same thing?
This is my first review ever. I felt the need to write it, since I hope it will help to improve this podcast. Right now this podcast seems to be mostly a vehicle of self promotion.

    So empowering!
Dealing with narcissists and difficult people can feel overwhelming. Listening to Rebecca and this podcast has completely changed my life. Listen to every single word she says.
  • BlueIronPrairie
    Promising and disappointing
The podcast has so much promise with her analysis describing a narcissist, but fails to give you reliable tools to negotiate, diffuse, and communicate. I have given the podcast so many chances but I have moved on out of frustration.
  • cckingusa
A must listen for anyone dealing with a narcissist/sociopath
Rebecca Zung is brilliant and relevant to so many of the issues that arise when dealing with a narcissistic ex. I have listened to every single one of her podcasts and have learned so much from her. She has completely changed my perspective on negotiating and has given me a new and much more effective language to use with my ex. The only episode that doesn’t fit with Rebecca’s usually empowering message was the interview of Emma Johnson. Rebecca did push back on some of her comments but I was incensed by a supposed feminist who sounded like she was actually anything but and most likely a narcissist herself. Thank you Rebecca for addressing an issue that needs so much more awareness than it currently receives and for educating women and teaching them how to break free from abuse and regain their independence, their freedom, and most importantly their minds.

    Smart, wonderful, extremely realistic podcast
I have worked over 10 years in law, due to a death and a stroke at 3 attorney insurance firm, I needed a new job and took a position in family and criminal law. It has been a HUGE change and I appreciate the insight that this podcast gives, especially a divorce lawyer talking about negotiation. That being said, I was hoping for more variety with this podcast. I would appreciate talking about applying negotiation to other areas of life than just legal/divorce, different tactics to use to negotiate, etc.

    Wow just wow
Thank you , I have been a victim of a covert narcissist for the past 18 years . I too struggle with the label of “victim” is a slippery slope . On the one hand is necessary to label your abuser as an abuser, and yourself as a victim in order to see with clarity the truth of your situation . The trick I have found is ounce you recognize the abusive for what it is , then its time to shed the victim label, And move forward full throttle. I cant believe it took me this long . No one ever told me , hey your husband may be a covert narcissist, but in reality , who would have known ? That is the nature of the beast , covert/ passive aggressive manipulation , is the name of the game. Anyways, here we are . I thank you, all the other wonderful souls out there, shining light , and helping make sense of an otherwise senseless situation ( for lack of a better word) . Thanks again, validation makes a world of difference. Wish me luck in my journey of healing and strenght . Much love and blessing . Mary Ann

Thank you for helping me in the toughest time in my life. You helped take the stigma away and help me get through an abusive relationship, get away and stay away. I’m not finding the strength to move forward in divorce. I’m so grateful to you both and so happy I found you.

    Authentic and Heartfelt
Wow! If only I had discovered this podcast sooner.... Susan & Rebecca are two incredibly courageous and genuine podcast hosts. After experiencing my own perceived struggle with “breaking free” post - toxic relationship(s), there was a period of isolation where I felt no one else could possibly identify with me. After listening to their podcast it became apparent to me that indeed I am not alone in my own process of “breaking free”! If you or someone you know is facing emotional challenges post divorce , or while going through divorce proceedings, this podcast is a must listen. Grateful for the exceptional content that is broadcasted here. I highly endorse this podcast. -Monika Hendrix
