Similar to "And that's why we drink" this podcast suffers from the same ailment. They talk more about their private lives and than they do the stories. I really want to like it, but it gets very annoying.

I liked how they explain the cases

I like the way you two flow so easily. Reminds me of me and my best friend and how we used to joke around. The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable was some of the jokes that were made in reference to the woman Ella Mae who was m-rdered by her husband Cooley (I cant recall the podcast #) and you two were making several jokes about her slipping on brooms. I don’t think that you did it with any ill intent just in poor taste. Aside from that I do enjoy this podcast. I see others complaining about how it sounds etc and in my humble opinion it sounds like what it is: two good friends talking about murders and other topics and using humor to take the edge off. I read one complaint saying apparently anyone can start a podcast these days. . . . . Ummm yeah that’s kinda how it works 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ones laugh is so annoying at times but good podcast otherwise

I want to like, but the way the one host ends every few sentences like she's asking a question drives me INSANE. Literally got a stomach ache trying to push through it. I promise I'm only trying to be constructive.. but PLEASE listen to a recording of yourself so you can become aware of it!

I usually don’t like topics other than true crime. But it’s tolerable when these gals tell it.

This is one my favorite podcasts. The hosts’ humor is what makes this show; they don’t mock the victims, and don’t go overboard with witty remarks when it could be inappropriate. Yes, some of the episode stories I’ve heard before, but these girls tell it in their own unique ways, which is what makes it so fun to listen to. I actually like listening to their bantering and some of the off-topic anecdotes. It makes the podcast all that more relatable for me. I hope these ladies continue with their podcast for a long time...especially since I always recommend it to so many people. Happy Hauntings 😉

Love your show! BUT you girls are wrong about the equestrian thing ... it’s not just the horse! Three day eventing is one of the hardest sports in the olympics! We don’t just sit there - I don’t have abs bc my horse does all the work! I’m offended!! Lol kidding but I’m serious! Do your research! Still love you guys lol

Title pretty much sums it up- the ladies are hilarious and tell stories quite well but the audio quality is so poor it literally gives me a headache. I hope they upgrade soon!

Had to skip past 15 min of the hosts arguing about which case they were supposed to be doing, and wedding planning details?? Once the case talk actually starts it gets interrupted every five seconds for pointless commentary about off topic subjects. What is this even about?

If you like 7th grade level humor and poorly researched topics, delivered up in a steamy masterclass of up-speak, this one’s for you.

This was bland. And their voices are annoying; seems like anyone could start a podcast these days.

I like this podcast. The ladies are hilarious and I like to listen when I’m washing dishes or playing a mind numbing video game. They swing fast and loose with the “facts” at times, but that doesn’t bother me. I don’t listen to “educate” myself, I listen to entertain myself.

I love how funny these chicks are and the topics they cover. Even when it's something I've heard before I'm always entertained. They play this fun game at the start of every single episode where they can't remember who's turn it is to talk first. Literally since day one. Love it

This is a pretty amazing show, and you guys have excellent rapport. The absolute only thing I can think of to improve would be the sound quality. I think that’s the only reason you guys aren’t any bigger than you are. I am going to email you guys some information regarding cheap or even free tools to use to improve that and hope you guys blow up the way you deserve.

Stopped listening and supporting after the comments about police officers in “Listener Stories #4”. The hosts sound extremely ignorant and uneducated when speaking about police officers. Also, the hosts are never adequately prepared to discuss their topics in any episode. Even in “Listener Stories #4”, they were not even prepared to discuss the video sent to them. They didn’t even know specifically what happened in the video and had to rewatch while discussing. Disappointing.

I want to love this podcast. I have stuck around and tried to listen to many episodes, but it seems like each time, either host will say something racist, disparage mentally ill people, shame sex workers, or just generally act ill-informed about the world’s issues. I’ve listened to so many episodes, old and new, hoping that these were one off comments or that they would become more informed and apologize for expounding these misogynist/ableist/racist opinions. So far, no dice. I think I just have to give up and unsubscribe. So bummed 😔

I’m currently binging this podcast! I love all things true crime and paranormal so this podcast is perfect. Austyn and Repy are awesome, keep up the good work girls!

I was looking forward to this podcast but the more I listened more I hated it. The content is nothing new or exciting-look up any true crime podcast and you’ll find the same subject matter presented far better. The hosts seem to think that they’re very funny and interesting but they are really anything but... I wouldn’t recommend this at all. The hosts are super uninteresting and should just talk to each other on the phone and save the rest of us from having to pretend to be interested. If I could give less than one star I would.

Transylvania’s part of Scandinavia?!? The answer is just a Google away. The inappropriate giggling & comments during tragic readings are rife throughout the episodes. I have to remind myself that this IS your podcast. I’m hoping you will put your big girl pants on & concern yourselves with quality of content. Good luck!

This show is two friends sharing interesting true crime stories/cryptids/general creepiness. I think they really try to share less-covered stories, which I really appreciate as a person who listens to several true crime podcasts. Keep it up, ladies!

This podcast is nothing more than two uneducated little girls talking to hear themselves talk.

There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FUNNY about the Thomas Husky ‘Zoo Man Murders’ that occurred in Knoxville during the early 1990’s. You girls giggled throughout that whole segment just like you were reading from a comic book. Anyone who gets pleasure or likes listening to two giggling twits should find no issue with your ‘podcast’ but those who were in and around Knoxville when both of these cases occurred will be disgusted!

I wanted to like this podcast, but after listening for over 8 months, the content has gone downhill. The hosts are tactless and rarely research the stories well enough to fill the time slot. Honestly, I’m surprised they were picked up by a network.

I’m truly loving this podcast! Austyn and Repy have a great rapport, and I love that they cover a little bit of everything. Whether you’re into the paranormal, aliens, cryptids, or true crime, they’ve got ya covered! With a heavy dose of humor, of course. 😉

Hell and High Horror is a wonderful podcast if you want to balance your horror with a side of comedy and a touch of personalities between Austyn and Repy (and sometimes Rae). The episodes are the perfect length to get all those gore-filled details and the two are honest when it comes to debating the morals of serial killers and trying to show both sides of the story. I absolutely love the personality and the off-topic but still good rants about our society today. This podcast is a great one and I can’t wait to hear more!

So I have been listening to this podcast for a while and never get around to reviewing anything I listen to but this one is definitely worth the positive review. I love listening to this podcast not only because of the content but also because I like the manner in which it is presented. Yes, the narrators can take a slight detour from topic from time to time, but I enjoy listening because they are two cool, relatable girls. I am always excited when a new episode is released. Definitely worth a listen!

Found this through a sub group for My Favorite Murder and fell in love instantly. Love the hosts and how they interact with each other. They're funny but know when to take things seriously and they discuss topics I'm fascinated with and don't know a lot about yet. It's made me laugh out loud several times already and that doesn't usually happen. Can't wait for more episodes!!

I really liked the podcast up until episode 5 or 6 when you bring your political opinions into the majority of the podcast. You don't like guns? GREAT! Don't go into a half hour rant about it during the podcast about horror please? It's a big turn off to hear biased opinions during a horror story podcast.
