    Delightful
I listened to 1-2 chapters at a time on my commute to and from work. It's a wonderful story. Arielle Lipshaw was a perfect Anne!! I also thought the readers for Marilla, Matthew, and Rachel were terrific. The reader for Diana wasn't the best choice - she sounds like a much older woman, rather than a young girl. The reading voices and recordings of some of the other supporting characters weren't the best. But, none were so bad that I wasn't able to listen to the story. I'm going to listen to Anne of Avonlea next.

    Great dramatic reading of Anne
I love this dramatic reading of Anne of Green Gables. I feel like I know the main characters personally. The book is just hilarious, in my opinion, and the readers handle the funny lines as well as they handle the poignant moments.

    Excellent recording . . .
This is an excellent rendition of Anne of Green Gables. Some readers are better than others but overall very listenable and enjoyable. Thanks librivox!
