Mike24737A comfy spot for the uneducatedEasily susceptible, gullible people listen to this to boost their ignorance is bliss subconsciously. Haha this is garbage.

SUCKONDEEZNUTZRacistThis is the most racist podcasts have ever come across.

JanBri12Show me the moneyI listened trying to understand the progressive view and it still doesn't make any logical sense. Almost everything he says we need to do costs money to those who work and gives it to those he won't work. Then he says lets tax the rich even more as though the only rich people are all right wing lunatics. Last I checked Al Gore has become worth a couple hundred million in the green energy industry that has proven time and time again to not be profitable. What's even worse than that is most of those millions have come our hard earned tax money... My final thought is when has socialism/communism ever worked?

jrzockNo citationThis is an incredible podcast. There was an assertion made during the podcast about something racist that Ron Paul said. The host of the show made no mention of a date time context publication or anything where this data was pulled from. It is incredible listening to various sides of an argument disparage one another. If you find yourself listening to someone in their bashing someone else but they can never come up with any examples, facts, figures, or any evidence supporting their position you should probably rethink the support you have for such people. Illegal immigration is not the same as black people drinking from separate water fountains or entering through the rear of a restaurant, or sitting at the back of the bus. Black people at the time were black and persecuted for bong black now we are trying to prosecute illegal immigrants for being illegal immigrants not being Mexican.

LouisKrugerJack Clark for PresidentI'm not kidding - I've listened to Jack for years now and he should run for office. Out of hundreds of podcasts I've downloaded, Blast the RIght is #1. Best show anywhere on the web. Jack - keep up the great work, you make my life have some meaning and hope.

LibssuckCrapJust more brain dead left wing garbage

jcbrock1Facts and Logic???No logic here. Blind accusations and ignorance of what is really going on in the world. Some of the conservatives being attacked aren't really conservative. For example, George W.
-
nichtfurdichRacist my footWhy is it that whenever I disagree with something Obama does, it makes me a racist? I disagree with him not because he's black, but because he's wrong. You wanna see racism? 96 percent of the black population voted for him just because he's black. Meh, what do I care? Go on and exercise your right to free speech. But don't try to take away mine.

guylamaupassantJack,Jack,Jack, when are you comming back?I enjoyed Jack Clark's presentation and analysis. However, Jack must have had a special need concerning G.W.Bush's administration.Jack Quite! I guess He dosen't know any politician worthy of his time. Thanks for helping us survive the Bush Jr. years..

HardRuthUninspiredI welcome critique of my hard right stances. These casts give me no reason to soften them. Hyperbole, innuendo, and cliches only.
-
Global Climate DestabilizationWe miss you, "Jack"We need someone to step in & take over this excellent podcast!

THT2010No Understanding Whatsoever of World EconomicsAfter listening to this podcaster lambaste Christians, I felt the need to bring some enlightenment to the conversation. It's very sad to me that this speaker would choose to attack Christians, but isn't that the vogue thing to do now in present society? Christians' backward, antiquated values such as supporting your family, espousing the virtues of traditional marriage, being financially conservative, actually paying off your bills, instead of taking bankruptcy, knowing how to spell deficits, these things just aren't popular with the LEFT. I spent some time in the North Africa while serving in the military and this speaker obviously has no clue what world poverty and suffering look like. But guess what I saw? Christian missionaries feeding the poor, digging wells, providing medicine even when their own country provided nothing. The last thing a leftist should do is flaunt their profound lack of scriptural knowledge to try to guilt someone into giving this corrupt administration more power to steal the taxpayer's money and redistribute it. Last point. I own a small business serving the public. Guess who makes the most money in my town? Government workers. Some of them are collecting THREE, count them, THREE retirement checks, called triple dipping. You lefties reform the government thieves and then we tea-partiers might show you some respect. NOT!

The VoyerguyLeft : RightSo let's create a podcast. I'll talk about what I (the podcast creator) want to, if there are other people out there who might share these ideas fine, tune in. If you believe the left is bringing it all down with shows slanted toward their shared opinions then go over and listen to shows airing opinions one might find on several other networks. Everyone can stay in their corner looking out at the other and pointing our fingers at one another, all the while propagating further division and making both sides of the media machine more and more wealthy. Last time I chequed, more often than not, power corrupts. Let's also take into account that there are 4 highly rated (watched) shows on cable and satellite t.v. Who's success has come,in part, from airing the entire segment from which small bits have been extracted and edited to further that specific broadcasters political stance . Time to remove our heads from betwixt our collective cheeks and evolve!!

Write, Rite, RightInsanely DelusionalI can't imagine what it must feel like to live with that many conspiracies and phobias all bottled in one. He should spend more time working on self improvement.
-
ejborgThumbs UpThis podcast is a beacon that rises above the Right Wing fog (or should I say "Fox"?) that passes for political, social, and religious debate in contemporary culture. Highly recommended!
-
BraelayLiberalIt's better then most other crap on here been awhile since he updated this podcast may be dead. Keep fighting the facists.

wigginbeanGREAT!Smart, clear, and nails it! Love the approach. Jack Clark has got my vote! Should be required listening for the entire nation.

philbert85Earnest and Entertaining PatriotI'll name a political agenda, you tell me which political party owns it: A: Push this country's wealth to the super-rich; B: Deny you're doing "A". Yes, I got that concept from a "Blast the Right" podcast, along with the phrase "Reverse Robin Hood economics." Jack Clark is one of the few media activists who is on board with these realities. He breaks down the Far Right's many deceptions with cool rational logic, yet takes a stance that is not passive and defeatist, but defiant and aggressive. Nonetheless he maintains an open invitation to right wingers to engage in reasoned discussion. This may be part of the reason Jack Clark's internet name is the "Rational Radical." As reviewer D'Angelo points out, Mr. Clark "notes ALL of his sources." Jack's style is very engaging and entertaining. He's calm and gracious, yet obviously earnest about the issues. His tone imparts challenge and he will cleverly taunt his point-of-view counterparts. Working and middle class folks who still manage to be hard core conservatives would just have to listen to Jack with an open mind to realize which side their bread is buttered on--and who is trying to give their meager pat of butter to someone wealthier. A certain political element would like to eliminate government which exists for the public good, and replace it with Good Willed private industry like Halliburton, Enron, and Bernie Madoff. This element would continue to unleash on us and the world a scenario of unbalanced, unregulated, greed-driven mayhem, while assuring working and middle class citizens how good it is for them, using stilted scare phrases like "job-killing taxes." Jack Clark exposes these and a myriad of schemes and scams, and the real shame is that his program is vastly underexposed. True patriots tell truth to Power. Thank iTunes for presenting this podcast series. Listen to every Blast Cast. A few more like this and we might begin to see a counterweight to Faux News and the Right Disinformation Kraftmaschine.

CM400Excellent food for thoughtI don't always agree with the statements made on this podcast, but it is definitely worth listening to because it makes you work harder to come up with logical rebuttals.
-
Citizen SaneWhere did it go?Sadly, this podcast seems to be over. Come back Jack. It was good while it lasted, but you need to start it up again. Obama is not as advertised. Democrats have turned into Republicans and Republicans have lost their minds! that's why we need more progressive podcasting. And by progressive, I don't mean podcasts that are in love with Obama!
-
Dan PeteDelusionalMr. Clark is delusional. He uses made up, or partial, truths to attempt to claim, what he calls "facts". It is a typical attempt to mis-convey by another liberal who suffers from the same twisted view of the truth that most of the liberals in the media are stricken by. Don't waist your money reading a twisting of reality when there are plenty of other fantastic fantasy books you can choose from.

Jak the Amazing AtheistPartisan, but brilliantI originally wrote this review giving this podcast 3 stars saying that while I liked the way Clark uses facts and figures to support every one of his arguments he was far too partisan for my taste. At that time I had listened to around fifteen shows. My criticisms were that Clark only goes after the low hanging fruit of right wing thinkers. He never focuses on the fact that while left wing ideology opposes many of the horrors he speaks of left wing politicians are corrupt just as right wingers are and commit the same attrocities. I've now listened to about fifty shows and all of these criticisms remain just as true as when I first wrote them. The reason this review has changed from three stars to five stars is how brilliantly Clark argues certain topics. Several shows have redefined my opinions on health care, and western exploitation of the third world as well as several other issues. Shows on subjects such as torture and economic equality in united states have upped my understanding and arsenal on issues I already agreed with him on. I must ignore clarks attributing all of these issues to the right wing(almost exclusively) but the knowledge I have gained from listening to this show in the form of facts and figures is invaluable. If you can suffer through the partisan nature of the show, and you damn well should, then get to downloading one of the best political podcasts on the internet.

Val of NYExcellent showThis is a good place to find a clear & logical perspective, backed up with truth and facts.
-
voceangeliGreat Show! A Must Listen!I've only listened to a few, but this show is great. We so often miss the details and facts of political discussion watching the mainstream news. This is a great response to the nonsense that the right wing puts out and the people who parrot their idiocy.
-
R_GtzOutstanding!Intelligent, sharp, incisive, thoughtful analysis. A treasure trove of knowledge and ideas. A must for the well informed. Keep up the great reporting.
-
mobocoFlippedThese podcasts convinced me that my former "dittohead" views were factually and morally wrong.
-

-
EricPrice1Great, wonkish and refrencedI love facts.
-
ManicHispanic311Outstanding!Anyone who says this is strictly opinion based and has no backing in fact has obviously never listened to the podcast. The podcast is very informative offering great facts to you can throw at your blind puppet conservative friends and family. While too many other shows get caught up in the emotion and pundentry this show mantains it's cool and hits you with fact after fact. Love the show! Good will prevail over evil it always does.
-
micktravisTruth vs TruthinessI'm no republican so I'm obviously predisposed to like this podcast. But even if I were a republican I'd find it impossible to refute his facts. They're all properly cited and sourced. This is what I don't understand about the negative reviews here - do these people just assume he's making this stuff up? When he plays several clips of people on Fox saying Obama tripled the deficit in his first year, and then explains how federal finances are calculated from October to October, so for the first 10 months of Obama's tenure he was working under Bush's last budget, do they not understand the imitations? Do they not see that EVERY president is saddled with the previous team's last budget, and that it was Bush who did the tripling? That's not an opinion, it's just a clearly explicated lie by Fox et al. How blind do you need to be in order not to appreciate the information in this podcast?
-
ConcernedAmerican740The Proof Is On The PuddingWhether or not you agree with Jack is not important! The fact that Jack names ALL of the sources (which is easily verifiable) for each show is!
-
Titanium3seriesRidiculousThe only thing that is nastier ,more factually incorrect and hypocritical than this idiot, is his supporters. You will love this podcast if you are part of the lazy, do nothing crowd. Get off your rears, do things correctly, and try make something of yourself. Stop living in a fairy tale world.
-
lcmorenoknowledge will save us all!!!The more we know, the more we can fight the backwards thinking people in america that would love us to go back to whites only signs in grocery stores etc. Love what you do and how you do it, keep on blasting the right! I know i will!
-
zomnificentExcellentBlast The Right is excellent. Jack Clark musters an arsenal of facts and uses them to construct devastating arguments that point out the hypocrisy, corruption, and irrational thinking of the right-wing. He delivers these arguments in a smug and condescending tone of voice that is very entertaining. Blast The Right one of the best progressive podcasts around.
-
EmmazonThis guy knows his history AND has gutsThe sincerity of Jack Clark's concern for the unvarnished truth cannot be questioned. Just discovered this podcast and can't listen to them fast enough.
-
ONiLXWell researched and opinionatedA lot of other shows don't provide facts behind their opinion. If you want a show that not only reflects progressive views and give you a foundation of facts quotes and sources in order to stand your ground against conservatives, this is for you. Not as fun as Best of the Left, but much more informative.
-
HaackerWell sourced...Unlike those shows on the right, this show sources his facts. Well done.
-
SBT2003Truth To StupidMr. Clark has a powerful way of speaking truth to stupid. He refutes common lies with incontrovertible fact and exposes the true motives of the right wing. His show should be required listening for all children in the country. Thank you Mr. Clark. Please let us know when you're planning on publishing a new episode. We're missing you.
-
ada's apple stuffAwesomeCarefully and with great detail debunks and derails all right wing talking points, and outs it for what it is, Propaganda.
-
DoreaderExcellentPart of the value of this show is being able to read the reviews which continue to show how many of the one star reviewers confuse their biased opinions with facts. As the saying goes everyone can have a different opinion but there is only one set of facts
-
real american believershould be ashamedif this was ment to be an exaggeration than well done. this is just filled with lies and untruthes. this is a example of how the media in america has gone to far left to an extreme liberalizim. 100% PURE GARBAGE!
