This is a very good take on the "tortured soul" vampire story with a truly new world magical angle.

Loved every second of this book! It got me through some really long days at work. The love story between Raine and Joshua was amazing. Awesome book and I def recommend it to anyone!

If you are a fan of fiction, and an avid reader then this book is for you. It's one of those that you don't want to put down, and when you do have to put it down you continue to think about the characters and plot until you can get back to it. This isn't your typical vampire book either. This story is of a love that transcends generations and a vampire that protects the daughter (and daughters' daughter from generation to generation) of the woman he loved when he was first "turned" years ago while attempting to help a slave escape her master. It has intrigue, drama, a man's demon and a woman's ability to love despite it. Now doesn't that make you want to delve further into the audio drama? There aren't a lot of sound effects just the steady voice of the author as she shares her work in a way that makes you feel as if you're right there in the room with the characters viewing it from the point of view of either Raine (the female descendant of the slave), or Joshua (the vampire). There are characters you'll love and those you're sure to hate. Truly the makings of a good book! I only warn you that if you can't stand the suspense wait until the book is completed before downloading it to listen because the anticipation is excruciating!

I love this. Love Love Love Love this. You are fantastic writer and story teller. Your narration is so vibrant. It's like I'm watching a movie. I'm now an addict for life.

This story is so unique and fabulous that I can't stop listening. The way you describe the setting is beautiful and I can easily visualize every going on. I hope that Raine and Joshua will be able to take their relationship to the next level I pray that romance will take charge of their story...also I wonder how Raine will get out of her complicated situation. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Not your typical vampire story - writer shows some good ability & even more potential.

I’m up to Episode 8 and this looks to be a great one people! Well written, marvelously narrated vampire tale, but far from off-the-shelf gratuitously violent stock material; a fresh and empathetic approach.
