Overall it is a pretty decent podcast and I enjoy anything to do with Black Sails so I like it fine. My two critiques are that the episodes aren’t very structured/organized so sometimes on episode discussions they end up not talking about some scenes /storylines from certain episodes which is disappointing. I also find that occasionally the hosts don’t appear to be very insightful and will “miss the point” about a lot of scenes/storylines/character arcs. The show is fun to listen to, but if you want a deep and insightful discussion about Black Sails this isn’t the podcast for you.

I was really enjoying the podcast. But you keep spoiling it by telling the true history of what really happens. I just want to hear a discussion about the show. I gave 5 stars because someone will appreciate that. As well they should.

So awesome that I can load the podcasst on my phone and listen to them on my commute to work. I'm going to subscribe to all my favorite AfterShow podcasts.

The regular personalities on this cast do a good enough job, and the occasional guests featured really do bring things up a notch, although those all-too-rare appearnaces are clearly a result of the relative clout of the Afterbuzz network being felt by the program's PR dept. That's the good news. The bad news is that this podcast seems to have some diffculty maintaining a tight schedule in connection with the airtime of the show. To consistently take more than a full TWO DAYS to put their cast up after the show itself has aired seems questionable in terms of efficiency, not to mention staying relevant to the show's fanbase. In this age of instant gratification as the popular answer to society's collective attention deficit syndrome, one would think that a podcast network based solely on the review of TV shows might have figured this thing out by now. Does Afterbuzz need to cover fewer TV shows, or do they simply need to hire more people? Either one might be a solution to this annoying time lag problem. I'm just sayin'...

Love the show, love the podcast. Keep at it and I will keep listening.

Good show, great podcast.

One of the best afterbuzz shows. Ryan Hooks owns it and is a great captain steering the show. I am always impressed with the big names of the show they get. Not some random "red shirt" but true big names and stars of the show, in person! I strongly recommend the season 2 preview episode, almost shocked by all three big star thats sat down and just casually chatted with Ryan. But that epsiode was done expertly! Keep up the great work!

I truly wish I had known about AfterBuzz when Black Sails first started. It would have been Great to experience the sepisodes and speculate on the outcome along with you guys. Regardless I went back and watched the 1st season all over again so I could follow along with the podcast. Can't wait for Season 2 Keep up the Great Work.

I have been waiting for as long as I can remember for a show to feature New Providence and Pirates the way this one does. This podcast, Captained by the great Pirate, Ryan Hooks, leads a great discussion recapping the show and giving historical reference where needed. Well done Mates!

Great cast... U know one thing I like best about Afterbuzz is that they talk positive about the show. When I watch an episode and I liked it I can always count on Afterbuzz to have the same reaction. It is hard to listen to a cast that is talking negative about a show I like. Thanks guys and gal keep up the good work.
