diageneticA bit too scriptedWas looking forward to checking out a national park podcast and was hoping I’d enjoy it. Unfortunately the whole podcast a bit boring and very scripted. While I did enjoy some of the content of the show, it just feels like I’m listening to the hosts read a Wikipedia article.

bikerchick78Seriously love this podcast! Binge worthy.I feel like Brad and Matt are friends that I’d love to run into on the trails. Their segments are interesting, informative, and entertaining, love the banter. Matt has even made me laugh out loud a few times. We are preparing to go on a national parks trip next summer so I’m listening now and can’t wait to have my kids and husband listen as the trip gets closer. Thanks for a great podcast, guys!

TeasandOne of the best! This is one of my favorite podcasts! Brad and Matt are wonderful to listen to, passionate about National Parks and each other. You can really feel the love! I smile so much when I listen to this and laugh along with them. It is incredibly refreshing and inspiring. I’ve learned so much about different parks and cannot wait to visit ALL of them now! I am sad this podcast is cancelled (I should have rated and reviewed sooner and have learned my lesson!) I am really looking forward to what’s to come from them though.

EverybodysNPSNational Park scoop, fun, humor and moreI love listening to Brad and Matt talk about their national park experiences about parks I’ve been to and places I want to visit. They share their stories and tips with fun avd humor. I especially enjoyed their recent episode on Biscayne and their heart-to-heart chat with National Park Patch Lady, Sandra Ramos. Best tip - ask the park ranger their favorite place in the park.

akave2388I love NP (and this Podcast)These two are amazing! Grateful we have people in the world that care about the parks and want to share their experiences with others. Love this podcast!

GibsonFamGAFun way to experience adventures during work weekReally enjoying Parklandia! Fun hosts mix history, logistical information and foodie tips to help you dream about a National Park adventure.

Hike50YellowstoneYou both are a hoot!!! I love hearing about your adventures, so charismatic😊
-
loudmotionA fun and useful podcast for parks-loversLove this podcast! I particularly love the trail recommendations and the local food/drink recommendations. I used their Mesa Verde episode to help map out some of my plans for my own trip in fall 2019 and I plan doing the same thing with the Olympic episode for an upcoming trip too. I think the episodes are sectioned nicely and has a good flow to it. Parklandia is overall a wonderful podcast and I love listening to Matt and Brad live out their adventure of a lifetime traveling to National Parks! Thanks for sharing it with us 😊
-
LightSun764Park info?I was disappointed that the favorite experiences shared about the first park were a murder mystery train ride and a KOA Kampground. I would love to hear more about the actual park, such as which trails were the most interesting, which waterfall was the most spectacular, etc. I’m hoping to get more park information in future episodes.

-
G h r tThe right vibe for National Parks learning!Enjoy this podcast. Very easy, educational, and fun. I learn more about the parks after listening thinking I already know it all when I visited that park. And then these two educate me more. Can’t wait for the others.
-
tonyarenLOVE this podcast and these twoAs a fellow national park lover/explorer, thanks so much for this podcast. You both are wonderful—as is your podcast. Thank you for sharing this with us.

ZoitThanks for representing LGBT NPS fans! Each episode is a gem! When I heard there was going to be a podcast about traveling in an RV to see national parks I immediately was interested. When I listened and found it was done by a gay couple I was over the moon excited! As a married gay man who loves to travel to national parks, I'm grateful to find such a relatable podcast. Thanks, Matt & Brad! My husband and I incorporate this podcast into our travel plans. We love the advice on trails as well as the local area outside the park. He even surprises me with Gold Peak iced tea, I take a sip and say "mmmm! The taste that brings you home!" Lol.. (it was a season 1 ad spot). Cheesy, I know.. 😜
-
Grgoyldef2Love these guys!!!Been listening to Parklandia for a couple of months and I love their shows. Great information about what to see and do in the National Parks and they are hilarious on top of it. Highly recommend if you are a Parks fanatic.
-
Desire TToo dramaticLove national parks, these two are just too dramatic. It rained on you on Cumberland island, move on. Also they are positive about every park, it is hard to believe that every park is perfect. I listened to season one but grew tired so I won’t keep going further into season two.
-
Candace SpaurVery fun!I love this podcast! Inside normal people visiting the NP!
-
tiffanyhuseFakeWish they could be GNP
-
ArtemioBaklavaLovin’ itReally enjoy that this is a podcast geared towards normal people who love national parks. So relatable! Not that there’s anything wrong with hyper-nerdy outdoor types, but I love that Brad and Matt are a regular couple sharing their love for the parks and exploring. I’ve already added some of these parks to my must-visit list now. Can’t wait for Season 2!
-
LuvsQuiltsLove this podcastI’m a big time National Park fan and find this podcast interesting. Love the insights to things and places around the parks also.

Krentist89Love this podcast!Really loving the content and the hosts so far. The info on the national parks is obviously great but I really love hearing Matt and Brad’s personal stories and tidbits as well. Keep it up guys!
-
SteviDunehewLoving this podcast!Hi guys, loving the pod! I love your stories, suggestions and dynamics. Your living a dream for sure! If I could make a suggestion, I’d love to know where these parks your talking about are located, some are more we’ll know but some I’m hearing about for the first time so it would be great to have an idea of where about the country I’m envisioning spending my dream vacation in these parks!
-
EKChicagoLove for National ParksBig fan of this podcast and of Matt and Brad. They each bring their own views on the experience, and it’s fun to see. I like that the content is a nice mix of history, background information, and tidbits on what to expect, see, and do. Being able to visualize the experience and get a sense of what the park is like will be very helpful in planning my future trips. Looking forward to more episodes.

Jbridges123Wish I couldI really, really wanted to love this podcast! I was so excited to dive in head first after reading the description. 10 mins and 10 sec in (and I started with the Hot Springs episode)and I literally can’t go on. It’s too scripted for my liking. It’s like listening to a high school boy who was asked to read to the class from his text book. Make some notes, have a discussion and tell us about all the parks you’ve visited and your experiences and You’ll have a 5 star Pod in no time!
-
sdtnohdtnoYes on ParklandiaLove this! Super easy listening and funny!
-
K2KevinGreat concept, great guysLove the concept, but you must loose the script. I can tell you both take a lot of time trying to produce high quality content. Don’t glance over what could be great content. A black tank issue where you threw away cloths?!?! That’s could have been some funny content, tell that story. Can’t wait for the next episode...
-
Adam B. RushGreat InformationLove all the detailed information; which provides a wealth of opportunities for my family on future trips. Side Note: I went to the petrified forest park when I was 7. I remember buying an “authentic” Indiana Jones Bull Whip in the gift shop. I played with that whip for years until it completely unraveled.
-
jupiter260Audio equivalent of looking at someone’s vacation photosI really wanted to like this podcast. I love National Parks and really admire their endeavor to visit parks and share their experiences with others. Unfortunately, I found the discussions really dull. I wish them many happy hikes, but listening to it was like watching vacation slides.
-
bluedesign6Seems fakeSo, I really want to love this podcast, and maybe I did for an episode or two. The premise is great, two guys, a foppish irreverent type teamed with a pickup artist type traverse the country in their rv and share the journey. Here’s the issue, there’s no sounds from the journey, such as wind through the trees or owls hooting. They’re reading from a script, or what sounds like sometimes the Wikipedia pages for the different parks, and there’s no chemistry between them. They’re supposed to be married with a dog and an rv, boldly living life on the road, but they sound like they’re just in a studio recording ad content for a beverage company. I believe they’ve been to some national parks before in their lives, but the narrative they’re stringing together seems like it was a challenge to try to create one pieced out is some precious experiences and strung together out of thin air. I’m wondering if it was based on a bet to see if they could convince people that they’d actually done this, while sitting in their loft still in Chicago. I believe Sarah Koenig actually went to that court house, I’d need to hear more to substantiate whether this is actually real.
-
Rjanderson77Love it!My favorite new podcast! My wife and I love traveling and we want to visit as many National Parks as we can. This podcast is very informative and gives us a lot of insight as to what we can expect. I also share a lot of the same interests as Matt, right down to the love of tuna salad. Thanks Matt and Brad!
-
H SalthouseSo close, so farI love national parks and nature, and I was really excited for this podcast. But, everything is so scripted. There is no natural back and forth between the two hosts, who I actually really like. Just wish it was more real.
-
Pgh_Runner412Word of mouth is the bestWord of mouth is how you find the best places at National Parks, as well as avoiding the things that aren’t worth your time. I really enjoy listening to Matt & Brad’s experiences at the NPs I want to go to, as well as the ones I’ve been.
-
PixiedustbuttInteresting, but mehLike everyone else, I love the concept of this podcast & hope that it continues to be polished. The lack of inflection in the host’s voices make it sound like they are either reading or not very jazzed about the subject matter. It would be great to get more of a picture of the parks and what they have to offer before diving into the details. The first episode was a little jarring topically just jumping right into the murder mystery train. It would be great to hear more about RV living and the challenges faced, since that’s kind of what’s advertised in the story telling for the trailer.
-
jcrochfordInformative! This is an excellent podcast. Each episode is entertaining and the information and advice provided is really helpful. Keep up the good work, guys!
-
Eclectic_ChickCome for the park info, stay for the funAs a major national park enthusiast, I soak up information from a variety of sources, but Parklandia has become one of my favorites! A casual conversation about awesome trips to our favorite locales, Matt & Brad tell great stories with tips and tricks about getting the best out of your National Park visit. Cheers, guys! Thanks for the great contribution to our favorite pastime!

LenaJones77LoveThis show has grown so much on me!! I love the hosts and how they balance each other out. :) Thank you for your fun, fresh and informative take on the outdoors that is inclusive and genuinely entertaining!
-
LenaissocalExcellent NPS guide for regular enthusiastsI love this podcast because this couple is so relatable. Many of us are passionate about travel and outdoor recreation, but we aren’t experts. We’re regular people with a regular budget and a tight amount of time to stuff with as much adventure as possible. This podcast is a helpful guide for regular people to find out what it’s like to experience these parks. It’s like a TLDR summary of a quick trip to each park. Definitely a fan.
-
CampingVTJillFunny, light, and informativeI’ve been looking for a full-timer travel podcast that I jive with for a while now and was happy to find Brad and Matt’s new pod about the National Parks. They are a joy to listen to and I feel like a get a good sense of each park - just the right amount of info and episode length. I am excited to hear how their adventure continues to unfold!
-
AmerigothejourneyParklandia RocksI am not a big podcast person - I am to easily distracted (look a squirrel) but I love this podcast. It has incredible content, filled with great lessons that can be applied to any camping trip and just life in general. And I love the banter - it makes me laugh. Great job guys!!!! Keep them coming.
