Best Bite Size Fantasy Baseball Pod
This is perfect format. I love it. When I don’t have time to do a full hour but still wasn’t to catch up with changes in the game I hit this up. Highly recommend to anyone in the same boat it has a short commute. I hope it comes back for 2022!!!

Good but too many ads and unhelpful info
This podcast is a good quick refresher of the previous nights action but the ads are becoming intolerable. They are now almost 25% of the total time on some episodes. Additionally, there is too much time wasted on topics that are frankly unhelpful like the gambling spotlight, prospect watch, etc. And the streaming spotlight should be done a day in advance so that those of us in daily leagues can add the person for the next day; mentioning the streamers on the same day only really helps sit/start but doesn't help anyone in terms of add/drop.

    Ads ads ads
Way too many/too long ads for such a short podcast. Legit first 2 minutes plus is the same ad every day for Topps cards
  • vekin1648
    Fantasy newspaper
Very thorough review of the previous day in fantasy baseball. Different hosts give perspectives on players and streamers. Only problem is that it drops after my waiver runs everyday now, when I’m the past it was earlier. Still a good listen though

    Daily morning routine
This is a quick way to stay up-to-date with actionable news and notes every weekday. Rather than a quick regurgitation of the headlines, they move quickly to the fantasy consequences. “What are you doing with player x” is the catch phrase here, and it’s much appreciated!
  • Lefties are Deceptive
    I listen every morning
Great info every morning. Wish it was 7 days a week.
  • More loading? Awesome!
    Lots of ads
Too many ads for a 15 minute podcast and a little boring compared to PitcherList, Fantasy Pros and CBS daily podcasts.

DVR is terrific. I’ll take as much DVR as he can handle.

DVR and al do this podcast right. Listen to it. Seriously you have heard these other baseball podcasts and they are mostly calliente Basura Why not listen to a baseball podcast that is not filled with wanna be internet celebs trying out there crappy stand up comedy ? Great job here guys with this podcast as well as the other ones you do. To the rest of the baseball internet podcasting world ...do better. pitter patter ....

    A must listen every day!
Concise and complete fantasy baseball podcast. Each day the most important news and events are covered with indepth perspective that allows fantasy baseball owners to make informed moves. Many of the popular daily podcasts can run an hour or more. Taking nothing away from the content of these podcasts, but there are days I don't have the time to devote more than a hour listening to a podcast. Even on my busiest days, it is no issue finding 15 minutes to get updated with this podcast. Solid analysis + 15 minutes in length = 5 star podcast!

    well done
Very good podcast with concise and timely information. I like it very well because I can listen to the whole thing in just 15 minutes so the timeframe is excellent to me. it is also valuable because it is uploaded first thing in the morning so I can get this summary of last nights games the broadcast is a good one!

    15? 15? Should be 20!!!!
Al is an awesome host. Co-host are really great too. 15 minutes is too short, but I listen almost every morning. 20 minutes would be better! DVR is one of my favorites too. Great analysis and interesting thoughts. Good mix of statistics and insight.
  • _osborne_
    Ads
17 minute show with 3.5 minutes of advertisements. The Athletic can get away with this many commercials on their longer shows but it’s ridiculous on such a short podcast.
  • TheOtherScott2012
If you only have time for 1 podcast. . .
This is it. I have 28 pods in my feed but I listen to this one first daily. Al is great and I love love love the team preview series- a great chance to hear about lesser known position battles and such from beat writers from all 30 teams

    5 Stars for Al
Been listening to Al and reading him since the CBS days. Fantasy in 15 is terrific. Once the season gets rolling, it’s the first thing I listen to every morning. Best daily pod out there.
  • Lloverá
    Short and sweet
Love the concept of quick headlines in baseball thanks guys
  • jbrandalus
    Everyday listening
I’m a fan of DVR and always liked Al Melchior. Michael B is also good on this show. Thanks for your work, guys!
  • Schmitt15
    Keep politics out of it
Should not state people’s views of right and wrong. No right telling anyone there wrong!
  • Swingin' Siena
Decent Content But Silly Political Posturing Bums Out Ride
This is one of many decent fantasy baseball podcasts, but when hosts decide to spend 1/3 of the short podcast posturing on a their little soapbox, I tune out. Nobody who listanens into a 15 minute podcast wants to hear hosts talk about race and politics. Plus, their opinions are shallow, predicable and the timing lacks sincerity.

    Need to know
    Best morning fantasy baseball fix.
  • adameisey
    In 20?
Useful and love Al but weird that a podcast literally named "in 15" with a giant 15 in it's logo meant for a quick update, goes on for 20 minutes with the ads now.

    Perfect for me
The hosts have impeccable credentials. The length makes it perfect for me. I try to support their work by subscribing to the Athletic.
  • robbbraun
    Love the 15 Minutes!
60+ minutes is just too much to take in. Al and team get right to it without the unnecessary banter and shtick. Would like to hear some draft strategy this week. Keep up the awesome job!!
  • Coydogs
    #winyourleague
Thanks Albert, Galileo, Isaac, and Leonardo, My league is 10x10 daily AL only. Runs,HR,RBI, SB, Avg, OBP, SLG, Hits, Doubles, Triples and wins, saves, holds, k’s, era, whip, IP, quality starts, K/9, total appearances. Yahoo redraft 55 total add/drop per season 9 hitters by position (3of and 1 util) 4 SP, 3 relievers, 2 pitchers, 4 bench, 2 Injured list 4 keepers cost the draft position at rank. I expect a lot of pitchers to be kept. Any thoughts on draft and keeper strategy for this type of set up with even fewer Aces available than usual? Any other strategy ideas welcomed. Thanks again. Great show. You make my commute less painful.
  • AlanUWS
    Love it

    Baseball over coffee
Al and DVR bring you the latest news in the baseball world in a neat 15 minute pod. Having my morning coffee while listening to them gets me ready for the day.
  • jtvazq
    Great and quick!
A great recap of daily news/ future predictions all in a short amount of time. Despite the short podcasts, they don’t feel rushed in any way. Keep it up!
  • Freehole23
    15 MINUTES!!!!
Theres great content out there these days. But sometimes seeing the 2hour 13 mins is very overwhelming! Who has that time, especially without notes on the pod! This is great guys! More quick hitters like this!!
  • Avid Fantasy Player
    Perfect for commute!
A quick 15 minute show that will give all the details you need five days a week. Will be a great place to gather all the news during the morning commute. Al is always worth a listen.
