Once the season got going these guys really found their stride. A good Astros podcast that does a good job of trying to look at the team without bias.

I just discovered you guys this morning. I love this podcast. It’s so nice to have a real local podcast about the Astros. I wish you could do one after every game.

Great podcast by journalists that clearly have a pulse on the team. Bonus points as they seem like knowledgeable Houstonians as well. My one critique is ad placement. I would imagine this is not completely their fault, and more of a suits problem. But they will be right in the middle of making a great point and it will just bust into an ad. I know they have to pay the bills, but it doesn’t need to ruin the flow of the podcast.

Let me begin by saying I thoroughly enjoy your podcast! As a long-standing but sadly also long distance fan, I am always looking for ways to stay connected to the team that has been my favorite for around 40 years. I know that this year has been different to say the least, but I wonder as we hope to experience more normalcy next year if there is any flexibility to the format. Would it be possible in season to more frequently post podcasts, even if they were shorter in length? When the team plays practically every day, I think maybe even if it was even three times a week instead of two it would allow for more timely reaction and analysis than the current format. In the offseason I would be think that twice a week would be sufficient at its current length as the news cycle is slower and topics can be discussed more in depth. Regardless, I enjoy the show no matter its format. Just thought I would offer my two cents for your consideration.

I really enjoy this podcast. Mike and Jake give it straight. Very insightful.

Completely unbiased and truthful analysis and conversation on the Stros. He dialogue is clean with no fluff and no bias seeping through. I must say I WISH every team had this caliber of podcast available. Keep it up!!

As a huge fan of Jake Kaplan’s coverage of the Astros for the Athletic, I was pumped when I heard he was starting a podcast with Meltser. So far, it has been great (as expected). Looking forward to listening all season.
