Good podcast I like the base but you spend a little too long on the audio and some of it is just like basketball shoes squeaking

I’ve never been one to listen to a sports podcast, or be interested in sports for that matter, and yet I was so invested in this podcast. It offers such an intimate and personal look into the lives of players— the humans behind the helmet; their families, their beginnings, their trials and tribulations as well as their victories. This podcast is beautifully crafted storytelling, completely compelling. I feel I am walking away with a newfound perspective. I recommend to anyone interested in the human experience!!

K-M Key is awesome as usual. I’m not usually a podcast person but this was the right mix of sports, humor, human interest...just well done.

I think sports stories condense broader human themes into focused stories, and this series does it really well. It’s in the vein of the great sports documentary stories such as Hoop Dreams. Strongly recommended!

As a mom whose kids have been playing competitive sports since they could walk and talk, I am loving these players stories and how hard they all worked and supported each other to get to this point in their sports careers. This is really inspirational and I can’t recommend highly enough. Sports families will hear themselves in this and totally relate!
