    Love it.
I really enjoy Sideways. Thoughtful stories told by an inquisitive host. Matthew has a perfect voice for radio. Also, by far the best theme song. A haunting and beautiful melody.

    Love this show
Been listening since the pandemic began. Has not ended for me and my vulnerable family. Still wearing a mask and wish others did too.

    Just brilliant *Update 2/8/2024*
Very anxious for new episodes. *update 2/8/24* The first season of this podcast truly was brilliant. But then afterwards, particularly after the show Matthew did on his ego, the well ran dry. The podcast started lacking in content during season 2 and the truly fascinating and unique topics that were once on offer were replaced with trite woke pablum and insultingly cornball stories preaching about generosity, prejudice and other kindergarten virtues. It's become so offensively judgmental that I'm removing my former 5 star review and reducing it to 2. And it would be 1 except that first season was truly very good.

    The lesson usually fails
Matthew Syde tells compelling stories (good so far) but then draws conclusions that are unconvincing, superficial, or obvious. Or all three. Example? If we can’t eliminate nuclear weapons it would be good to reduce their number. Doh!

    Eye opening, suspenseful
This is eye opening science, narrated like a True Crime podcast. Addictive and for almost all ages. EVERYONE should listen to The West and The Rest episode.

    Excellent and Thoughtful Podcast
Very good Podcast, with excellent content, clean lnguage, and thoughtful episodes. Most of the episodes are of an uplifting, and inspiring nature. All episodes belie a thoughtful host, insightful and “sideways” means of looking at things. Highly recommended.
