Regarding Isaiah 45:7 and calamities: Need to find out why they are asking. Yes, behind the calamity could be: 1) idea that we are not in charge 2) in natural disasters cleanup team may contain a teen who is next impactful pastor, evangelist, or humanitarian based on what that person experienced in aftermath of calamity. 3) search a natural disaster - benifits, science ex. Earthquake. If earthquakes did not happen pressure would not be relieved and ultimately earth would have cataclysmic situation. In the end: ask the person - can you see ultimately sometime in the future can good come from this situation

    I love Greg and Amy
They are a great resource. They have helped me in witnessing to people, thinking more clearly about scriptures and identifying faulty logic with myself and others.

So helpful to my understand with deep dive answers .
As Christian’s, life’s worldly struggles always exist for us. Clarity is helpful in my understanding and directs my focus toward that which I’m able to improve upon. Thank you!

    Female preachers?
Do you have an episode on women teaching in the church to men?

    Great show!
What’s not to love about #STRask? Amy picks great questions. After reading the questions in the episode summary, I frequently discover that I do not know the answer. They have answered several questions I sent in from their website. Just remember to keep it short! If you do not have twitter, like myself, type the question in Word or Pages first so you can make sure what you send is < 281 characters.

    I never miss this!
After I discovered this podcast, I binge-listened to it for weeks. Greg and Amy are great, and I especially love Amy’s insights. Greg has his own STR podcast. Amy should have her own show too!

    The best
I love this podcast and find it so helpful in addressing relevant questions about Christianity. Answers are biblically solid and well articulated. Amy and Gregg work very well together.

    Great resource
I have learned so much from this podcast. I really appreciate Greg and Amy’s ability to rightly divide the word of truth. Thank you.

This is my 2nd favorite podcast.
Only second to the Stand to Reason podcast, also with Greg Koukl. I lean every time I listen, I’m challenged and encouraged. Both podcast offer this, but this podcast is just a little shorter. The longer answer format is what I prefer, however Amy Hall has brilliant answers here along with Greg which is also a win. You won’t regret time spent with any Stand to Reason resource.

    My most listens to podcast
I am so thankful for this podcast. I heard about this podcast from Frank Tureks podcast a couple of months ago and after listening to this podcast the last couple of months it’s really opened my eyes to what Christianity is all about. I have been going to church & have been involved in many womens Bible studies & LifeGroups over the last 10 years since getting serious about Jesus. I have been searching for answers for a very long time and no one has explained things quite like Greg & Amy. I am so thankful for this podcast! 🙌🏻 Thank you guys for being obedient to the Lord and helping so many. Helping me. ♥️

    Most Important Podcast for Witnessing
Greg Koukl and the brilliant Amy Hall take calls and discuss issues to prepare ordinary Christians to fulfill the Great Commission. If you want to share your faith, you MUST read Greg’s book Tactics. In the podcast world, Greg is the current thought-leader. My Christian life began in a fundamentalist Baptist church where every witness encounter aimed for instant conversion. Some have the gift of evangelism, but God designed most of us to do the planting, weeding, and watering that prepares hearts for the evangelists. What a relief to be free of all that pressure and guilt! Now I can share my faith without feeling like a failure if I don’t harvest every time. Greg’s focus is on preparing gardeners so they can address barriers to conversion. With STR’s resources, you learn background and reasoning skills to spot logical errors and bring people along at their own pace, avoiding the knee-jerk reactions of those whose ears are closed to the truth. In the process, you will learn a lot about how to rightly divide the Word and avoid a lot of errors. If you want to stand up for your faith, listen to the Stand to Reason and the #STRAsk podcasts. Go all the way back and start at the beginning. They make a great complement to the Witness Wednesday episodes of Todd Friel’s Wretched Radio podcasts.

Worldview and Apologetics for Every Christian
STR is one of my go-to apologetics and discipleship resources for my work as a pastor.

    Enlightening
I never have trouble wondering if i learned something Biblically accurate when i listen to this show. Greg Koukl is a man driven to excellence in his many years living it out as a Christian. The questions come

    Wow. I am beside myself.
I have followed STR for years and after listening to their 2/4/21 show, I am utterly beside myself about the ignorance displayed and blatantly false information (that is easy to determine through even a cursory review of information from the CDC, FDA, and pharmaceutical manufacturers, among others). It appears that this is another ministry that has succumbed to what feels and sounds palatable rather than what is biblically sound and based on scripture versus emotions. Such a bummer because I really appreciated the apologetics approach and firm stand on biblical truth that STR used to have.

    Thanks
These shows help me and my study group even if we don’t agree. Always great questions to find answers to in the Bible.

    One Of My Favorite Podcasts
Amy Hall and Greg Koukl are helpful in their answers because they don’t merely give you an answer, they help you reason through it. I love listening to this duo. They are engaging and easy to listen too, but also honest. Great podcast! I have found it very helpful!

    Concise and Practically
Greg’s the heavy hitter but Amy makes it fun and often provides another angle that we didn’t see coming. Wonderful radio/podcast combination with these two. And the podcasts are short enough to get a quick lesson in

A good metric of the state of the art of Christian apologetics.
I listen every week. This is mainstream Christian apologetics, and is a good measure of the ever-evolving state of Christianity. I often use it as fodder for the Critical Thinking classes I teach. I’m so very glad I left Christianity 20 years ago, and I now have deep sympathy for those still lost in this life-diminishing ideology. Unfortunately, the questions to Greg are largely softballs. Search #STRask on Twitter to observe the more challenging questions they are unsurprisingly not asking on the show.

Amy Hall and Greg are great together
These two make a great duo. Amy especialy can get to the point quickly were Greg sometimes gets bogged down. Overall the content is excellent. I have learned alot from the STR podcast and now this briefer format. Keep up the good work folks.

    Packs a wallop—4 or 5 questions in 20 mins.
Not sound bites but certainly concise & clear answers to many knotty problems in about four minutes each. At the top of my podcast list twice a week!

    The least we can do
In a world of capsule wardrobes, fast food, and 20-minute aerobic sessions, this podcast rises to the top of my to-do list.

I really love this show. Greg’s short answers paired with Amy’s input... just excellent. I like to pause after the question and think about how I would answer and then listen. My teens like this show too! *rutabagaflourishing*

Short but Full to the Brim
Greg Koukl and Melinda Penner are two thoughtful, and humorous, people who offer a podcast where Greg answers three to four questions in approx. fifteen minutes. If you want to know how to think, and have a fascinating time while learning to do so, then this is a podcast for you. I highly recommend it to everyone!

    Great Short and Informative Podcast
I love this podcast. I was excited when Greg and Melinda began doing this short podcast. Oftentimes I don't have the time to listen to a full podcast and these brief question and answer shows are perfect. Whether it's just listening to one or two questions, or consuming the entire show, this fits perfectly for those who are short on time. Keep up the good work.
