Nobody compares and you own the college football podcast

Joel Klatt is one of my favorite analysts and he breaks down college football in a concise and clear manner. I’m excited for his YouTube content as well.

Joel is such a huge fan of college football and that comes through episode after episode. His understanding of the game and passion for the sport makes listening to him each week a lot of fun. His clear fandom for Ohio State doesn’t hurt either

Joel does an amazing job breaking down games players, etc. sometimes you have to deal with a little Colorado or Michigan bias love but other than that the show is one of the highlights of my week!

The college game is circling the drain. You condoning spineless quitters is part of the problem. If it doesn’t matter then why even play the game at all.

Love the show. Great on the Xs and Os, sound well thought out takes. Has passion for the sport. He’s a Colorado homer but I get it. Life long fan, player and alumnus. No one’s perfect 🤣

First off id like to say that I don’t always agree with everything that Joel says. But goodness imagine hating or giving the show a poor rating because you disagree on a DEBATABLE topic. Grow up and go listen to your favorite team’s bias radio show. Joel is a straight shooter. He is in the sport of college football full time watching film, breaking down games and speaking confidently and passionately about them. He is great for the sport and I recommend every sane fan of college football that wants unbiased coverage of college football a follow.

Klatt I'm a listener but always kinda considered you a pretty bland company man. Your takedown tweet of Kiffin was epic, that authenticity is what people want! Five stars bravo

Unfortunately Joel has lost touch with reality. Good show but his blind allegiance to the committee is sad, you need to accept when mistakes have been made. Id recommend listening to more open minded shows such as Josh Pate.

He clearly hasn’t scouted SMU and possibly not watched any tape at all. SMU lost to BYU by 3 points after changing QBs in the middle of the game and turning the ball over 2x inside the BYU 5 yard line. Anyone who watched the game knows that SMU dominated the game. Squeaked by in most of our other wins? SMU beat TCU by 24, beat a ranked Pitt team by 23, beat a ranked Louisville team on the road by a TD, beat Stanford on the road by 30. They squeaked by Duke because Kevin Jennings broke his hand in the game and couldn’t hold on to the ball. Do your homework if you are going to hold yourself out as a college football expert.

This is a fantastic college football podcast, even if he does like Colorado ;) his analysis is clear and makes sense, but is also interesting to listen to. It’s not just facts and figures, it’s way more.

NFL gives bye or preferred ranking to division winners over teams with better record that didn’t win their division. CFP isn’t the only one doing this. Get your facts straight. Otherwise I really love this podcast.

Rivalry week MI/OH was spot on and the insight on upcoming rankings was spot on. Thanks guys!

Ref. the 27Nov CFB Playoff ranking show, you should consider a 12-1 Army AAC Champion Tulane victor rather than Tulane or your beloved overrated Buffaloes. With a lone loss to the Irish, it would be HUGE TRAVESTY to leave out a 12-1 Conference Champion Service Academy, especially the heralded, historic Army Team!!!

Hopefully show runners read: Klatt discussed resumes and was flat wrong about Indiana’s margin or victory. The Fighting Irish have the best point differential in the FBS (+301) and have outscored their last nine opponents 399-92. That dominance was on display again on Saturday as Notre Dame handed No. 18 Army its first loss in a 49-14 result One would think with only 3 ranked vs ranked match ups the #6 vs #19 game would get a few seconds. Maybe a minute. Nope, hardly mentioned. He also used up a lot of oxygen talking about Colorado, who lost their 3rd game and was a Hail Mary away from their 4th.

I’m leaving a rating and review as Klatt requests numerous times during each episode. I disagree with literally everything he says and the fact that he exists and has a “platform” illustrates the pitfalls of capitalism. One star.

I love how Joel balances facts and his opinions. His options are understandable and he gives data and information to back up his opinions while also not trying to control what we think on the matter. I’d like to see Joel Colab with espn college game day podcast, it would rock

This is a great show. Joel is so knowledgeable, and him and Gus and Jenny are the best team in CFB. I usually listen on my phone, but I saw the behind the scenes of Joel and the crew on YouTube as they went to Madison. This was incredible insight and showed how much work goes into calling a game. Keep up the good work!

Klatt does a great job with timely release of onpoint college football analysis. Good balance of comment on the big programs and humorous and thoughtful commentary throughout. I look forward to these episodes whenever they release

Huge Nebraska and general college football fan here. Joel gets into the X’s O’s a lot, his expert analysis is 2nd to none. But it doesn't stop there. I also love to hear him talk bout about our Christian faith (i'm Christian), his family and his life advice. Klatt and Pate for co-college football commissioner!!

Joel does a great job, even if he wants to continue to talk about CU. Just messin, keep up the great work.

Joel does a great job breaking down games and informing the listeners. My only problem with the show is how biased he is towards The Big Ten and hatred for the SEC. Should also wear his Buckeyes hat while doing the show and announcing games.

Joel has great insights and a ton of knowledge on the college game! You can tell he has passion for the sport and the content is worth your time.

College football is my favorite sport and I consider myself a fan of the macro and micro parts of it. Joel Klatt is the top analyst of college football because of the way he can explain the minutiae to us with clarity, emotionally, and intellectually, all in a timely manner without talking down to us or making feel like he is an officer and we are enlisted. He shows us that he is a fan of the game first, and talks with us, not at us. I wish the podcast happened everyday, but I understand Klatt’s schedule and why that’s not possible.

I’m more into NFL, but for college content I listen to Joel.

Not sure when it happened but you’ve lost your touch, Joel. Becoming an apologist for coaches that can’t get the job done and he fantasizes what programs are. Not worth the time anymore, used to be so much better. Stick to analytics and color commentary, serves you much better than the opinion pod

I get it, his livelihood is the game and nothing would destroy it quicker than the loss of the integrity of the sport. I assume that is why he struggles so much talking about Michigan cheating. I’m disappointed :) Joel can’t be more open, clear, and honest about what it is. He is better off not talking about it at all because it only makes me question his integrity when he does.

Bring on Gus to the show!!

It never occurred to me how dim Joel is until this apparent cheating Michigan did. He’s talking 90s offensives and probability. Did Michigan illegally steal signs (y/n)? Should institutional cheating be punished (y/n)? Welcome to Earth Joel.

I dare you to find me a better college football analyst

Enjoyable and likable host who conveys a passion for college football. The in-season podcasts are extremely informative. Avoid the coaches interviews as they contain nothing but softball questions.

Joel has one of the best sports podcasts I have seen. His interviews are very insightful and diverse. He has a great voice for podcasting! Love the heavy focus on the B10.

One of the best CFB shows period bc Joel is a student of the game. He goes above the X’s & O’s in all aspects.

Love Joel and his insight but lost a bit by defending Michigan last year. That will soon be proven to be a swing and a miss. Other than that - no complaints

Joel great analyzing and call games

I really like Joel. His show may be B1G heavy. He definitely leans towards his alma mater (Colorado). He does a great job of expressing his opinions. Just like everyone else in the college football media, he sometimes gets it wrong. But most of the time, he’s just about right. Very entertaining to listen to at work.

is too biased to rate higher. He has good knowledge and a good delivery. It’s just too much B10 hyperbole. It I was a B10 fan I’d rate him 5 stars. Any other conference should rate him far less.

When it comes to college football, I look to Paul Finebaum for news and commentary — and Joel Klatt for analysis of teams, players, and games. I appreciate how he educates the audience, without talking down to us. And while The Joel Klatt Show isn’t a comedy podcast, with jokes and ‘bits’ — if you ever catch Joel when he’s a guest on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on FS1, those segments are some of the funniest on sports talk television.
