I was looking for a deep dive podcast for supernatural and this podcast is wonderful. Binging many years worth now. Bethany and Michelle are wonderfully endearing and knowledgeable and the literary analysis is second to none. I love when they pick apart the writing, pull out the essential meaning of the episodes, and share how they would improve the story and how it was told. Their Carry On episode made me cry, good job ladies :)

This is a master class for devoted fans of Supernatural. It's thoughful, insightful and lots of fun too. Really have laughed out loud at times. I feel as though I finally found a group that understands my love for this series. Carry on.

Bethany and Michelle bring supernatural to a whole new level. The small things I notice now thanks to this podcast makes the rewatches even better. The comparisons to classic literature brings so much more depth.Their analysis of everything from acting, to wardrobe to writers and directing choices makes the show so much more enjoyable. Add their hysterical wit and great chemistry that makes me feel like I’m talking to them makes this the best rewatch podcast I’ve ever listened to for any show! Someone recommended this podcast to me because I really love literature and thinking really deeply about the issues in SPN, and I’m so glad I did. The hosts are lovely and the debate is engaging and made me think of angles I hadn’t seen before. It feels like rewatching with friends 💕

This is the best Supernatural podcast around! Bethany and Michelle go through each and every episode in detail and bring attention to things I didn't notice! I love their segments. And I love how they delve into the psyche of each character. I also love the literary references they bring to the podcast and the humor they bring as well. Their laughter is infectious. This podcast is an utter delight; Michelle and Bethany clearly love their source material and have a deep connection to it. They intelligently and articulately discuss the show and I love the literary connections they bring to each discussion. They are unabashed in their love for the show and Sam&Dean but they’re also willing to thoughtfully critique when it is called for. If you love the show and the Winchesters, then this podcast is a must-listen. I’ve been listening along as I rewatch and it has made my experience so much richer!

I recently had my interest in SPN rekindled, and this podcast has really heightened my enjoyment as I rewatch. Bethany and Michelle bring to the table incredibly detailed critical analysis, pure and simple fannish joy that is a delight to share, and interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits gleaned from interviews. I always find myself laughing out loud while listening.

Michelle and Bethany consistently put out hilarious, curated content that expresses a true love of Supernatural and reflects in an intelligent and captivating way that is absolutely intoxicating. I’m late/new to the SPN hellscape/phenomena- I started watching season 1 in October 2019. I am addicted to podcasts and I searched high and low and listened to every single available podcast and found all of them lacking in one way or another... until the Plaidcast. Not only do I enjoy the format and the banter, but you make me THINK and FEEL and so color me not at all surprised when one of you mentioned you both teach English. This podcast reminds me of the very best English class discussions and it warms my heart. You’ve also made me completely reconsider and abandon my antipathy towards Sam and now I’m questioning everything and I cannot thank you enough for it. Keep fighting the good fight and thank you so very,very, very much for all that you do- in the classroom and on the inter webs.

The reviewers are coming it from a gen POV, a side and the fandom I didn’t really know before, but just as fun and passionate as the slash fandom spaces I used to enjoy so much. Great chemistry between the hosts and enthusiasm for the show.

This is great and fun podcast.. I started re-watching Supernatural with my daughter awhile ago and figured I would listen to a podcast too and found this one.. My 12 year old daughter is also a Dean girl.. which I find a bit concerning.. although she has mentioned many times she is not a fan of Dean’s more man-whorish habits.. but he’s still her favorite..also I find the girls rather entertaining and I just caught up with the podcast and well while I love the podcast I feel attacked.. I have Chops or long sideburns and the girls have made it quite clear with numerous bashing of Sam’s sideburns every episode that they are not fans.. Have you ever thought that maybe our beard or goatee doesn’t connect and it looks weird so some of us.. like Sammie chose different facial hair options for their grooming needs.. Maybe think of our feelings ladies.. lol anywho keep up the good work.. Thanks and Carry on my wayward Podcast..

If you are looking for an insightful and entertaining rewatch of Supernatural, look no further. Bethany and Michelle give a literate, entertaining, and heartfelt podcast of our two favorite demon hunting brothers. Even though they are both avowed “Dean girls”, they do appreciate the awesomeness of Sam, and laud both in a way that is not mawkish or cloying. This is a smart and funny walk through the years and will send you running to your DVD’s, Blu-ray, Netflix or even Cassette tapes to rewatch and say, “Oh yeah! I forgot how much I liked xxx!” So pop them on your list of must listen to and enjoy the ride.

The Plaidcast is much more than a Supernatural rewatch/recap podcast. Bethany and Michelle attempt to bring an understanding of the Winchester brothers that delves deeply into who they are as characters. You also get to listen to them try to untangle their own reactions to Sam and Dean as they go meticulously through each episode, helping to provide insights into what it is about these characters that has kept the show on the air for so long.

The hosts have a lot of chemistry and you can tell they've put a lot of thought into the show. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to relive Supernatural with expert guides. I always pick up something I missed for each episode. Keep it up!
