Snowballs100Good content, good humor,Great show. Deserves a better music lead at the start. And the solo Friday shows are hard to listen to.

Haydenyou areBest personalties in fantasy football podcastsI listen to a ton of sports and fantasy football podcasts and I’ve started to figure out that this is by far one of my favorites. Super funny along with the great analysis- must listen—————-seriously, it’s great!
-
Dbrannon323So funnyIn the same way that JJ Zachariason has far and away the best analytical approach in the Fantasy Football Extended Universe, Denny Carter is by far the funniest host. This is the only laugh out loud FF podcast, and it rules.
-
haydenx701Entertainment value off the chartsIf they gave the worst fantasy advice imaginable I would still listen. Denny and Pat have great chemistry. This is the only fantasy podcast that makes me legitimately laugh every single episode.
-
WellthenfineAll over the placeHost is too hyperbolic about everything. Doesn’t really add much value
-
Sargon1193hilariousPat and Denny are hysterical. Easily the funniest fantasy podcast.
-
Reno89521Good background audioGood to listen to when you’re busy doing stuff. Don’t really need to pay that much attention they’re more entertaining than informative. Can’t take anything that they say too seriously, they live in fantasyland and sports betting lives in reality.

DjdbvgRunning w/ narratives onlyYou guys are disappointing. You seriously just find a narrative and run with it without any context or actual mental ability. I’m hearing you talk about Kamara and Carr right now. You said, “Carr’s shoulder is just hanging at this point”…well no, NO it’s not. It’s healthy now. It was just hurt last season for a stretch while he played through injuries. Things don’t stick for life just cause of one season. His shoulder isn’t done for life guys…it’s clearly back to normal if you watch literally anything! It’s maddening that you guys run with one stretch of a single season and act like it’s forever. Then we go into Kamara catching a ton of passes and not getting many yards after…so then that ALSO means that is for the rest of his career. Buuut…could it POSSIBLY have been when Carr came back from injury and his shoulder actually WAS hurt, so he couldn’t throw downfield? Thus making him check down a ton…and POSSIBLY the defense knew? Is that possible? Or does that mean that Carr and Kamara are burnt and no longer can be anything different than what they were last year during the shoulder injury? It really shows a lack of research, a lack of football knowledge, and a obvious lack of playing experience. Cause you would know that injuries come and go. Carr didn’t tear his rotator cuff guys. Kamara caught balls cause carr played through injuries and had no other option. Why do you just focus on stats alone without watching or using common sense? It’s like you just listen to other people and repeat. It’s embarrassing. Do better please!
-
cyp3ohOnly Actually Funny Fantasy PodcastIt kinda loses something when they have guests. The guests try to be as funny as the hosts and they are not. Just had to turn off the episode with someone named Eric Froton. He was trying very hard to be funny and it was embarrassing/un-listenable.

Fleury9816PoliticsI’ve been a listener for a long time, I used to enjoy the content. One thing that annoys me now is how now there’s a constant political joke undertone to the content. From criticizing musk, and laughing at the X platform name non-stop, to now answering a question on the podcast in a Trump impersonation voice. It’s just getting old. It’s one of the things that I enjoy about fantasy football is for the most part you don’t have to listen to politics or have peoples political beliefs constantly jabbed at me. Far left or far right I don’t really wanna hear about it while tuning in to find out which players moving up draft boards.

Beatlejuice10Trashing MOYeah MO is great and the state does a lot to keep it that way, you just have terrible local leaders. You should probably move.
-
Lollllllollllolllllollll7Hilarious and great infoPatrick and Denny are clearly good friends and they are truly funny together. I enjoy the pods beyond the football talk. Good stuff guys.
-
Mike TuloGreat NFL Analysis PodGreat insights through reporting and fantasy analysis. Hosts have great chemistry. Only negative is Lawrence Jackson not having a radio voice - skip 30 on repeat until it’s over.
-
RetirePatRotoPat - please RetirePat!Pat has lost every facet of his “fast ball” and is intolerable to listen to as host of this show. Honestly, he seems like a human meme that changes a few key words to his lines each week, directed toward completely different scenarios. Broham, those who listen to your horrible taeks on this Podcast likely also eye roll at your dumb tweets and therefore don’t need you to regurgitate them on a podcast. The Sunday recap is the only episode with irreplaceable value, mostly because Pat only has a 10-15% “target share” in that bad boi…. We get it, you made a name for yourself writing ranks when no one else actually cared about fantasy football, you’ve now built-up a very strange ego, but your pessimism is unbearable. I cannot be the only person begging you are soon to retire, aka “Jover” - no one else could ruin the wonder that Denny Carter brings to the table! Thoughts - maybe go figure out why your wife has a child you haven’t met each time you “go upstairs” and find something that might actually give you the slightest shade of joy…. This ain’t it!
-
rjb33243 thumbs down…These guys blow. They treat Pat like a god and after listening him for years he’s not! I listen to most fantasy podcasts but this one is unbearable. Denny is ok. Gives some stats that can be helpful but he’s pulled down by the other 2 clowns. Pat, you aren’t funny. Shut up and let Deny talk. Deny find a new home. Fast…
-
OnlytheyoungPat and Denny = Protect them at all costsPat and Denny are national treasures. They make me laugh out loud at least once an episode and the content is also 5 stars.
-
Justin17thThe Best Mix of Info and Humor of all FFB podsPat, Denny and Friends alway keep me entertained. (I consulted Denny’s lawyers for the proper wording of this review)
-
Skim1690642699Thursday show crap! You didn’t talk about nick chub
-
TMikeMacThe Bud Light of Sports PodsDenny owns the libs
-
dubyyellowKyle ShanahanThese guys know more about running a successful offense than Kyle Shanahan does.
-
Berniebro rickPat and Denny are wonderfulThis is a terrific NFL football podcast I would recommend to anyone interested in the game, and of course fantasy football. I’ve been reading Pat and Denny’s stuff for more than a decade by now, I’m sure, and can tell you that these guys are both knowledgeable about the game as well as being all around nice, funny and clever fellas. Keep up the great work guys—you are prohibited from ever shutting down this podcast.
-
Jacob from San DiegoWell balanced, easy to listenFound this show recently and it’s become one of my fav. It’s a good balance between fantasy, narratives, and statistics. It’s lighthearted and they do make some jokes, but it never derails the show because they got back on topic pretty quickly. Overall good stuff!
-
Jacob BandoniGood football podcastIt's a good mix of approachable for the casual FF player and some deeper analytical content for the degenerates. Plus the hosts are much funnier and more entertaining than most other FF podcasts

You'llThankMeLaterDear DaughertyDaugherty, for the love of all things oratory, please go back and lIsten to the “mistakes to avoid” pod (or any episode you’re on, essentially). You say ‘like’ as much as any human being (and/or American teenaged girl) that has ever walked the Earth. It is nothing short of UTTERLY OUTRAGEOUS. I actually tried to count them during one particular segment (slow night for me, admittedly) and I couldn’t keep up. There are times when you alternate your go-to verbal tic with forward-moving words in a one-to-one capacity. “Like, he’s like, not like doing like what we thought he like, would.” Are you for real, guy?? This is your JOB. Nothing personal, but as a concerned consumer who was once told that funny faces could result in permanent facial stagnation, I’m worried that someone is going to find you slumped in a corner one day muttering your catch phrase into perpetuity. “Like like like like like like like.” [record scratch] Please fix this. ASAP. It’s for your own good.
-
Seanster10Good content when they get to it.Like you guys but stop trying to make each outer laugh at bad jokes and tangents. Could knock off 20 minutes without all the side commentary.
-
adam_rozayAwesomeI love this show. So funny, Pat D is the man. Kerrane is a G, Denny has such funny bits. Love

Etienne95616“Tudders”? Seriously? Go with CBS fantasy football instead.Patrick Daugherty is that wannabe cool guy you knew in high school. His infantile attempt to sound young and appeal to teens with his inane references and use of “tudder” to reference touchdowns is sadly pathetic. If you want to listen to wannabe frat boys talk about football for 15 minutes and spend the other 45 minutes making lame jokes and vague references, then this is the show for you. “Kenny Pickett lookin’ sus.” The use of children’s vernacular sums up the show: a group of guys trying to sound cool and trendy while talking about fantasy football. What’s painful is they know their stuff, but their style really takes away from the listenable quality of the show. To elaborate: the guys know football pretty well, but it can be a slog listening to an episode. Just check out their mock draft episode 806. It’s 80% insider banter, 20% content. By all means, catch up with one another, but do it before recording the podcast. It’s just boring insipid conversation with limited useful content.

TheRealGoliathIn RotationOne of my favorite shows to listen to now. I never miss. All the guys are pretty cool. I think a lot of people don’t like Lawrence Jackson because he doesn’t use his “white voice” and actually speaks how 92% of black guys actually talk and folks don’t like it. When I first heard him I thought they had a call in on the show until I realized he was an actual host. I was just shocked it was ok for him to talk like that. (First time actually hearing him was on Yahoo as a guest of Liz Loza’s but they use Yahoo or something so whatever). Every guy on here has a super annoying voice or talking style though if we’re just being honest. The information and breakdown is excellent though. I only discovered this show because of Matthew Berry coming to NBC and I was (and still am) thoroughly confused about why NBC has TWO fantasy football podcasts along with the fact that NBC uses Yahoo as it’s primary fantasy platform and Yahoo also has it’s own podcast (and I listen to all of them). Would make my life easier if y’all consolidated but movie star Berry would never go for it I guess. Anyway, keep it up and consider going Monday-Friday instead of Sunday-Thursday. The Sunday show is super annoying because some of the games are still going on during your show. ✌🏾

The better NateGo to showI was admittedly skeptical that the show could go on after the departure of its host, Josh Norris, but the crew that they have is arguably performing at a higher level now. A Good Football show is the podcast equivalent of the Chiefs after they traded Tyreek Hill. Pat Kerrane, Denny Carter, Lawrence Jackson, Kyle Devorchak, and Pat Daugherty all provide solid insights and entertaining discourse. It is a good football show.
-
bluesalamoneGreat, but Certain Episodes need a warningThe warning should read: “beware, this episode has Lawrence Jackson featured in it prominently.” Dude says absolutely nothing useful, just boilerplate nonsense, and he says it in the slowest and most irritating way possible. Just warn me so I know which ones to skip, please
-
BIGGEST TEXLawrence has got to goRotoworld used to be my favorite podcast by far!!! However, Lawrence Jackson ruins the show. He is not insightful, not funny, and most times is unintelligible. Please stop the “bring your neighbor to work” experiment.
-
It can only be meGreat insightOverall great show. Enjoy the different all of the different points of view. The only downside is whoever is washing dishes in the background during the weekly post game reviews.
-
Breakfast TsarMost enjoyable FF show with most likable hosts.Just when I thought there was no way to improve on the unique and hilarious banter among the two Pats and Denny, the show adds Lawrence which has taken it to another level. There are a couple of FF podcasts that are probably as substantively helpful as Good Football Show, but I don’t think any have the blend of entertainment and info. NBC should probably cast these guys in a sitcom. This is a must download for my commute. 5 ⭐️.

jake somersOh noWhat happened
-
HansmasheenInteresting build…very uniqueI love your WRs, but I’m a little worried about your RBs
-
Engine_guy_MattSolid show, some hosts better than othersReally enjoy the Pat D & Denny shows; they have a funny dynamic (I like the ongoing bit about trying to get Denny kicked off the show with Denny’s army of attorneys keeping him employed). The other hosts are fine, except for Lawrence Jackson… he just seems to be listening to a different podcast than everyone else. The other hosts have opinions based on film or analytics or something, then Lawrence comes in with some some sort of “This guy’s gonna get it done” take that doesn’t really seem to jive with what the other hosts are doing. Seems like a nice guy, but I listen for the fantasy football analysis, and I get basically none of that from Lawrence.
-
coleman jShow is getting worseLawrence is terrible
-
Hugo DM1993Don’t like the change in lineupNew guy (at least new to those just reengaging for football season) just doesn’t work for me.
-
mattmc4lifeThe down hill podcastSteady decline in this podcast ever since Evan Silva left. Each year I think to myself this can’t get any worse. I think I’ve found the reason why my fantasy football success is declining. One member of the show is completely unintelligible - makes Ross Tucker sound like he’s speaking clearly.
-
MaksimGooseLauren Carpenter and Lawrence Jackson are the worst in the businessLauren Carpenter and Lawrence Jackson are unbearable to listen to! Awful.

Denny Den Den 24Lawrence Jackson is killing what was a top fantasy showThis is a classic case of subtraction by addition ... A Good Football Show was actually a GREAT fantasy football show for a long time with Denny and Pat leading the way with a perfect blend of professional analysis/analytics and humor. But in recent weeks/months, Sports Edge apparently decided to forcefeed upon us one Lawrence Jackson on the show, and he totally kills any positive momentum/engagement every time he opens his mouth. Talk about sucking any positive air/energy out of the room when he speaks in what seems like an endless display of cringe-worthy podcast utterances: He offers literally zero analysis (it's all "I like this dude ... This other dude, I dunno, I gots to see it first, y'know?" ... Really???? That actually passes for "analysis" these days?) He seems incapable of uttering a single sentence without absolutely butchering the English language. His personality comes across as something between "perpetually stoned" and "disinterested/checked out" and "I'm just here so I don't get fined." He contributes no more "insight" than that garden variety, casual fantasy player in your league who finishes maybe .500 most seasons. He delivers EVERYTHING in this "fingernails on chalkboard-inducing" flat, energy-depleted monotone that -- combined with the horrific torture of the English language in every spoken sentence -- just makes you want to turn this thing off entirely, despite how great Denny and the rest are. In other words, he brings absolutely nothing to the show and he's honestly killing it. There is lots of competition in the fantasy space ... We can go back to pods from CBS Fantasy Football Today, Fantasy Footballers, Establish the Run, Most Accurate Football Podcast, etc. that haven't cheapened themselves by bringing on incredibly "nowhere near ready for prime time/sub-par" talent.

3 hole punch JimRookie WR deep diveThis was the best episode yet of “A Good Football Show”. Episode felt more like what the old RotoWorld show was and why I listened in the first place
-
billbratzkeFantastic!!I especially enjoy the Denny/Pat D pods but all of them are excellent! Highly recommend.
-
nogataphilGreat show!I love the balance this show provides. Great insight about fantasy football combined with the hosts perspectives on random aspects of life. I’ve found myself more than once laughing out loud while driving to work.
-
acjazThis season’s iteration is the best yetThe Pat D and Denny episodes are the absolute best, and I’m always looking forward to Kerrane’s stat of the week.
-
Royal Payne 77A perfect fantasy podcastDenny and Patt D are hilarious and a wealth of knowledge. John Daigle is one of the sharpest minds in fantasy even when he whining every week about how awful the slate is, how gross, the TE’s are, how long the season is, and how miserable he is watching football he drops absolute gyms and is a phenomenal listen. Kerrane(not sure that’s the spelling.) has the most background noise of any podcast content creator in history but he comes correct every podcast and gives excellent data. Kyle Dvorvheck (again not sure the spelling.) is quickly becoming one of my favorite DFS listens.
-
CbrlanceGood show, great effortI appreciate the time and effort. But the more time i spend listening to fantasy podcasts and start sits. Then following those suggestions, i find myself getting the shaft from such suggestions. So i need to limit the time i spend on podcasts. Great show, but the footballers edge them out and i need to drop down to just one podcast.
-
monfreirNot just Good….. it’s fabulousThese guys make me chuckle and bring some good fact based analysis
-
sugattgamePat’s sarcasmI can’t handle listening to this pod anymore due to Pat’s nonstop sarcastic hosting style. He would serve better as an analyst or guest, but as host it’s unbearable. His sarcasm used to be funny because it was occasional. But now it’s literally every sentence and I can’t tell if he’s actually giving advice or just trying to be clever. We listen mostly for actionable advice and Pat doesn’t seem to give that anymore or doesn’t do so seriously. Also, try going through a single episode without saying “zoomer”.
-
mikeclyneGam StatusI tried to look up what this meant, and it auto-corrected to Game Stats.
