drekwjxiosnSurrounded by SuccessThis podcast has given me the confidence and motivation to surround myself with only the best people that match my goals. He has pushed me to purchase several books and read them all the way through. Before 2024, I hadn’t read since early high school… here I am ~8 books later.

Al-in-AustinThe Best!David Sendra’s Founders podcast series is truly amazing and one of a kind. It has provided hours and hours of inspirational, educational, and exciting content that I only wish a much younger version of myself had access to. The unbridled enthusiasm that Sendra brings to his research and the show puts it over the top. There are so many inspirational episodes that offer incredible life lessons around business, sports, or just life in general. I would highly encourage any young person who wants to get a ahead in the world to listen to episodes about Michael Jordan, Joseph Kennedy, Sam Walton, Sam Zemurray, Les Schwab, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many, many others. Just incredible. Thank you, David!

Jared B PetersonAmazing storiesYoure fantastic at using wuotes and dialoge to tell the stories. I love the show. You MUST write a book about all these lessons!
-
PetJumAmazing summary of the best livesI love this podcast. You basically get the best of an incredible book in one hour. If you love great books and great people, you’re gonna love this podcast and the host is amazing.🏆🏆🏆

Geoff Langenderferfantasticfounders podcast is like us history but for startup founders. It’s gold to learn about past figures trying to do new things. it’s hard to find community if you’re trying to build a startup. this fills that hole.

bnz229ThanksAwesome.

sobokillerGold!! Get a shovel and mine!If you want to get rich you may learn how to here but if that is all you take away you have missed the point. David teaches us how to discover who we are by telling us others’ journey of self discovery and to embrace your talents which other people have mistakenly called quirks. Ditch that outer scorecard and learn the inner scorecard is the only one that matters. 100 down and 261 to go and 1,000 in the pipeline. -one book guy to another. P.S. pronunciation is overrated and we identify.
-

Denver FounderLife Long LearningDavid has created an AMAZING tool. Even though I have bought 40 businesses in my career, there’s always something to learn from other founders. I appreciate the brevity to learn a book which I get through on my walks. Try listening at 1.75x or 2.0x !

bkumar987Absolutely amazingLoved these podcasts. Can you please do a show on Dhirubhai Ambani. An Indian founder. He rose from being an employee at a gas station to creating a business empire worth several hundred billion dollar. One famous anecdote about him, is when he was working at a gas he used to $10 monthly, but he would go and have tea in 5 star hotel, which would at time cost as much. People would say that he wastes money going in those hotels to have tea. But the reason he would go there was listen to conversations people would have there, all wealthy business people, to learn from their conversations and get a chance to meet them.

Rishabh Bhatia 1Best podcast to self improveHello David, This is the best podcast I found few months back. Since then all my car drive is taken over by your podcast. I learn every time I drive , workout, do house chores etc. Funny thing was I found your podcast after finishing poor Charlie Alamanck. And this podcast is helping me increase my world view. I have reached 148th episode, can wait to go over the upcoming 1000s of biographies. I have made an excel sheet of the books covered and have already selected the books to order. Thank you for building this podcast. Thanks Rishabh

Matthew AckermanInvaluable resource for the ambitious individualDavid Senra has accomplished with founders creating a single source—a wellspring—of curated information about the formidable individuals who have built our world. His commentary and insights, not only entertaining and educational, help the listener realize that they too can shape the world, if only they choose to try.

Sean KemperIncredible ContentDavid’s passion for entrepreneurship is so authentic. I’m ready to run through a wall after many of his episodes. Love how he covers a wide variety of individuals- athletes, entertainers, titans of business, etc. Unsolicited content suggestion- The Marathon Don’t Stop- The Life and Times of Nipsey Hussle. Some great stories in the book about recognizing an industry seachange and seizing the resulting opportunity.

lalisyalMa man to iMacThe name change from "MacMan" to "iMac" was influenced by several factors under the leadership of Steve Jobs at Apple. Initially, Ken Segall, an ad agency creative director working with Apple, proposed the name "MacMan" as one of the options during the development of the new product. However, Steve Jobs initially disliked the name "iMac" when it was suggested, but Segall insisted that the "i" prefix could stand for "internet," "individual," "instruct," "inform," and "inspire." These terms resonated with the product's focus on ease of internet access, among other innovative features. Despite his initial resistance, Steve Jobs eventually warmed up to the name "iMac" after seeing it in a context that helped underscore the product's emphasis on the internet—highlighting one of the key selling points of the product at the time. This decision was pivotal as it set the stage for a series of revolutionary products from Apple that followed the same naming convention, such as the iPod, iPhone, and iPad, defining a brand identity that favored simplicity and approachability. This name change underlined Jobs' ability to see the broader implications of product naming in shaping consumer perceptions and aligning with the product's innovative features. It was a blend of strategic marketing and vision, capturing the essence of what the new computer was all about and how it differed from competitors.

Tripple letter after GQuality WorkWell researched. David is a gifted communicator and teacher. You may get more from this podcast then you would from a college degree. The only thing college has that this podcast doesn’t is the relationship/networking potential.
-

asdfhasdlkfjha;sdifhThe best media (not just podcast) I’ve found as a founderIf you’re a founder or an aspiring one, you should be reading biographies. You should also be listening to this show. I have learned so so much from David - things I could have learned if I had infinite time to read - which, unfortunately, I don’t (I’m trying to build a company). I cannot get enough of this. It’s information. Its inspiration. It’s valuable beyond words. Just listen.
-
The Entrepreneur ManBest Podcast To DateI have been listening to David’s show for nearly a year now. missmindyeThank you!!!The first time I listened I thought why do I want to listen to this guy telling me his opinions on biographies— by the end of the episode I was like this is amazing. I am so grateful to you for making this show which has now become somewhat of an obsession. I wish I had discovered this while I was trying to launch my business, which I ultimately had to put on hold. Thank you David, your show inspires me and and the more I listen, the better it gets as I can start to connect the dots.

szenderbBelief before AbilityThis podcast is amazing. David weaves the ideas of history’s greatest creators and entrepreneurs into a master class on building and growing your own company. As a creator, the episodes on Steve Jobs and James Dyson are probably the most important, but every episode contains valuable insights that become exponentially more relevant as you work through the catalog.
