David has accomplished his goal of building something that people will one day thank him for changing their lives. He has changed mine. We surround ourselves with the best minds and David’s name will be remembered as a relentless entrepreneur who changed more than one life.

This podcast has given me the confidence and motivation to surround myself with only the best people that match my goals. He has pushed me to purchase several books and read them all the way through. Before 2024, I hadn’t read since early high school… here I am ~8 books later.

The host jumps right into the good stuff

David Sendra’s Founders podcast series is truly amazing and one of a kind. It has provided hours and hours of inspirational, educational, and exciting content that I only wish a much younger version of myself had access to. The unbridled enthusiasm that Sendra brings to his research and the show puts it over the top. There are so many inspirational episodes that offer incredible life lessons around business, sports, or just life in general. I would highly encourage any young person who wants to get a ahead in the world to listen to episodes about Michael Jordan, Joseph Kennedy, Sam Walton, Sam Zemurray, Les Schwab, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many, many others. Just incredible. Thank you, David!

founders podcast is like us history but for startup founders. It’s gold to learn about past figures trying to do new things. it’s hard to find community if you’re trying to build a startup. this fills that hole.

If you want to get rich you may learn how to here but if that is all you take away you have missed the point. David teaches us how to discover who we are by telling us others’ journey of self discovery and to embrace your talents which other people have mistakenly called quirks. Ditch that outer scorecard and learn the inner scorecard is the only one that matters. 100 down and 261 to go and 1,000 in the pipeline. -one book guy to another. P.S. pronunciation is overrated and we identify.

Loved these podcasts. Can you please do a show on Dhirubhai Ambani. An Indian founder. He rose from being an employee at a gas station to creating a business empire worth several hundred billion dollar. One famous anecdote about him, is when he was working at a gas he used to $10 monthly, but he would go and have tea in 5 star hotel, which would at time cost as much. People would say that he wastes money going in those hotels to have tea. But the reason he would go there was listen to conversations people would have there, all wealthy business people, to learn from their conversations and get a chance to meet them.

This podcast opens your mind. I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts wanting to start a business: my first million, how I built this and other. This podcast helps you discover the roadmap of what incredible people have done. Helps you learn and gives you the opportunity to apply it into your own life. Give this podcast a try. My recommendation is start at episode 1.

If you want a high leverage activity. This is it. You might want to listen over and over as the concepts sometimes take time to digest, but there are clear patterns that David highlights which are applicable to almost any life and career situations. Thank you!

Hello David, This is the best podcast I found few months back. Since then all my car drive is taken over by your podcast. I learn every time I drive , workout, do house chores etc. Funny thing was I found your podcast after finishing poor Charlie Alamanck. And this podcast is helping me increase my world view. I have reached 148th episode, can wait to go over the upcoming 1000s of biographies. I have made an excel sheet of the books covered and have already selected the books to order. His commentary and insights, not only entertaining and educational, help the listener realize that they too can shape the world, if only they choose to try.

David’s passion for entrepreneurship is so authentic. I’m ready to run through a wall after many of his episodes. Love how he covers a wide variety of individuals- athletes, entertainers, titans of business, etc. Unsolicited content suggestion- The Marathon Don’t Stop- The Life and Times of Nipsey Hussle. Some great stories in the book about recognizing an industry seachange and seizing the resulting opportunity.

Well researched. David is a gifted communicator and teacher. You may get more from this podcast then you would from a college degree. The only thing college has that this podcast doesn’t is the relationship/networking potential.

I really like the way these podcasts are hosted and it gives a lot information about how founders think. I definitely would recommend to someone who is aspiring to be an entrepreneur.

I have learned so so much from David - things I could have learned if I had infinite time to read - which, unfortunately, I don’t (I’m trying to build a company). I cannot get enough of this. It’s information. Its inspiration. It’s valuable beyond words. Just listen.

I have been listening to David’s show for nearly a year now. The content is phenomenal and tailored directly to the entrepreneur/founder listening in hoping to gain insight on whatever journey they are on. This is such a great podcast. To hear David’s passion for not only telling these stories, but to extract actionable advice from these historic figures, is just a real privilege and a pleasure to listen to. Highly recommend, it’s really well done.

The first time I listened I thought why do I want to listen to this guy telling me his opinions on biographies— by the end of the episode I was like this is amazing. I am so grateful to you for making this show which has now become somewhat of an obsession. I wish I had discovered this while I was trying to launch my business, which I ultimately had to put on hold. Thank you David, your show inspires me and and the more I listen, the better it gets as I can start to connect the dots.
