T$unami PapiLEVY IS GOATEDMike Levy is the absolute GOAT of cycle podcasts… I hope he’s getting equity in whatever entity owns this show because I bet he’ll make a HUGE impact on listenership. I’m a mountain biker who doesn’t care much about road or gravel, but I will listen to Levy podcast about pretty much anything. Glad to have you back, Mike!

FlnbwnoI’m here for LevyMissed this man from my podcast listening. Luckily I’m a curly bar guy too.
-
Clairee232Five stars for LevyListening to Levy again makes me realize how much I missed Levy. Excited to hear him back in the pod world. I hope he continues to host, he’s a great asset and pulls the best out of the co-hosts.

Zach18593ImprovingGood to hear Levy back.

Ok but could've been betterPlease learn how to pronounce the riders namesCommentary is decent, but cadence is behind other better podcasts - Cycling Podcast, LTR, and Escape. Andrew Hood is wasted on this pod and the only one who seems to be actually current on what is happening in cycling. Bobby seems to only be casually following the events in cycling (they aren’t using the Angrilu in the 2024 Vuelta) and can’t pronounce anyone’s names properly. I’d give him one- but he misses every single one. Very distracting and confirms that I need to find another pod to follow.

giv'emWhere are youThis podcast has changed tacks a few times in the 2+ years i have subscribed . It has progressively become hard to follow due to changes in hosts and focus. Outside + continues to alienate me with its content and approach to it s subscriber$. Plenty of other more pleasant other ways to consume content and follow cycling . RIP VeloNews . Over and out .

pulling the plug on itPlugged inThis is one of my favorite podcasts - Ben is a great host and the pod keeps me feeling plugged into the cycling scene. Keep it up!!

yoga.ahaThrace-Face strikes again! Fast Talk be good. C._F.D.^2=T.R!Many of the, ‘Fast Talk,’ shows are excellent! Get Joe Lindsey on board, he would be a great anchor, seriously. I don’t know him or anything, he just does good solid cycling commentary- straight faced. Bobby J truly is a sockling luminary! It’s uncanny but true that Caley from CT, Fred Dreier and Fran Drescher are, in fact, one in the same person: Thrace-Face! The Tour de France commentary would be more valuable if it came out more promptly, like, The Move, Ha! Armstrong should be in prison for fraud; if he was black, he would be. #imprisonarmstrong Velonews is Jinxed, not Primrose. & yeah the team lacks organization. Strickland needs to go to jail for Wilson’s death, at a minimum he was the strawman.

pinarello55I miss Fred.Ben Delaney, may know a lot about cycling, may be a good print journalist. NOT a voice host. Really miss Fred. Used to really look forward to the podcast. Not anymore. Ben. You should listen to one of your own podcasts. They’re not good.

JimV 1GravelGravel……Sorry nobody gives a BLEEP! That’s the point, it’s just an expensive group ride.
-
jimbobridesLook Forward to Every WeekI personally love Ben as the new host. He is a real passionate rider that brings racing and training experience to the table.
-
abrahamcarterhick@gmailBen Delaney? Please don’t let Ben take over podcast hosting duties! His articles and general contribution to VN is great, but he is the worst choice for host. His voice is so dull and boring. I could not sit through the last podcast and won’t sit through this second one, either. It’s like listening to a big oaf that rides gravel. I can’t do it. Can’t Sadhbh be the host? With regular Hoody check ins? Seriously. Think about it. Please.

kevinbarrettkaneGood insights/conversation, production quality lackingThe VeloNews podcast is a great weekly refresher on world tour racing and behind the scenes insights and gossip. Production quality isn’t amazing, but bearable. However, in the age of the podcast renaissance, can you please take the simple step of muting your notifications while recording?
-
Sassan27Great podcastBeen enjoying these and especially loving the interviews w the presents ex pros . Keep them coming .

Dini77Ep.80 Cancellara...brilliantWhat a brilliant podcast and fantastic perspective from Fabian Cancellara. The humility, maturity and wisdom provided were so impressive. So good to hear and huge chapeaux to Gus, Bobby J and Fabian for this podcast!

Angeleno99Could be so much betterMy unvarnished views: Cut the silly circus clown music at the beginning and try not to be so dopey. I must say there are some segments that don’t have this element and are rather good, but Im so turned off that I find myself looking for other ways to get cycling news.
-
ThurasheGood pod with uneven production scheduleI like this pod - when it comes out. They don’t seem to have a consistent, daily, prompt post stage update schedule, like The Move or CyclingTips.
-
HirumGrantNo tour coverage?Any plans for TdF coverage on the podcast? 3 stages down so far
-
JGillespie17Perfect!Love turning on a podcast while I’m getting my miles in, some good laughs but very informative at the same time !! Keep it up!!!
-
RideyourbikenowGreat showThis is a great show. Very informative and good topic you don’t usually get with a cycling podcast.
-
A. B. CharleyPYSO: Gus is greatI will start listening again when Gus goes solo, or finds a better co-host.
-
Hughes225More Juli Young 👍Really like hearing Julie Young’s perspectives on training in episode 91 👍
-
Boneyard987223Meh...Listen to these podcasts on long drives and while on trainer and there is a wide variance on entertainment levels: The good: 1. Andrew Hood race recaps and previews are excellent 2. Training info is usually helpful 3. Dietary info / fueling strategies helpful 4. Racer interviews are usually entertaining The bad: 1. The “tech” podcasts are so boring I would rather listen to paint dry. They should be eliminated! 2. Huge sound quality issues and variance on volume levels of each individual speaking. Annoying.

jj2138Training made understandable!Thank you thank you thank you for episode 68!! I love how you took a potentially complicated topic and simplified it into something “regular people” like me can understand.
-
Merckx72Fast TalkIs there a way I can only see fast talk. Or do I need to scroll through a thousand other ones also?
-
ParleeScientific MethodVery confusing discussion on statistics. Go back learn what a sampling distribution is vs a sample.

BBrumaginThank you!! Excellent Podcast with TJFred. Thank you all at VeloNews for keeping us plugged into the cycling world with your weekly podcast! My wife and I love getting the new episodes and listening together. Excellent work and content. We appreciate the work and effort that goes into the podcast. Thanks again. The TJ interview was perfect to set off the Tour of Utah! Thank you— and the crew. Brent & Hannah

TGriz1Could be betterMusic cut ins are unnecessary and way to loud. Get rid of the “Superfan” shtick and just have the guy ask his questions.
-
PuckfortlandPYSO WHAAAAAT?Coach Bobby J and Gus Morton are the best if you ask me! A fresh combination of culture and humor and the guests are world class. I’ve said it a thousand times “ Two JB’s still aren’t as good as one BJ!” Great Podcast!
-
johnnyrebel16Good pro coverage most of the timeLike the PYSO TDF pods. The other general podcasts can be good. Sorry, but when Coach Trevor is involved I just can’t listen, but otherwise the stream is solid.
-
bwill867PSYO mehI love Fast Talk with Trevor and Chris. I also enjoy the Velonews podcast with Fred & company. PSYO is simply uninspired. I even think the non-Bobby J guy joked one time that they don't write their script, someone else does. Whether true or not I don't find it entertaining or insightful. I also don't understand why this podcast is on Velonews because it appears to conflict with Velonews podcast. It certainly does not conflict with Fast Talk which is the best podcast on sports science by far.
-
jennycee7Great Guests! Thanks for featuring Kate Courtney and Dr. Stacy Sims! Learned a lot from these episodes and always enjoy hearing from inspiring, smart women.
-
xxDruMMer BoYxxGet rid of the VOICES IntroLove the podcast. But you guys HAVE to get rid of the dreamy porn sounding intro man. Hahaha. Just sounds wrong and so 90’s.
-
BertoiaWhat on earth is a cycling luminary?!Ok too much guys. It’s not an innovation - it’s an podcast with Bobby J Tone it done
-
Rando RichardGood Pocsast on SupplementsFast Talk #65 on pickle juice, beetroot juice and dark chocolate rocks!

50-13One problemGreat content expertly produced as always. Keep it coming! Dropping one star this time for belittling/mocking followers’ questions (heart rate 143 vs. 147). Unwise to bully the subscribers.
-
Bmckay123Awesome bike race training podcastI love these podcasts! I am a masters cat 2 racer who participates in multiple disciplines. I have found many many training gems in these podcasts. I cant think of one fast talk episode that I thought was not relevant. I can’t get enough. Keep them coming ! Brett
-
FearlessFife1955VeloNews is a good one.I really enjoy this podcast as an avid cyclist. They do a nice job mixing real world tips and thoughts with news from the pro tour. The only time I have been disappointed is when they have spent great amounts of time discussing their snacks. Recently, however, those conversations have subsided. Recommend subscribing.

FeuersthalerWhy Spencer? He’s the worst. Fast Talk on the other hand is amazing. I listen to every episode in its entirety. Spencer’s..... nope, can’t handle 2 minutes listening to him. Andy.
-
@kenjohnsonindyCan’t wait for the next episode! This is one of my favorite cycling podcasts. A great mix of science and cycling that can do nothing but help you understand training to be a better cyclist. I always enjoy the guests as well as the hosts who bland training, science, and cycling together so well. Great job!
-
BikrrrFast Talk is great, but they need to have three separate feedsI only listen to Fast Talk, which I find informative and entertaining. But since it's lumped into the same feed as "Velonews Cycling Podcast and Tech Podcast, it's a pain to use in my podcast app. Each of them should have it's own feed. Giving it only 3 stars until then. :)
-
perry dakarMixed BagI definitely like that the hosts and guests are good-natured and do not take themselves too seriously. I also have found the training theories to be informative without being dogmatic. Everybody on the show seems to have a pretty good sense of perspective. Audio quality for phone guests is hit-or-miss, but seems to be improved recently. My personal preference would be for shorter episodes that range less widely. I would be more likely to commit to a 30-40 minute episode.
-
jlinnskiThank YouThis is a great cycling podcast with a well balanced mix of racing news, both men’s and women’s, and training advice. I’ve checked out some other cycling podcasts but keep coming back to VeloNews for their consistent, high quality coverage and light hearted sense of humor. Look forward to the show each week, keep it up!
-
Jimmy708Get bicycling podcastI really enjoy this podcast. I have learned so much form fast talk. The 80-20 rules, how to counter steer, the power of the long ride. Definitely worth listening to.
-
onmyR3Tim Johnson EpisodeGreat conversation but it leads to the question, “As far as it has come, how can cyclocross grow as a sport. It shouldn’t be a perennial problem.
-
232161943soDr.In my humble opinion there is way too much talk by Trevor Connor when there is a special guest, e.g., Dr. Seiler. When there is a knowledgeable expert guest, it is not necessary for Mr. Connor to be talking about all the things he does and imply how wonderful and exceptional he is for a 47 y/o guy. I guess that he does not realize it, but it comes across as bragging and almost competing with the expert's plan. When Dr. Seiler is there, one wants to hear about his research and experience, not 50% about Connor's rides and workouts and his somewhat condescending repeated use of the term "my athletes." Just saying.
-
suzebluezyEp 97 On the GravelHighly entertaining! Took this one on my evening walk and laughed out loud many times. Snappy intelligent interviews re the renowned Dirty Kanza and even better when you know some of the characters personally and are current with the issues raised.

ATLScoopsNot originalLong time VN reader, but they’ve given up on creativity and leading the news. Give me Cycling News and Slow Ride Podcast and I’m covered.
