Great Sixers content and analysis from Keith Pompey and John Mitchell is a real professional who keeps it real.

Pompey sounds like he is barely paying attention, you can hear his phone notifications and such going off constantly, and to be honest he should stick to writing. Hopefully this podcast is just in its “Process” era and better hosts will come if we’re patient. As an avid Sixers fan, I want to like this podcast so badly. But Pompey just ain’t built for podcasting.

Been listening for the last 6 months now and I have to find another Sixer podcast at this point. Poorly edited and the tired, almost monotone delivery of the topics have done it for me. Where’s the energy and enthusiasm at? I think I heard the announcer actually yawn near the end of an episode called “Impending Distraction”. That’s unprofessional.

I want to love this so badly but the audio and editing is just so atrocious. Also, the hosts are quite mediocre as well.

So glad Kieth is working with Devon. Big fan of his show on 97.5. Wish we would’ve kept his cousin.

My favorite Sixers voice in town, Devon Givens, makes this a must listen. Devon is measured, realistic, and technical with his opinions on our team. Keith is a beat writer and a warrior of the road, so while he seems sleepy at times, these two will make a great partnership. I am excited to have this resource to follow the team.

Serena has made this the best podcast on the Sixers now. It’s well prepared and organized, lively and topically very current and informative.

Really enjoying new host Serena Winters. Losing her from the local broadcast team was tough, so it’s great to hear her daily here. Definitely a much-needed breath of fresh air for this pod. Knowledgable host, nice pace to the show, and great guests so far. Plus, always felt like Serena had a great feel for the pulse of the fanbase and that carries over here.

After two episodes I note that Serena Winters has continued the excellence of the podcast. I have enjoyed her analysis and commentary I’m sure there will be days when she’s struggling to come up with something to say just as Keith Pompeii had problems five days a week having an interesting show. I do have one small quibble. She says “by the way” a lot.

i gotta admit, Keith is an excellent podcaster. he’s like actually pretty bad at the actual podcasting part, but that’s what makes it so good. because it was pretty tough to get through the first few minutes of any podcast. rambling, yawning, questionable sounds. but do you know what’s not tough? not tough at all?

Keith I think you need to have a better plan for your PODs. I know it’s a tough Time of year, but it seems that you are just talking about many obvious things. Also, can you speak louder, I have to turn my radio way up to hear you.

Lowest energy of any locked on podcast I’ve listened to. Also seems like he has no structure to his podcast for the show. Locked on, please get someone new to do this podcast.

Keith Pompey is not a great podcaster. I love the Sixers, but I could not get through any more episodes because he simply sounds like he is reading from a script and the few times he gets something started, he then shoots off three or four ads. I love the team but this podcast is not the one.

Listening to this man is actually prohibited by the Geneva Conventions as a form of cruel and unusual punishment. He should narrate kids nighttime audio books because he’s not only sounds like he’s half asleep himself, but he also makes those unfortunate enough to tune in doze off.

I am a hawks fan but also from having family in Philadelphia I actually am somewhat of a 76ers fan. This is not someone just hating on the 76ers because we are in a series against them. I listen to the locked on hawks pod almost every week and it’s incredible. The host is amazing and just brings a great insight to how the games went beyond what the stats say. It provides a great insight whether I watched the game or not. So I wanted to hear the 76ers insight on the series on how they saw the game going from their point of view and of all the podcast I have ever listened to this might be the worst one I have ever heard. The host seems like he just woke up and forgot about the podcast so I chalked it up to just recording it late after a game and decided to give it another shot. Same thing. It sounds like they just found some guy who likes the 76ers to just read the box score. It literally sounds like a guy who is coaching middle school girls team try to analyze a game. They got the wrong guys and it is embarrassing.

This should be called “the worst Sixers podcast brought to you five days a week...”

Have to turn it up a ton to hear any of what Keith is saying, then get blasted by the ads.

The “in-depth analysis” is extremely poor. The content and perspective on the topics are very vague. Seems like Keith is trying too hard to be objective but not focused on the logistics of X’s and O’s to support the topics. His delivery throughout the podcast has no energy and fails to annunciate effectively so that you can hear him well without turning the volume all the way to maximum capacity. Too much background noises and disturbances make it hard to focus as well. This is a top five market team and the coverage on this podcast is mediocre at best.

Would have been been 5* except very frequent ads are really annoying. Keith must be doing very well.

This podcast needs a jolt. The insights provided are quite pedestrian and obvious. I listen to other Sixers podcast and find they contain a nice mix of both analytical and “general feel” commentary. I think the host goes a little overboard in attempting to seem “objective” in his feedback. We get it. But Please please make improvements or you may continue to get feedback like this from your current and potential customers.

Unprepared, poor production, little-to-no insight. Kind of shocked that this has gone on this long in a market like Philadelphia. They seriously can’t find someone better??

I’ve listened to probably 15 other locked on nba podcast as well as some nfl ones. Pompey is by far the worst host. Not only do I think he’s the worst podcaster on the entire network but dare I say the worst podcaster/host I’ve ever had the displeasure of hearing. Mind you I’M NOT EVEN A SIXERS FAN. He talks so slow, has little knowledge, and as far as I can tell brings on no guest. If I could give this podcast -5 stars I would. Just god awful. David Locke or whoever is involved with finding people to be the host of these podcast please get someone better. 76er fans deserve better than this.

Listen to the pod. You’ll notice the man has difficulty putting together coherent sentences. Basketball IQ as low as any beat reporter out there. Not a good combo
