    Alex is Fantastic!
Alex was a fantastic host and we discussed the blueprint hidden behind all successful communication and different ways to use story selling to enroll clients, or ways to use a book in a marketing funnel that could generate 7 figures

    Great Content uneven Sound
Love the content but they speak in and out/ away of the mic. So the volume varies wildly and it’s hard to listen to via headphones and on a speaker system.

    Great Show
Lance and Alex provide a great perspective on architecture, business and life. I have enjoyed listening to their transformation over the past couple years. They have inspired me to continue to push myself and move from just an architect to architect and builder. Keep up the great works guys, I really appreciate you being so transparent.

    Architecture
The podcast has a good desire to enlighten the public and profession about business of architecture but too much is spent on macroeconomic loose takes and recession projections. The sharp grasp of world economic cycles is not a reason to listen, and I think the show would be improved with a focus on topics inside the architecture business practice.

    Great Interviewer
Lance is an awesome interviewer and his genuine curiosity makes the conversation way better to be part of and to listen to rather than overly scripted conversations heard on a few other podcasts. Great work Lance!

    Just what I needed
Al and Lance do a wonderful job of sharing their knowledge, trials and tribulations, and of course their wins. We need more Architects/designers like them to continue to improve our industry. This podcast is for anyone looking to improve their skills, give their business a boost or perhaps start a new one. Kudos to them for not holding back!

    My favorite podcast!!!
I’ve been trying to find interesting architecture podcasts for the last two years for my two hour commute each day. I stumbled upon this podcast by accident and decided to search through their episodes until I found one that stood out to me. I picked one and after listening I was hooked. I had to go back to the beginning and learn about their story and journey. I was even more excited to hear that Al and Lance (the creators of the podcast) are NDSU grads. I’m an architecture student at NDSU and I make an hour drive one way, every day, to get to school. This podcast has been a lifesaver! You will get great advice and motivation from this podcast whether you are a student, entrepreneur, architect, designer, developer, salesperson, and the list goes on. They are very entertaining and insightful and I highly recommend this podcast. Listening to them and their story makes me proud to be a NDSU student. To Lance and Al. Keep up the great work! In practice and in the podcast. You are very much appreciated among us students and I know by many more. TOOTLES!!

Alex and Lance are the Best
Alex and Lance are so fun to listen to, even if you aren't an Architect. It's like you're having coffee with Entrepreneurs, getting the inside scoop on the world of owning and operating a firm, and getting some solid laughs along the way.

    Great podcast, great insights
I look forward to what Alex and Lance bring to an episode every week. I find myself either nodding in agreement or saying that’s interesting to the points they are making. As an architecture firm owner myself, I can relate to a number of scenarios or ideas that they have or have experienced. Keep up the good work guys.

Real Good: Real Experience, Real Lessons, Real Entertainment
This podcast hit me like a lump of gold falling from the podcast clouds. I'm a construction manager, but am pursuing my masters in architecture and someday would like to work for myself performing design-build work. I went looking for good podcast resources, and these guys are handing out exactly what I was looking for! The guys seem like they'd fit into my crew from college - so relating to them is pretty easy. It is fun to listen to, and there are loads of information to use for guidance in business, architecture & construction in particular. Unbelieveable resource!

    For All Entrepreneurs!
The Inside the Firm podcast gives a transparent look into the day-to-day issues of a growing, forward-thinking architecture firm. Lance and Alex offer a first-hand look into specific issues that any entrepreneur might face - from marketing strategies to communication problems to on-site construction headaches. Most importantly, they take the listener through their journey toward SOLUTIONS to these problems. Complete with witty commentary and even some A.R.E. study sessions, this podcast is hands-down one of the most entertaining and useful business-themed architecture podcasts out there. Their passion for architecture and development, paired with a ‘bootstrap’-approach to entrepreneurship, is inspiring. Keep doing what your doing!

So Grateful for Alex and Lance
I’ve listened to every episode of Inside The Firm multiple times. I don’t know how I found these guys but am so happy I did. They have great energy and continual optimism while giving the world of architecture a much needed presence in the 21st century. I’ll continue to look to them for business wisdom and for their outside of the box thinking. Thank you for sharing Lance and Alex! Never stop!

It's like listening in on their private executive meeting.
With sincere appreciation, I'm sending congratulations to Lance Cayko and Al Gore for sharing their knowledge for 100 episodes at Inside the Firm podcast. Every week, the partners of F9 Productions invite us inside their firm for an honest, transparent look at how they're building their small firm in Longmont, CO. It's like listening in on their private executive meeting, where they hash out ideas, plan strategies and update one another (and us) on the progress (or pitfalls) they are experiencing. And additional congratulations for selling the first unit at their first multi-family residential development project, which they chronical each week as well. Way to go guys!

    Never miss an episode
I never miss an episode of Inside The Firm. I feel like I’m sitting around the office with Al and Lance discussing all the things you learn managing an architectural practice and real estate development firm. I’ve recently started a firm and am also getting involved in development so their shared experiences really ring home. Keep up the great work guys and never quit exploring!

    Two Fools and a Besty
Inside the Firm was touted as just that: a drawing of the curtain and deep dive into the inner workings of an architecture firm...and it does not disappoint. You hear it all the time, “the first one’s a freebie”, “everyone else is doing it”, and “it’ll make you feel good”...now 97 episodes devoured in only 2 months...I’m fricken hooked!!! Whether you like their design sense, business approaches, and management styles or not, the insight and candor is refreshing and inspiring. Each episode is broken down into a few differing segments to offer layers upon layers of enjoyment and pure joy. Sure there’s room for improvement (isn’t that true for us all), but I’ve come to appreciate the imperfections and quarks of each member of the F9 family...and isn’t that what true love really is?!?! So, Al: stay strong with your pushups and interrupting ways. Nick: continue to be WAY too loud with your intro and too soft with the readings. F9 boys (some may be men, but I’m not discerning): continue to struggle with ARE jeopardy. It’ll amaze me if you actually get licensed (but I’ve seen worse). And Lance: you my “boi”. Thanks for the new addiction. Trae

Great array of topics that will provide value from students to partners and everything in between.
Ever since I discovered this podcast I have been hooked! I’m a young architectural associate in the process of getting licensed. Being able to listen in to all these anecdotes, experiences and suggestion has definitely helped me re-fall in love with the profession and take the reins of my career. Listening to the podcast gave me the tools and courage to convince my superiors that our small firm needed a BIM Manager and that I was the person to fill this role. I even got our office manager and one of the partners tuned in and they're also loving it. Lance and Al bring a boost of energy to my mornings, and help jumpstart my brain to destroy the upcoming day. I’m really hoping they release a compendium of all the ARE jeopardies😅 Cheers from Tallahassee florida, Keep up the great work!

    Architecture, Business and... FUN?!
I am really enjoying Lance and Alex's podcast -- I was brought into their orbit from the mention of their Firm in James Petty's Architect & Developer book. The podcast is fantastic. I will tell you why: it is informative ( yay! ) it is brief ( hooray! ) and they keep the subject matter exciting ( woohoo! ) Looking forward to digging further in -- at episode #5 now, and savoring the journey. Sharing this podcast with all of my architecture friends.

Definitely enjoy listening to this podcast for advice and insight into relevant topics. Especially love the ones talking about challenges with the city and how to communicate; a lot of what I’m going through at my firm!

    Incredibly Motivating.
As an emerging professional, I find this podcast incredibly refreshing. They bring up topics in a knowledgeable manner without a sense of intellectual superiority. Their discussions on firm dynamics, interactions with the community and politicians, and their ARE Jeopardy really makes this podcast a gem.

    Great!
Recommended to me by my friend Nick. A college friend of mine and myself have recently set out with the goal of starting our own firm and this has provided valuable insight so far.
