A work of the Holy Spirit
It’s said you become like the people you surround yourself with, and these three women are a great source of spiritual mentorship for those striving for sanctity, and to live in the world but not of it

    Blessed
This podcast has brought so much fruit for my heart and mind. I am so grateful to these beautiful women. A thirst for my faith and truth has been sparked because of this podcast.

    Tone
You’d get five stars but …. Your woe is me tone with comments about how hard January was it not cool. Actually this year has been great …I mean we are getting our country and values back in order. A relief from the state it has been in. That said, suspect you disagree with me and that’s OK. Just wanted to let you know that your audience may have an alternate view.

    Wonderful!
I recently stumbled upon this podcast and have found it enlightening and amazing! I have “binged” many older episodes and have found encouragement, strength and hope. Thank you for your witness!

    Trinity of wisdom
These ladies are like the Holy Trinity. The recipe of these three ladies coming together to showcase God’s love affair with us through their unique and beautiful experiences can only be the work of God. I praise God for the deep wisdom and humility He has imparted on these beautiful ladies. Many times in the midst of the podcast, I had to pause because I was so moved to tears from what God was putting in my heart. I always long for the next episode to drop. May God bless Sister, Heather, Michelle and all those invoked and listening to This Abiding Together podcast.

    Word of the year
My words have built off each other also. Last year my word was “fly” and the scripture was “Fly like a bird to its mountain” from the Psalms. This year I heard “go higher.” And the scripture that came to me was “set your heart on the higher things.” From 2nd Corinthians. And to lift everything in my life higher from ordinary family life to God in prayer. And the other line that came to me with this work was Aslan in the “Last Battle” telling everyone to go higher up and further in. Higher up and deeper in. As roots grow deeper the tree can grow higher. You ladies are wonderful and so glad you answered the call to do this podcast. You have blessed my life in so many ways.

    Wonderful podcast
This podcast is one day a week that I feel like I’m sitting with friends to discuss life, love of God, great books, preparation for holidays and walking through seasons together. They help me to recenter and think deeper.

    Bad Therapy
I’m sure these women are well intentioned but their advice is harmful. This is a product of bad therapy. I would recommend reading Bad Therapy by Abigail Shrier and The Happiness Trap by Russ Harris. Please do not follow the advice of these women. I’m sure they mean well but are a product of having received bad advice themselves.

    This episode hit home
I was introduced to Sr. Miriam at a conference on Healing in Wisconsin several weeks ago. I attended the conference looking for support and healing following the death of my wife in September, 2023. We would have been married 45 years on 5/19. I started listening to the Abiding Together podcast following the conference and have found each episode to be meaningful and deeply enriching. That said, the season ending episode was especially poignant as the personal stories told by Michelle, Heather and Sr. Miriam all spoke to me as someone trying to recover from the loss of a soulmate, finding oneself in very dark places, trying to move forward, etc.. I want to thank you all for sharing your personal faith journeys in such a powerful way. You are truly doing the work of the Holy Spirit.

    Kindred Spirits
Whenever I listen to the podcast, I feel like I’m spending time with dear friends, even though I’ve never met the hosts! This podcast has meant so much to the daily life of my relationship with Jesus, and I am truly grateful for these ladies and their ministry to listeners.

    Perfect timing
It’s always the Holy Spirit guiding me to listen to you guys. The topic and the resources for this episode are forgiveness of oneself and revoking the lies. Thank you! Thank you, Lord, for guiding them and myself. God you are amazing!

This podcast has softened my heart
As a Christian woman whose husband recently announced his desire for our family to join the Catholic Church, this podcast has played a huge part in softening my heart through this transition. All three women bring such different perspectives that truly compliment each other. A wonderful listen that gives fellowship and points you to Christ.

You will love the heart of these women
I’m not Catholic, but I am a Christian. My very best Catholic friend recommended this podcast, and I am so thankful. I feel like I’ve seen into the heart of these women, and what I have seen is very good. God meant for us to live in community. We don’t always have to be physically together to do that, although nothing can replace that. But I truly feel blessed by the content shared on this podcast and the insightful remarks these women share. I’m also blown away by your vulnerability and honesty. I am super excited to attend a conference this fall where Heather will be. Thank you Sister, Michelle & Heather for sharing your love for Christ with us. You are such a blessing to me!!!

    Heartwarming
I heard about this podcast from another one called “poco a poco”. I really enjoy this one too. So much great content here in a short time. It’s condensed! I am also enjoying catching up on the past episodes that I haven’t heard yet. I love having these Jesus loving ladies in my spiritual journey, sharing their wisdom and honesty and real - ness. Thank you for doing this😇we all need this!!
  • DivinePrayer
    Grateful for this group!
Thank you so much for growth in faith. The “realness” of life along with your reflections about what’s going on in it all help me so much and I thank you.

    One of my favorite podcasts
“Abiding Together” is one of my favorite podcasts and I always look forward to new episodes. It definitely goes well with a cup of coffee and is a great way to build community. I love how Heather, Sr Miriam, and Michelle all come together and the Holy Spirit speaks through them so differently. Their ‘yes’ to God is changing lives, one heart at a time; this ministry is a beautiful one. I love the tender-heartedness, vulnerability, and transparency of their faith and discussions about their experiences in their vocations with The Lord. Listening to this podcast has been so fruitful in my spiritual life because I always learn something new. It is my prayer that “Abiding Together” will reach all of the people who need to hear it.♥️

    This podcast mentors me.
This podcast is practically a book that I read and re-read often, such as C. S. Lewis’ books. I have been re-listening to episodes from 2019. Am I the only person doing so? Today, I reflected in my journal about an important lesson I learned from the hosts, especially from Heather: “God, I do not know your ultimate plan for me on this. But can I do the next right thing, even just in the next hour, in the next 20 minutes? Do the next right thing that honors God, that is Godly, that is kind, that is not dictated by an anxious heart.” At the end of my journal entry, I wrote, “Heather, Michelle, and Sister, thank you for the life you are living, the battles you have fought, the lessons you’ve distilled from your wins and losses, and your wisdom to put these lessons into gentle and kinds words that I get to hear…”

    Great listen
I just love your podcast. You all inspire me to get closer to the Lord and learn more about him. I enjoy all the recommendations, the book studies, and just the camaraderie. Thank you for putting this out there for the world to hear.

I stumbled upon this trio a couple of years ago. I truly enjoy Sister Miriam, Michelle and Heather’s insight into our beautiful Catholic Faith. Even if you’re not Catholic, I believe you will get a lot out of their podcast. God has truly Blessed these three ladies.

    God Led Me To You
During one of my darkest moments where I could no longer hang on, I downloaded the Hallow App. In it, they have an option called “Daily Devotional” that left me thirsting for more. Upon hearing your beautiful opening that includes “Welcome Home”, I cried like I hadn’t cried before because I felt those words. At that moment, I knew what I needed was “Home” and I haven’t turned back since. I look forward to and get excited about a new episode every Monday because it feels like I am sitting around a coffee table with girlfriends who are bringing me closer to Christ. Thank you Sister Miriam, Ms. Benzinger, and Ms. Khym for your vulnerability in sharing life stories, for sharing your “1 things”, for reminding me that God knows exactly where I am and His love will never fail. Since today you all shared your Word of the Year, I’d like to share mine: Revival After Survival. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ladies!!

    Fantastic!
This podcast is fantastic in so many ways. These women are phenomenal but real and relatable. This podcast has had so many tie ins and revelations in my life which I attribute all to the Holy Spirit. Thank you for all you do and please keep up the fantastic work. I also love the “one thing” and the end of each episode. You women are the best ❤️

The Holy Spirit led me to this podcast
I feel loved after listening to each and every episode and I want to give more love after each and every episode. I am inspired by their devotion to the Lord, devotion to their families, devotion to their faith communities, and devotion to the Catholic Church. There is a saying, “if you want what they have, you do what they do.” Well, I want what they have (faith, peace, connection, courage, love), so I’m going to (try to) do what they do. Thank you all so much. You’ve changed my life.

Changing the Way I Live My Faith Out
If you haven’t started listening to the “Abiding Together Podcast” 😳 - what have you been doing?? You are missing out on three beautifully humble ladies who love the Lord and seek His voice for their lives. This podcast literally has changed my life. I share this reel because this quote comes from the very first episode. I would say it’s the quote that started it all (along with coffee 😉) even though they may not realize it. Each episode has reverently invited this quote to come alive! They have gathered the women to come together and they are changing the landscape of the world one woman at a time. For those of us on the other side of the podcast ~ it is an invitation to dig deep into our own wounds, our faith and our relationship with the Holy Trinity. (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) As someone who isn’t a practicing Catholic (I feel very welcomed) - I have notice there is such a beautiful reverence for the Trinity, the Church, Mother Mary, the Rosary and the Sacraments. The way they share about their faith and belief it makes a non-Catholic intrigued about the ways in which they do Church and how being a Catholic is truly about the expression of surrender, love and forming a rhythm that allows one to walk their faith out in every aspect of their daily life. . . You three are a force to be reckoned with. And I mean that in such a way that says, surrendering to the Lords power and allowing the Holy Spirit to come in and move, breathe and have HIS WAY in the podcast. It’s also been nice to watch and hear you three grow even closer to one another as friends, throughout the seasons. It’s a testimony of true friendship. Again, THANK YOU! Each podcast episode has just overwhelmed my heart and soul in such amazing ways! I know I have become a better woman - for myself, for my family and for my community because of the content you offer. Yours Truly, Sofia

Wish I could give more stars
Love love love this podcast!!! Highly recommend. If you want to hear authentic Catholic women living their faith and being REAL about life, struggles, highs and lows and how God works through all of this.. look no further!!! I’ve been a listener for years and always share this podcast with my friends. Hope to have you ladies for more seasons to come. Thank you for you yes to Christ & being so open and vulnerable. God bless you all in abundance.

    Thank you
I appreciate the candid conversations, the constant return to Jesus, and the connections as sisters in Christ. Also, please, please, please do a podcast or an entire series on hormonal changes during peri-menopause 🤍I would sincerely be grateful for a conversation or deep dove surrounding this topic as I wasn’t able to experience the women older than me (e.g. my mother) in my life go through the process.

    These women!
These women and the wisdom they so openly share has changed my life and deepened my faith profoundly. I listen to them on walks and then jus turn the phone off and reflect on all of the deep, insightful things that relate to my life. They are open, honest and vulnerable - I have moments where I think “I can’t believe these women have these issues or problems or struggles too!!!” It’s so comforting and hopeful. Thank you, ladies. I appreciate this podcast so much.

    Through marriage and motherhood
This podcast has guided and become my safe haven into marriage and motherhood. There were times when I felt so alone and this podcast gave me life. The ladies reminded me of Jesus’ love for me and I am so grateful. I love you ladies. Thank you for creating something so beautiful for your listeners.

Thank you all for sharing your stories with us. I was impacted today when I heard that sister Miriam’s mother had a one-one-one with mother Mary out of frustration. My son is only 10 and I have fasted for him for over a year, while I have seen some measurable change, I can still find myself frustrated with his behavior at times. Thank you for the reminder to have a one-on-one with our blessed mother and ask for her help. Thank you again for all the time and effort you put into this podcast.

Speaks into the depth of my Heart
Was copied on a text from some dear friends. I finally got around to listening today. Wow!! The discussion and honesty of these women and their insight into faith touched deep into the recesses of my heart. Giving me a different perspective of how I live and act; giving me some things to contemplate and pray on. I plan to be listening to many more of their discussions or podcasts.

    Nourishes My Soul
I get the sense that I’m a guest, sitting at the table. It gives me a sense of community, as I listen in on their intimate conversations. I love feeling like I’m somehow an active participant, though I’m only listening. They always leave with me something to ponder, as they dive deep into spiritual truths that affect our daily lives.

    Extremely Relatable
Love these 3 women. As a stay at home mom of 2, these 3 women feel like my friends. I love listening to their conversations!

    First time listener
I just finished listening to the first episode. And one of y’all mentioned going to a bethel worship. I’m from Redding California so I know a lot about them. I was honestly shocked to hear that you enjoyed it. That church is honestly scary. The music and the constant wild blasphemous things that they say and what they believe about god. It’s very off putting hearing you speak highly of them.

Where Have You Been All My Life?
Sr. Miriam, Heather and Michelle - I am embarrassed to admit that I just listened for the first time to one of your podcasts. I am currently taking a college theology course, and part of the assignment was to listen to your S05 Episode 16: Divine Mercy podcast. I had to listen twice because what you all said, in combination, burst wide open my heart! The Holy Spirit, working through each of you beautiful people, pierced my core. I cannot thank you enough for being so generous in sharing your passion, your love for Jesus, along with the love, support, and humor that is palpable between you three. You made me feel like I was right there with you. I’m hooked. I’m now subscribed in through Apple Podcasts, and I can’t wait to journey more with you all and eventually catch up! Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing this and for encouraging us all to keep on trusting in Jesus!! Peace to you!! — Maggie E.
