Loyno grad studentThoughtful and science basedToo much information in the homebrew world is based on dogma and hearsay. Brulosophy puts it to the test. Nothing is sacred because everything needs to stand on its own merits. Great methodology and a fun crew.

molton16Great variety, information, and entertainmentBrulosophy has become my top podcast for commutes, yard work, and brew day. I’m quickly making my way through the back catalog, and enjoy that there are several different show types (Q&A, experiments, short and shoddy). Short and shoddy is a particular favorite as I have twin 1 year olds and need to make my brew days efficient and quick!

Bob LibCan’t stop listening even though I am not brewing nowMarshal and team. Great work. Informative and entertaining. More average brew reviews.

BigDaddyWizThe best home brewing podcast.I have been listening for several years now and it is about time to give it a 5 star rating. I love thoughtful nature that Marshall uses in discussing homebrewing. No grandiose statements, no proclamations of dogmatic ideals. Common sense discussions of a hobby and a fermented beverage.

I Don’t Think So TimGreat ShowQuality content, interesting hosts/contributors and good format make this podcast one that I always look for when I need to turn off the radio and “think beer.”

atypicalperceptionExactly what I was looking forThanks guys. Loved 248. Was recommended by someone on a forum. Nailed it. Really fun to listen to even though I’m not a brewer. Well done. Charming hosts.

Rpwallace1You should already be subscribedSometimes I close my eyes while listening. I like to pretend Marshall is my friend and he is sitting right beside me. Oh man do we have fun. We just geek out all all things homebrew and beer and pizza related. Then every fall season we go apple picking and visit our nearest pumpkin patch. Marshall is always looking for the perfect pumpkin while I just like to get a nice assortment of gourds to display in the house.

EdwinBercawBest brewing podcastInteresting, practical information and I love the experiments. Thank you!
-
Eddman89Perfect show for all skill levelsThis show helped me make more sense of John Palmer's most recent publication of How to Brew and has me rereading it to better understand brewing techniques and practices. Love this show and can't say enough good things about it!
-
SONICastAmazing podcast packed with home brewing knowledgeI’ve listened to a bunch of different podcasts about beer and home brewing, and this is the best one by far. Brülosophy knocks it out of the park with informative and entertaining discussions about all things related to the beverage we love. Marshall and his highly educated Team cover all topics from brewing techniques, to packaging/kegging, to different beer styles, recipe creation, naming your beer, and everything in between. I’ve become a better home brewer just by listening! #rad

KeyserVillainMust Listen for All Beer LoversI found Marshall and his crew a little over a year ago and have been obsessed with the show ever since. Great weekly topics have advanced my knowledge base about brewing and have further fueled the fire to continue with this fantastic hobby, and it has been great to get perspectives of different members of the crew, as well as other listeners during the Bru and A episodes. Thank you all for the great content, it’s lord appreciated than you know.

Andrew HodEvery Question AnsweredIf you’re new to home brewing this is the podcast for you. I have been brewing for about 6 months now and listening for about a year. As we all know when you’re starting out home brewing you have 1000 questions. After a few batches under your belt you have 1000 more questions. These guys answer all the questions you have and likely all the questions you will have in the future. I love the Short and Shody episodes, the exbeeriment episodes are always interesting and the bru reviews are hilarious (great group of guys doing the reviews). Keep up the great work and hope to keep listening for years to come!
-
BlakensjGreat PodcastReally enjoy listening to Brulosophy, particularly the short and shoddy episodes. Gives a great overview of different styles and their background and provides good motivation and inspiration for future brews.
-
DavwhigBest Brewing PodcastI love this show! They really try to push the limit on conventional brewing and I have definitely changed a few things during my brew day that have really saved me time and money. The short and shorty episodes actually helped me study for my BJCP exam since they go over the classic style at the beginning of the episode.
-
RbkohnInformative and entertainingFantastic show! Been listening from the beginning and I can say the content has made me a better brewer. I can’t how many times I’ve referenced your website and podcast for inspiration and information. Keep up the great work! Cheers!

Alex Shanks-AbelThere's No Better Podcast Featuring MarshallThis is one of the podcasts I load up in the car when doing long road trips. The last few drives, my spouse has given me crap for not ever leaving a review even after listening to this show since its inception, so here it is! If you read the articles, you know Marshall and friends make the science of homebrewing friendly and unpretentious. This podcast is similarly approachable with top tier production quality. My spouse and I are both podcast fiends, but neither of us know another podcast host featuring such a buttery microphone from episode 1. And it's low-key Basic Brewing levels of wholesome. If James Spencer is the dad of brewing podcasts, Marshall is the sweet older brother. Love you guys! Congrats on finally reaching 1000 reviews!

Ryan "Big Pop" HansenIncredible show!I learned everything I know about brewing from Brülosophy- started listening before I bought my first setup and never stopped listening!
-
nanobrauExcellent PodcastThe perfect mix of tips, tricks, experiments, brewer’s lore, industry happenings, stories, and how to have fun while brewing. Brulosophy is so well put together that I find myself enjoying even the episodes that have uninteresting sounding titles. I try my best to not judge these episodes by their covers because I’m always impressed and come away learning something new. I’ve only recently become a Brulosophy patron, but have been a fan of your work for years now. Keep up the good work.

paddy OHighlight of the weekI have learned and chuckled so much listening to Marshall and the evolving crew. I was all in with Jersey and Tim. Keep it up!
-
Randy 246Great show! It's great to be able to listen about homebrewing and relax when I get tired of, or depressed when, listening to my news podcast.

Ed the JediBest Brewing Podcast Bar None!If you are brand new to home brewing and beer, Marshall and crew take the time to educate and entertain, drawing you further into the hobby. If you are a seasoned brewer who has seen and done it all, Marshall and crew take existing “canon” and put things to the test to help you decide your best way to work with a new ingredient, modify a technique, dial in a recipe, hit a style, or make it your own. Good group of people, fun loving, knowledgeable, never condescending and always good for a chuckle, this podcast is one of the highlights of my beer week and a fountain of ideas for future projects!
-
Wood2395Brulosophy PodMarshall and the gang provide an engaging and informative weekly hour or more of musings on all things beer. Whether it be techniques to radically shorten your brew day, tasting listener submitted beers by style, Q

RicharddrumGreat show Great ideasI’ve been listing for a few years now: the depth of knowledge Marshall and the crew provide is staggering. So many great ideas. I especially appreciate logical and time saving approaches to procedures. I’ve brewed many Short and Shoddy batches with success. The American Light Lager was amazing. Friends couldn’t believe it was home brew! Thank guys!- and gals too!
-
Patrick from KCAwesome showI’ve been listening since episode 1 was released. A great all around show that touches on every topic a home brewer might encounter.
-
Stevarino514Best Homebrewing PodcastI’ve followed this show for four years now, and find that it has the best production quality and diversity of topics over any other home brewing show. Marshall and his crew keep the topics interesting and the format fun. Nearly every episode draws me in—and I cannot say that about basically any other podcast. Keep it up! Cheers.

Will AnyoneRad!Still the RADDEST beer podcast out there. Really enjoying some of the beer review podcasts, especially the Brü Club reviews.
-
SoAZMedicGreat structure!Brülosophy has such great structure to each episode. Many other podcasts are all over the place. It’s refreshing to listen to a podcast with a clear direction and goal for each and every episode! Cheers gents! 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼

CinlaliAl L. Great show! ThanksI started brewing during the pandemic after reading a book on the history of beer. Enjoyed delivering home brews to friends that were not getting together. Listen to every episode. Fun group of guys and good information for someone taking on the hobby
-
PT7557Great infoStarted homebrewing in ‘21 and like to listen to the show as I drive or am doing things around the house. The topics covered have helped me zero in on things like fermentation temp control and reducing cold side oxidation to improve my beer.
-
Fox WalkMy FavoriteMy favorite brewing podcast.
-
HornetmechGreat jobI’ve listened to every single episode. Some probably twice.
-
OgSeniorFrogTextbook brewing podcast.I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts so #1 plus of the show is the sound quality, and cadence of the hosts is top notch. When speaking there is no awkward pauses or volume problems. Other than that there is a vast amount of information here so a first time brewer could probably get away with this podcast being a primary go to for most styles.
-
Dizzydevi1Fun and learning at the same timeA great podcast that is fun to listen to. I’ve learned so much from them that I became a Patreon.

CBeck92A Must for the Curious Brewer!Brülosophy is an absolutely essential podcast and resource for any home brewer out there looking to experiment and push the boundaries of your normal brew day. Most of us don’t have either the time or resources to dedicate to the extensive experimentation that the Brü crew does and taking advantage of those results gives us all a leg up in our own brewing. Whether or not you choose to adopt any of the methods established or put any of the data gathered to use, it is still worth listening if only to enjoy exploring the hobby from different perspectives. Break out your equipment, pour yourself a ping, throw on an episode, and enjoy!
-
erin_blaseGreat podLove the info guys!

edn29I’ve spent way too much time with MarshallOk I’m one of the guys who has never wrote a review and I’ve listened to every one! Honestly it was hard to find how to do it! Anyway it’s easy to say good things . It is crazy to think that I’ve spent over 260 hours with Marshall and friends. I know him so well and he has no idea who I am!! The podcast is fun, informative, and you know what you are going to get. The content is efficient and high yield and very useful for any level of homebrewer but probably best for someone who loves to geek out and is doing all grain. It has really impacted how I brew and keeps my mind open to new things. The actual podcast is high quality and well organized. It’s clearly well planned ahead of time. I know Marshall gets a lot of hate for “preaching” which I don’t understand at all. It is quite the opposite. It’s just data. Do with it what you will. I look forward to the podcast every week. I enjoy the variety of episodes. I would urge everyone to support on Patreon. Good content is hard to find. Please keep it up Marshall and friends. You guys are how I keep up with trends and stuff. It’s the only podcast I listen to every week! THANK YOU!!!
-
D. Johnston2Great podcastI love this podcast! They are always stretching my understanding of what is “normal” in brewing. I have learned a ton and I brew with so much more confidence, not so worried that any moment I might mess it up by not follow the rules of brewing. Thanks guys!
-
TomT914Awesome listen for advanced/ beginner homebrewersStrangely enough 70,163.4 Jerseys isn’t an option for rating the show but I think that equates to 5 stars.

RaceBanReview button at bottom of page I never go toI like trying to find tricks to improve my process and results

DariusTheMedeChanged my homebrew gameOnce I initially discovered the Brülosophy podcast, I went back and listened to all of the past episodes in between each weekly release until I was caught up. These guys are entertaining and insightful. Their exbeeriments have taught me that most of the stuff I used to stress about in the homebrew process will not affect flavor perception, anyway. This has allowed my to relax and made my brewdays more enjoyable. Their anti-beersnob attitude has also rubbed off on me, enabling me to enjoy an occasional American Light Lager. This is my favorite podcast. Great listening for any homebrewer!
-
CNY MikeSA great podcast for any home brewer.I Have learned so much over the years from Marshall and the rest of the Brulosophy crew. The format and professional quality of the show makes me look forward to listening every week. Especially have liked many of the “Exbeeriments.” Great to see the impact or non impact of the variable in each experiment. These have helped me what to focus on or not to worry about when home brewing.
-
Airborneguy8Worth the marathon!I’ve only recently returned to the hobby. I’ve found Brulosophy to be an invaluable podcast to not only brush up but learn more about this great hobby. So much so that I’ve listened to the entire back catalog in only 2 months! You’ve definitely earned my support on patreon.
-
JoRo05One of the best homebrew podcastsI’ve been home brewing for over 5 years and this podcast is very helpful. I do miss the one minute beer review with Jersey and Tim but still enjoy listening!
-
Trapshooter31Every Brewing Topic Advanced or BeginnerJust over a year ago I decided to try brewing. Bought an extract kit, made beer, fell in love. This podcast has taken me from “what’s malt extract?” to rockin out dozens of all grain BIAB batches. Most of the intricacies of brewing I have picked up here. If you are even just interested in getting into brewing, find an interesting episode here and listen to it. Marshal rocks!
-
ToeNee11Motivating, inspiring, wealth of knowledgeI’ve been an avid listener of this podcast for the last year or so and have thoroughly enjoy everything it has to offer. Marshall and the contributors are super knowledgeable and I appreciate all of the honest advice and suggestions. I am the president of my local homebrew club and have passed along a lot of the items I’ve picked up listening to this podcast.
-
btlinderGreat showOk episode 267 shamed me into providing a review as one of the 6000 iPhone users. Great show y’all.
-
Cr4n3umTop QualityI’ve listened to many podcasts over the years but rarely regularly unless the content is engaging and the recording is good. This one fits my criteria for a well produced specialty podcast. Keep up the great work!
