    Respect "going dark"
I think social media is bonkers for our brains nowadays and I am glad that the main host is at least trying to reright the ship on this issue. I am sure ratings have went down, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I appreciate the work you do!

    Volume
I never write reviews, but I have to bring this to someone’s attention at the Body of Knowledge. Please work on the sound production for the next episode. I listen to your podcasts on my commute and I love the content, especially what you’re digging into in this new season, but I can’t hear what is being said most of the time. The sound on episode 1 was barely audible to the point where I had to turn the volume almost all the way up and then nearly blew out my speakers once the intro started. Episode 2 was constantly going up and down which leads me to believe it could be a microphone issue? I don’t know and I don’t want to assume. I really enjoy the podcast and the content. I get a lot out of it and I love that you’re bringing attention to the detrimental effects of overusing social media. But it is difficult to listen to when I have to constantly turn the volume up and down just to hear what you are saying.

Fundamental podcast for a Human Movement aficionados
I am a personal trainer with Equinox Fitness clubs and I recommend this podcast to all of my colleagues and clients. I had the pleasure of graduating from CSUF in Kinesiology with an emphasis in clinical exercise, interned at the center for successful aging (gerokinesiology) and received my CSCS because of the learning experience Lee Brown provided for me @ CSUF. Those people know what they are doing and Andy has that same blood running through him. Andy has a real passion for science and human performance and it comes across as you listen to him speak. Kenny really understands what it’s like to work with everyday people and be out in the “field.” These guys are multi-talented, science based, real world oriented dudes and in a world where social media affects our movement behavior it is refreshing to see these guys keep it real. Keep up the grate work. People are listening!

    Clinicians must hear
Hard to say anything bad about this podcast. Very thought provoking, well produced, and many of the topic that interest me as a person who work in an industry helping other people recover from aches and pains. Thanks Kenny and Andy!

    Essential Listening
I’m sure many of the other reviews will say the same thing but that’s because the podcast is simply that good. It’s incredibly eye opening in the wide variety of topics discussed throughout each momentous episode. Regardless of your goals in life (fitness, nutrition, career) there are many different paths to get there and this podcast eliminates some of uncertainty and confusion to help you see what path you’re going to take. I love what they’re doing and I cannot wait to see where they’re going to take it.

    Just Brilliant!
I stumbled onto the Body of Knowledge after learning who Brett Bartholomew was and saw he was on the podcast. After listening I had to go back and start from the beginning. Been a huge fan ever since! Thank you for producing such quality content of an academic and human nature. As a physical therapist, I strive to do much of what you guys talk about by developing my craft and just helping people be better, move better, and live better. Your genuine desire to help people is evident throughout each episode and volume. Please keep producing this gold mine of content! Hoping to attend a Craftsman workshop in the future! Love you guys!

    Constructive Feedback
Guys, Thank you very much for crafting this platform to share ideas and steer the conversation. I think you are on the right track with the contextual approach, and you did a decent job of framing the intent of your show in Volume I. The only input I would like to share, other than “keep up your horsepower, it’s working”, is to mirror Josh’s comment in the “Mental Skills” episode that the common problem with such high philosophical messages is that they do not offer actionable, tangible steps. You could do a little more in this area, in my humble opinion. However, I do recognize that you don’t want to come off as having all the answers - and that prescribing things is a larger responsibility but maybe there is a balance where you could give out more actionable things for the listeners. Thanks again. Love and Respect, Josh

Best Perspectives in the Fitness Space
This podcast is an authentic alternative to so much noise that occurs around the fitness market. The host don’t sidestep difficult conversation and don’t pretend to have all the answers. They are here to here to help people.

    EXCELLENT Podcast
As an engineering PhD student, I really appreciate the scientific insight into the process behind nutrition and exercise. It has helped me to improve my own scientific philosophy and become more invested in living a healthy lifestyle. I’m begging for a season 3 covering the more technical content of lifting and eating properly- PLEASE bring it back ASAP!

    Great podcast!
Love the information being put out! Keep it up!

    Wonderful insights always!
I always learn something unique and I always laugh at some point. Each of the hosts has uniquely interesting points of view and the topics covered go well beyond the surface. Fantastic guests who are brilliant and usually someone I haven’t heard of. Love that! Super work, fellas!

    Love this!
I've listened to all but the last episode of this podcast and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The variety of guests and the knowledge, humor, and real-life stories they've shared about their experiences have kept me coming back again and again. What I appreciate most is that Andy, Kenny, and Josh are bringing their expertise and experiences to talk about fitness, nutrition, and health and at the same time, admit that they don't know everything, they are constant learners, and let the listeners know that they, too, have screwed up. That level of authenticity and vulnerability along with their banter/humor is what allows them to relate to all of us who keep listening. Thanks for a great podcast!

    Love this show
I first heard Dr. Galpin on Jay Ferruggia’s podcast, and immediately came here to learn more. Listening to you gents has become one of my favorite hours of the week. As a pastor (student of human nature) and newbie strength trainee, I’ve learned a great deal from you. Hopeful for Volume 3.

    Knowledge on top of knowledge
I’ve learned so much about the fitness industry just from listening to these guys. My high school cross country coach recommended this series to me because I’m majoring in kinesiology and I can’t be more grateful. The questions raised throughout volume one to challenge our assumptions about the fitness industry show a new depth of understanding of how PEOPLE operate. Keep doing what you’re doing Kenny, Josh, and Andy. Your work is hugely appreciated!

    The only podcast I recommend
There are many great podcasts with good information. Most are done on a weekly basis and for that there are some dude that come out. The Body of Knowledge does not have this problem since they produce seasonly the quality of each podcast is top notch. Andy, Kenny and Josh are not only super knowledgeable in their fields but also incredibly funny and charismatic. My only complaint is that they do not have merch yet.

    Review of volume 1
I found the podcast when looking for more info from Dr Galpin’s website. 4 years ago I began a crazy journey to transform my body and my life. I knew almost nothing about nutrition or exercise and had never stepped foot in a gym. Long story short, I went from a 260lb obese sedentary woman to loosing over 100lb and being able to do things beyond my wildest dreams: heavy lifting, pull-ups, 5k’s, visible abs, etc. I did it all by myself, following breadcrumbs of information from one source to the next, trying to make sense of it all and testing things out. I have learned so much along this journey and listening to this podcast is helping me understand what I accomplished at a more conceptual level, giving me a more broad perspective. Some of the episodes were particularly relevant for me and I often felt like you guys were reading my mind and addressing all my questions and concerns. Dr Galpin, you never cease to blow my mind with your stories and clear descriptions. Kenny was an excellent surprise since I wasn’t very familiar with his background and I’m a big fan now. Congratulations to the producer because I felt he played a very important role in asking the sort of questions I would, and spinning things in an approachable manner. Keep up the good work!

    The forest and the trees
After years of listening to health/fitness podcasts, reading countless blog posts, articles, and reports I can safely say that this show is my favorite. These gentlemen are continuing the grassroots effort to change society from affluent disease to a one that can truly thrive. There is no dogma. There are no gimmicks. There aren’t empty promises and cheap tricks to “success”. There is an incredibly broad and deep understanding of how the scientific details relate to actionable processes for clients, coaches, athletes, and most importantly, the modern human. Subscribe, download, and if you want to fully absorb all of the information - listen to all the shows multiple times.

This guys are just out of this world. Their voices are great smart informative and funny and so much wisdom it blows my mind. Great show!
These guys have so much knowledge and wisdom within the health and fitness industry. The podcast itself revolves around health and fitness, but they add in so much of their life experiences that anyone can relate to. I’m strongly considering attending CSUF now to try to get to work with the great and powerful Andy Galpin.

    A gift
This is the first time I’ve rated a podcast and am horrified because I think I just mistakenly submitted 2 low-starred reviews. It is in fact a 5+ star podcast. It is a generous, heartfelt and super smart gift. As such, I hope it gets a huge audience. (And that those mistake ratings are deleted 🙏)

It’s knowledge madness! Scream if you like knowledge!
I can’t recommend this podcast enough. I’ve been training for over thirty years, and I still listened to several episodes twice. I would text my wife highlights, so I wouldn’t forget them and to spark conversation when I would get home. The knowledge madness was that good. I’m really looking forward to more. Keep up the great work guys, you are making a difference.

Knowledgeable guys talking about what they know.
It was a great podcast. I heard Dr. Galpin on Joe Rogan recently and loved listening to him talk about the science of training. Super knowledgeable. Anyway, that led me back to his podcast so I binged listened to the whole season. Kenny, Andy, and Josh are great with one another and the guests they had were varied and knew their stuff. If you have a desire to be a coach, you need to listen to this. If you love learning stuff about bodily functions and how we as humans work, you need to listen to this. Super jazzed for Volume 2 when it comes. Keep up the great work guys!

Inspiration for Thought Leaders and Average Folks
I have experience in the clinical research world and in the fitness industry. This podcast is created in a smart way that navigates somewhere in the middle of this space. Funny at some times, insightful and though provoking in other moments. I was very impressed by the segments that presented a brief (but fully researched) synopsis of the most important research, and the "players" who have made significant impact (bad or good) on the fitness industry as it stands today. Looking forward to the next installation!

I can not thank these guys enough for this excellent podcast. I am big fans of Kenny Kane and Dr Galpin. I enjoy Dr Galpin's honesty and willingness to admit that he could be wrong and things change... I have used information provided by Dr. Galpin and Brian Mackenzie to greatly improve my personal health and fitness. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested in being on the cutting edge of human science and performance. Also check out Dr Galpins Instagram... Great series guys and I can not wait for season 2.
