Kara, I’m so happy I found your podcast. The first one I listened to was with Tim Gunn. Love him! I feel like I’m therapy while I listen. Thank you so much! Joy

This is a “go to” for my interviews with unique perspectives. The subjects are not there to promote something so you get an interesting, almost conversational interview. I’ve enjoyed listening to people I know nothing about.

I was amazed at what Tim revealed and could have listened to this go on even longer! I’m laughing how Tim was sort of dissing Heidi but now he’s doing Making the Cut with her. Wonder how she feels about what he said about her in 2017? Never heard in interview where someone revealed what he thought about people he worked with when he was still working with them. He needed to vent and didn’t care!

The Louie Anderson interviews are really, really good. I’m just getting in to her work, and I’m excited. ☮️❤️

I really dig what Kara is doing. So many times interviewers don’t dig deep and ask questions that are typical. Kara let’s the guest put their hair down and breaks down the celebrity shell and let’s them be human. Keep pushing Kara.

One interview with Debi Mazar was highly entertaining. The second made me stop listening and hit delete, for the first time ever on this podcast, which I typically enjoy. Generally, it’s only as good as the guest.

I veered from my typical podcasts to Really Famous, lured by a couple of specific celebrity names and open to trying a new show. I barely made it through either pod, the host sounds so unspeakably dumb. No idea who Kara is or what credentials she feels she has to offer, but her unbidden offers of “reading” her guests as a “former therapist” is cringeworthy. Her contributions to a celeb story amount to, “~soo~ awesome!” and “~so~ interesting!” - and the last pod I suffered through, she asked her guest how to find something he mentioned, not at all esoteric content, on YouTube. (His kind answer: you look it up on YouTube.) Dumb, just dumb. Skip this one. It’s like a bad SNL skit.

Nice flow to your podcast interviews. Easy going and comfortable. Good job!

She has such great guests and let’s them speak. Excellent show.

When you have not so smart or deep interviewees like Tara Reid, you have to learn how to draw out relevant, interesting info. The fact that she cleans her own house, has two dogs and loves chicken isn’t interesting content. This was Tara’s oppty to tell people who she is since it’s been a long time since she’s been relevant. And she didn’t use it at all. But the questions directed at her weren’t compelling to give her an oppty to say anything interesting about herself.

Disingenuous and self-important

I welcome Kara’s ‘warts and all’ approach to her interviews. She chooses such an interesting array of celebrities that allow you to discover facts and points of interest. It always leaves me with gratitude that I trusted her to introduce us to someone we might not obviously pursue. If you’re looking for tricked up polish and editing..this isn’t for you. This is a rare gem that allows us to see facets of celebrities that are sometimes relaxed, and sometimes very vulnerable! Bravo!! We need the real!!

I found this podcast by accident and now I’m hooked! Each episode I feel like I’m sitting at a table with Kara and whoever she is taking to and I’m just listening and taking it all in! Love it! I follow up on a lot of the hidden gems Kara or the guest mentions and that’s been really amazing too! Keep up the great work!

I think the shopkeeper was a fan of John Ritter and that one encounter made him think Jason wasn’t as nice a person. I don’t think it was that odd a thing to say.

Listened to a few of them, and I really enjoyed it! You find out things you wouldn’t normally hear during an interview, which I liked.

This is the worst interviewer I have ever heard. 3 minutes in I had to turn it off.

The Rapaport episode ruined the podcast for me. Can no longer listen to anything and show can’t claim celebrity guests after that piece of garbage.

I ran into this podcast thru a tv show fan group on Facebook as one of the actors was being interviewed. I found a lot of other celebrities that I admire as well and became a huge fan! Kara does a great job asking questions fans would be curious about in a very respectful and organic way that makes this show very enjoyable! I’m not the kind of person that will do reviews often unless I really believe in something.

As a fellow podcaster I’m always looking to learn, grow and develop my technique. This is all of that and above. The way she talks and interacts with her guests is the best. Looking forward to more! So fun! Love it!

As both a fan and a podcaster, I am constantly amazed at the deft interviews that Kara conducts. She really helps make her celebrity guests relatable.

Listening to this podcast is a little bit like eavesdropping on a very interesting conversation! I came for the celebrity appeal, but ended up feeling like I really got to know more about the person as a real human rather than due to their celebrity status. Keepin’ it real!

I recently discovered this hidden gem of a podcast. The host, Kara, does a great job of getting her guests to feel comfortable and to dish! The Tim Gunn interviews are classic. It’s as if they just came over to sit on her coach and spill. Such fun!

So good! I loved hearing the emotion in her voice. And Kara is so good at letting that happen - everyone seems so comfortable talking with her. One of my fave podcasts!

So far I've listened to the Zoe Lister-Jones and Michael McKean episodes, and they were lots of fun! The host seems to stay away from the "interview circuit" type questions and the guests really seem to open up because of that. Looking forward to who's coming up in future episodes!

This interview with Tim Daly is one of my favorite podcasts that I've listened to. I enjoyed hearing about his early life and about the experiences that made him what he is today. We all know Tim Daly the actor, and I enjoyed learning more about Tim Daly the person.

I have only just subscribed and listened to the first podcast with Tim Gunn. I loved it so much I listened to it twice and saved it in my downloads! It was just so real life and special. My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough! ;)

Kara has a way to really connect with who she is speaking with. She takes her listeners on a journey that is enjoyable and very real. Can't wait to hear more!
