Jaljohn9All Star PodcastDoc and Richard somehow find a way to make the nerdiest information easily digestible. The humor and running bits keep you coming back for more.

Major Flying Impulse MajorPerfection. And it was free, Barry…If you’re seeking a masterclass in all things DC comics, as well as a podcast you can listen to while shuffling about your everyday menial tasks, welcome to the most underrated goldmine of comics knowledge of all time. I unearthed this podcast about a year ago, and since then, I’ve yet to discover another podcast with the same effortless flow and improvisational genius of the Doc and Producer Richard. The banter is stupid fantastic (heinously crass at times, but, y’know, all in good fun) and every episode feels like you’ve got a couple friends happily arguing in the backseat of your car. Once you enter the Doctor DC orbit, you never go back. 5 out of 5 capes.

Hansolocup92⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Been listening for a couple years or so, and this is easily my favorite comics podcast! I listen at work a lot to give myself some giggles and break up my boring days. Thank you guys!
-
berniesbcPretty good!!Like another guy, I started listening based on an Alex Jaffe recommendation. I started listening at the beginning, which I tend to do, and in the first handful of episodes, one of the guy is doing this evil comedy character that kind of didn’t work. Thankfully, that stopped pretty quickly. Now I’m around episode 90 and the show is just terrific. The Doctor has kind of a crazy encyclopedic knowledge of the subject matter, and these guys are genuinely pretty funny. It has become a staple podcast for when I otherwise am not sure what else to listen to.

Joezilla23Great Show!Started listening based on a recommendation by Alex Jaffe. I’ve been a DC fan since I was a kid but usually stuck to the big 3 (Batman, Superman, and Booster Gold). I’m really enjoying getting more in the weeds with other characters/ events! Thanks for the laughs and knowledge.
-
DragonofgrassGreat podcastI had been looking for a new podcast to listen to while at work, and this one has single handily made my closing shifts at work so much better. The humor is top tier and the Doc always provided insightful information :3 !
-
DracofollyFavorite comic podcast.Funniest podcast in Canada! Love listening to these guys. It’s also nice to here a podcast that’s not just not just jaded creatives mad they’re not working in their industry.
-
Nightwing Enjoyer5/5 Capes!I just discovered this podcast a little over a month ago and now I’ve listened to nearly every episode! Reid and Richard are two extremely knowledgeable and entertaining guys and I’m grateful to them for putting this out every week. - Nightwing Enjoyer, Enjoyer of this podcast as well.

Zula666MA HUNKEL DESERVES RESPECTFirst off I would like to say that this is hands down the best comic book podcast. I came for the content but stayed for the hosts. I’ve also become a fan of Ghostfacers, and have been prompted to rewatch Supernatural because of it. The guys have an amazing chemistry that is unmatched by any other podcast hosts, without doubt. However, I just listened to the Docmas from this past year and there was a HUGE misrepresentation. MA HUNKEL COOKS THE BEST COOKIES OUT OF ANY SUPERHERO. She went from superhero to super housekeeper for the JSA. Also, listening to Marvel steals from DC as writing and have to say, If you ever need a true Marvel expert, or perhaps what one might even call Doctor Marvel, ring ring the doxphone is ringing. But no seriously, this really is the best comic book podcast and they make my job a whole lot easier. I work from my car and in every episode I listen to, I feel like I too, am a part of the conversation. - Liam Willis

joshw1979Fear and loathing in DCAn insanely funny and somehow still very informing podcast about the world of DC. First time I heard it I was afraid it was about Marvel but IT WAS DC BARRY!
-
RyukhinGet into it!My DC fandom was limited to Batman and the Super Friends before I found these wonderful humans. There is so much content, I am not sure how their heads don’t explode. They are not exclusionary and I have never once felt bad for my lack of knowledge. It’s a good time every week and I love listening to back episodes, the catalog is deep. Come for the love stay for the thirst ;)

J_MHCheck it out!Just started listening to this podcast and it’s definitely worth the time! Whether you’re a seasoned nerd or a newb, you’ll find something of interest here
-
CrimsonRavennGreat Podcast for DC comic newbiesI am primarily a Marvel fan, but wanted to dive into more DC. This podcast has been a great entry point. I’ve read a bunch of comics I normally wouldn’t bother with because of them being suggested on this podcast. I’ve branched out from the basic Bat-Family books I would normally stick to.

ButtButtFartButtThe Best DC Podcast out thereHi. Do you like Comics? No? Well shut up. This podcast will kindle any spark of interest you may have ever had in DC comics. There are a lot of comics podcasts out there that are basically glorified ad campaigns, but thankfully this is not one of them. Doctor DC brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the DC universe and answers weekly questions from fans while Producer Richard simultaneously runs the show and keeps us all laughing. Together, they have created one of the best podcast communities out there. If you have questions about DC comics, enjoy quippy self-deprecating humor, like deep comics lore, find Josh Gill attractive, or need something to listen to while you’re just oot and aboot, (eh?) then this is the podcast for you!
-
GloomPatrolGreat Funny PodcastThe only reason it isn’t 5 star is mostly because I figure out a good question to ask the Doctor after the episode comes out. They must suffer for my inadequacy. But 5 stars

Irish SpudGreat podcast to learn comics and comic culture without awkward moments! This is a great podcast! Very knowledgeable and full of fun times. If you were ever the kid in high school who wanted to hang with comic kids but didn’t draw or write and didn’t know how to get into the crowd, this is your podcast! If your an adult looking to get into or jump back into comics great podcast to use! Great question and answer session. It’s like Standby Me, your two Canadian guy friends bring you on a journey of comics. They teach you and include you in all the jokes. You feel like your chilling with two good nerd buddies. There is a “younger brother” type character but just like in life his “mother” calls him away after you let him tag along for a bit. He leaves at episode 75 and the true show starts to glow, grow and go forward to true multiverse greatness. Grab a beer and listen and laugh along with your two new comic crew friends!
-
MulletoverlordAlfred RisesGreat podcast with well informed and respectable hosts, who have the best and most nuanced pitch for an Alfred Pennyworth origin.

Tis Neo StarBest dc comics podcast to learn and laughEver wanted to learn about the wonderful world of dc that isn’t completely related to the dceu!? Fear not, this podcast has everything a listener would need; entertaining hosts, informative episodes, as well as a love for DC comics. The episodes vary from an hour to 2. My favorite episode would have to be the “The Boy Wonder” episode where they discuss the robins. On that note, this podcast has a variety of great episodes to choose from as well as they update their podcast pretty often! -Professor Marvel (working my way towards that PhD :D)

MidnightPuckA Wealth of Knowledge...plus RichardListening to these guys talk DC helps me fill my gaps in knowledge having previously lived a Marvel-only lifestyle. Great info. Great fun. Great laughs. 10 out of 10.
-
courtofowlsThis is.......This is what Fatman on Batman used to be...... but way better, funnier, and more Canadian-er.....er. Love when they say aboot! Love the comedy! And learn along the way!

Disco Inferno 74Knowledge & Entertainment: A Super ComboI have to pinch myself upon hearing you guys every week, talking about your affinity for DC—something I definitely share. I grew up among peers that all seemingly preferred that other company (you know, that has that spider guy—-Arachnaman, I think?) and gradually formed the belief that everybody in America was apathetic towards DC. I’m ecstatic that that’s not the case. Oh, and what Colin does? Sporadically drops his gem of a Tom Brokaw impression, of course. Keep up the great work, all three of you! ~Phil Fresno, CA

WomplerProves that comic fans can be funnyTypically, the best I can hope for humor-wise from comic book fans is something like mallrats (so not all that good). These dudes are actually funny and enjoy the same comedy podcasts I do (Doughboys, High and Mighty, etc). It is a gid podcast.
-
Trey ShoafGreat for New Readers of DCAmazing funny show that really helped me get into DC comics as a new reader since 2017. The Doctor and Producer Richard continue to find new ways to make the show entertaining and well worth tuning in every single week.
-
RedburrHuhI thought I reviewed you guys here before. Guess I didn’t? Love you guys.
-
GdwvhfsvngfVery KnowledgeableThese guys are super knowledgeable about DC comics and comics in general als I very funny and engaging

alfreddidit5 Starros! These guys are the best and this podcast fuels my love of DC. Come for the knowledge but stay for the sweet release!
-
Geist01A great comic book podcast!I just discovered this podcast with the newest Robin episode and I’m hooked! The hosts are hilarious and extremely knowledgeable! Give them a listen asap -Corey from “Podcasting After Dark”

Ben.ForrestMy new favorite podcast!I feel like this is the podcast that my friends and I would strive to make. Plenty of humor mixed in with insight into the DC universe. The Doctor has an encyclopedic knowledge of the DCU that puts this mega DC fan to shame, but that makes it so that even I learn so much from every episode. You can tell both hosts have a great time making the podcast and want nothing more than to inform/entertain us. I will definitely go back and listen to all of the older episodes. Keep up the amazing work!
-
xstr8edge818xSoo good that...The Doctor DC podcast is sooo good.... how good is it? You should check out to the Everything is Scary podcast to find out what I think.
-
Brad SeverinGive yourself up to the DoctorThe Doctor knows everything about DC and they’re all pretty funny.
-
Spider-UkThe funniest podcast about comicsI only just found these guys three days ago and have already listened to 22 hours of their show. That’s right, BOTH Kyle Clark episodes.
-
Digidax1DCAnother really good DC comics podcast
-
Azalin_RexAre you at 20 reviews yet?The Doctor DC podcast is an engaging show that encourages people to ask questions about various DC comics, characters, and themes. I enjoy the hosts joking attitudes toward each other, and the funny things they make up for question askers’ various screen names. Richard, maybe don’t read this on the podcast, it’s not remotely funny.
-
WeezWorksRad Reveal During DocmasHas anyone else told Richard that he revealed a “Rad” phone number during his Docmas drunk dial? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyways, as someone who also has a near encyclopedic knowledge of DC, it’s nice to know that I’m not alone. If your a DC Fanboy, hump on the Doctor DC Podcast.... I was trying to type Jump and auto correct happened.... hump is funnier @weezworks
-
therealjoshgillLet's get nerdy!Such a great and fun podcast that really celebrates all that is fun about DC comics while really testing the Doctor's encyclopedic knowledge of DC. Perfect for anyone interested in learning more about a specific topic or character or for anyone who just wants to listen a couple of guys nerd out over their favorite comics. **If timed correctly, this should be the review that puts it at 52 and forces the Doctor to watch the Supernatural pilot. You're welcome.

Ryan PutneyA wonderful podcast for learning about DC ComicsStarted listening yesterday and I absolutely love it. Not only does Doctor DC talks about all things DC but will also discuss Marvel from time to time. Doctor DC has taught me more things about DC that I never new since I have been a fan of DC. He has great people working with him that ensure you get a laugh every episode. Lastly he does a fantastic job creating great content just by answering listener questions. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about DC or if you are a fan of DC or comics in general. You won’t regret it.

KiryuChristian.5 star podcast.Great content always.

Kcross202Awesome podcast!Very enjoyable shows. Well balanced in knowledge and jokes that make you want to binge listen every show! If you like DC comics then this is the show for you. Also if you ever have a question to ask the Doctor DC just posted on there Instagram and they will answer it! (Colin loves Instagram) What Colin’s say: Kcross202 for life!
-
MagicPlayer.Awesome PodcastThis podcast is amazing. I know almost nothing about comic books, but this has helped me understand the DC comic universe incredibly well. A must listen when a new episode comes out. What Colleen does: praise Ragman for being awesome while also wondering where the podcasts first producer prior to Richard is.
-
J3KCThe cure for your Marvel bluesReally enjoy this show. The hosts are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all things DC. Covers a topic an episode and fields questions on that subject. Just make sure the kids aren't in the room for this one. Good stuff!
-
DashiellRI Bet It's Great! To be honest, I've only heard the show once, but I learned a LOT about DC comics! Some of what I heard made me laugh pretty hard too...and I also walked away with a lot of questions for my dad that had nothing to do with comic books. I don't think he was ready to answer them though so we just went out for ice cream instead. I kept asking my dad to listen again so he came up with a list of words, like a warning system, because sometimes they say naughty things. For instance, if my dad says "Doctor," it's pretty safe to listen, but I might hear a dirty word. If he says "Colin!" I'm supposed to put my hands over my ears and hum the theme to Superman really loudly. If he says "RICHARD!" I'm supposed to jump out of the car and run away as fast as I can. We've tried listening again, I think 7 times now. I still haven't heard the show, but boy can I run fast! Dad says that one day when I'm A LOT older, I can listen again, but he loves the show, and hopes they'll still be doing it when that day comes.

Converge241The Doctor is INto the DCUThis is a great podcast that comines a knowledgeable deep dive into the DC Universe mixed with pop culture and witty humor. “Do I really need another comics podcast?” You may ask. The answer is yes you do! Check it out! What does Colin do? He takes that witty humor to Michael Scott level...good or bad ;)
-
Resident DCFantastic!!!Best DC podcast out there. All I really see are either Marvel or all comics in general podcast but I mainly read DC so thank you for this. Keep up the good work
-
Shank-elGood stuffThey type of podcast that makes a day at work easier to get though. The Doctor is very knowledgeable without ever coming off as pompous like you may expect from a hardcore fan talking to non comic book readers. (Colin says) "In loudest din or hush profound, My ears catch evil's slightest sound. Let those who toll out evil's knell Beware my power, the F-Sharp Bell!"
-
Cage_NarleighDoctor D.C. is a PODCAST!The Doctor D.C. Podcast is of a rare breed. As someone with a podcast nearing 10 years on the air, I've got a good handle on what makes or breaks a new podcast launch. Right from the get go, the podcast had a format, a plan, and a theme and stuck to it. Too many shows start off with an episode where the host says "here's the idea and I'm not sure how it will work. Guess we'll see and we'll make changes as we go!" But the Doctor busted out from word go with a solid format. His knowledge is nigh almost unimpeachable but he manages to impart it in a way that's more than a simple boring info-dump... *1940's newsman/radio program narrator voice* ...while co-host Colin, COLIN with the CLEVERNESS of Plastic Man, the OPTIMISM of Jimmy Olsen, the LOONINESS of G'Nort, the IRREVERENCE of Ambush Bug, and the NAÏVETÉ of Billy Batson struggles valiantly to comprehend the knowledge imparted to him!
-
Dave RossiNerds & Normals CollideWhile the Doctor appreciates a dive into the deep end of all things DC comics, his mostly non-comic book cohorts splash around in the shallow end, keeping the show grounded as they poke light hearted fun at the genre. The fun is hearing them become more knowledgeable with each subsequent episode as Doctor DC does his thing. They're not afraid of awkward silences, which is sometimes off-putting for the medium, but the show all comes together anyway, because, well, speedforce. Collin, the co-host & comic book noob's job, is to keep the show on a steady course towards comic book genocide of an indiscriminate nature. Everyone needs a hobby.
