    Laughing so hard
“I’m eating beans!” That Trent Sabo interview was some of the funniest/intense smack sumo talk I’ve ever heard. Love the podcast guys!

    My sumo fix
I live in Japan and love sumo. This is the only podcast I listen to that gives me all the info I need. Love the humor and back-and-forth the fellows have. A must listen if you follow Japan’s national sport. Keep it up gents!

Who would have thought that BINGO is all it would take to get you to root for Kagayaki? Thx for playing, guys, & keep up the good work!

    5 stars for no racism!?
Great podcast. Very good podcast. No racist rap battles to be seen and true Sumo content is there too.

    So thankful I found this!
This podcast is great for English speaking sumo fans!

    Love it!
These guys bring so much passion to their love of sumo. I’ve been following them for 2 ish years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. They make their own fake commercials, do fantasy sumo drafts and have a great podcast dynamic. Just a great way to get into, and follow, sumo as an English speaker.

Best Unofficially official Sumo podcast out there
Mass respect to these guys and their love of sumo. you can tell their just as passionate, or even more passionate about the sport then a lot us, and I hope they keep up with the fantastic work! ... now let’s just hope the ITunes algorithm doesn’t screw then over!

Awesome podcast for any Sumo fan.
Have been listening to these guys for the past 6 or so basho. A lot of fun listening to these guys talk Sumo. For those of us American Sumo fanatics who can’t seem to convince a group of your buddies to get into this sport, you’ll find a lot of enjoyment listening to these guys. Great comedic tone and very informative (what I also enjoy in Chris Gould’s videos). Highly recommend

    An Oasis of Sumo
Thank god for BSG! Before they came along, the podcast world was a desert of sumo content. These guys are insightful, have great commentary, and a comfortable dynamic with each other – think hanging out with your buddies and talking rikishi. In addition to the “breakdown” itself, I find the fun facts, news tidbits, and end of basho awards to be the best parts of the show. I do have a couple of critiques: 1. I don’t understand why there is both a prediction series AND a fantasy league. Honestly, I’m not involved and I can’t remember who you guys pick anyway so I usually just skip past these parts. I might be persuaded to listen to one or the other if it’s a short segment but not both. 2. Some people really geek out about banzuke predictions so I understand the need to keep it in the show but speed it up. It’s really not that interesting to listen to. 3. Ryan needs to understand that Hokutofuji is a chump and Goeido will always be a better rik. Thanks for the great podcast, fellas!

    Great passion
Love the passion these guys have for sumo. Really gives me something to listen to since I don’t have anyone else into sumo.

    Missing some expertise
Funny at times, but lacking in knowledge, pronounciations, and reverence in other moments. I really wanted to like this; this could be better balanced with more informed and cultivated commentary. Tachiai’s occasional podcast is a much better pick at this time.

    Really?
This was a terrific sumo podcast. But the latest episode on WWE was quite the disappointment. We come to listen to sumo talk. I’ll try once more, but if it’s not back to sumo I’ll take my complaint to Chiyo, Chiyo, Chiyo, and Chiyo!

    Great sumo show!
This is an excellent and thorough podcast that’s also entertaining. I like all the hosts and the information is a great mix where there’s something for novices and for experts. ONLY REASON this isn’t getting five stars is cause the hosts really need to work on their pronunciation of the Japanese terms. Please! :P

    Excellent sumo podcast
Fun, informative group of guys who don’t take themselves too seriously. Definitely worth a listen especially if you are new to watching Sumo.

    Pronunciation
As a Rikishi in US Sumo, and an over all lover of Sumo, I'm pretty stoked about there being a podcast, and I love the knowledge you have in such a short amount of time watching...but please learn to say the Rikishi's names properly. Maybe it's just be but it's like scratching a chalkboard despite the great comentary. Listening to the commentators on NHK network might help. I'd like to see the podcast go far and I just see that as a hurdle that's all :).
