Alex has a way of asking the right questions. The photographers interviewed share their experience, and also details on how they got to where they are, some of their mistakes and a lot on their creative process. I walk away with new knowledge everytime I listen. Great podcast!

Love how in-depth and honest the conversations are. It’s a great addition to my podcast schedule to boost my own work.

...be aware that the host curses like he breathes, so this is not a podcast you’ll want to listen to with kids around. It should be labeled explicit but it isn’t. I hope he learns to control his mouth bc it doesn’t sound professional and often is at odds with the much more polished presentation of his guests’ side of the conversation.

I finally had a chance to listen to your interview with Ramona Rosales and you guys knocked it out of the park! Every student that contacts our studio that wants to discuss thier future or assisting opportunities -- I always tell them to listen to your show to get a feeling for what the real world is all about. I've been a listener for awhile now and this podcast has been so insightful in so many ways. It has had a profound impact on my process and has given me the courage to push and market myself better. It has been fun to listen and to hear Alex develop as an interviewer.

Alex gets amazing guests and clearly has a natural curiosity and access. I WANT to love this podcast, the guests are incredibly talented and compelling, but I can't rate it highly or recommend it. The pod sounds too much like a fanboy conversation, "And then, you did this, and it was awesome." The questions and conversations lack the depth of other interview podcasts and barely scratch the surface of what's possible from these amazing folks.

Glad to see a working photographer seeking out commercial photographers with whom to converse and share their experiences. The interview style can be a bit droll from time to time, but Alex gets some good info out of his interviewees. And hey Alex, as a new Interviewer (which is what you are now!) give The Turnaround with Jesse Thorn a listen ;)

Clay's thoughts, views and explanations are honest. in this podcast, Clay speaks is in-depth and his soulful theories are fromt he heart. He shares so many of his experiences and we are so lucky to have this podcast. I too went to SVA and also worked under Tom Ashe! love those guys love SVA and love Clay the most.
