Big powerful surfing -linguistically and intellectually intriguing, it brought up many different points about surfing and how the culture evolved in the 80s/90s. Not only did it bring up and develop these points, but it had a credible source and one of the people in this cultural revolution (Nathan fletcher). It may of been better off if the whole podcast was Nathan, I don’t believe the interviewee prior contributed as much as him. Top Richest surfers -statistically analytical and generally funny. It brings up the different surfers and which ones are the richest in the world. It then discusses surfing pay roll through the ages and how the payroll has changed as different companies enter and exit the market, such as Nike. The episode I Believe is too long and would have been better off with less fluff, more independence on the listeners train of thought. Favorite Surfer in the world -Another statistical episode which brought up much opinion in surfing and how different surfers have different effects on watchers based on their combination of skill and social capacity. This episode I believe was done perfectly, especially with bringing in Lincoln. Lincoln contributed a lot and ran the whole story. In all the Stab productions podcast was a Very Well-informed podcast with many different ideas and sources. It really helped and helps contribute to my idea of surfing. I know it has this effect for most surfers and listeners out there to date, it is the leading podcast and for good reason. One critique I have on it is that it doesn’t include enough intellectual talk to make some points it attempts to make. Like in the Top richest Surfers, it talked too much about surfer’s social status, rather than just their surf ability in general.

Hi Stab. Thanks for putting up two great pods, "stab cusp," and, "the drop," every week! The interviews and conversations are entertaining filled with jabs and humor along with surf news and knowledgeable insights on the world's best surfers on and off tour. It's by far my favorite surf podcast! Keep em coming!

Here’s a surf podcast I can get down with- informative and topical with interesting guests. Part of my weekly stoke during the work commute or surf check. Look forward to your consistent drop while other podcasts I enjoy are spotty. I’m not jotting this down to win some freebie, man I got me that stab premium goodness (the videos alone are worth the sub and don’t get me started on the journalism ya’ll are churning out. Dang, big fan). Seriously good stuff Danny, keep em coming!

While I originally wilted like lettuce in the sun too long when I heard Danny speak, I have come to appreciate and fully enjoy his slow delivery and subtle sense of humor. The Drop is now part of my weekly podcast therapy program.

The Drop is a great weekly blast of surfing's underbelly. Current happenings and genuinely great conversations with surfing greats and other influential voices. Danny leads you through an hour with wit and wisdom while providing excellent interviews and commentary. A great listen to look forward to for that Friday commute.

Even if I didn’t like surfing I will still like this podcast! It’s a great way to stay up to date with everything that is going on in the surfing world. You will definitely want to subscribe and listen to the back catalog for entertainment! Mike and Stace have some great Banter on Cusp and Danny keeps us in the know with the Drop! Stoked on every episode and can’t watch for your new edits!

I initially was on the hunt for the oral history of 'the stabbin' cabin' but was pleasantly surprised when I heard the sultry pipes of none other than the original Wet Lettuce aka Mr Danny Johnson! His surf knowledge, interview skills, and quick wit could be likened to the surfing world's Geraldo Rivera. With guests like Smivvy, the Rage crew, and the occasional Michael Charemello, this pod entertains, informs, and inspires. Mahalos Good Sir!

Love to get an in-depth, relatively unrestrained commentary on all things surfing. Great show if you’re looking to get into the stories behind the scenes and industry takes that you won’t hear in many outlets. Edit: looks like you guys are doing the weekly pod now and it’s awesome. Maybe don’t edit the spaces so much so it’s a bit more raw. But I guess this is kind of on brand. Would be cool if you had the flagship long form show monthly, and a podcast with a person of interest in the surfing industry monthly. Open ended Rogan style would be cool - i think it would be a good fit with the brand and interesting overall.

I listened to the episode of Joe Rogan's podcast with Shane as the guest because I've always wanted to hear more from him - and I was extremely impressed with how articulate he is for being one of the coolest guys on the planet. I can't BELIEVE they got Christian Fletcher!!!!!!

Shane and Nathan are ok hosts but Christian Fletcher is so much better. Make him the host.

Been waiting for another legit surf podcacast besides the OCC cast. Loved listening to Shane on Rogan, keep up the good work fellas!

Love this podcast it’s fresh and new and brings a whole new look and feel to surfing. The hosts do a great job of making the guests feel comfortable and open and making them be themselves. Keep it up and can’t wait for the next one.
