(To the point where I took the plunge and joined the community and it’s been fantastic). This podcast hit me in the right place (my heart) at the right time (struggling with my teen). Jon is an amazing host and interviewer that leads with curiosity, vulnerability and honesty into all aspect of not only being a father, but husband, son, friend, man and human. I just finished listening to episode #443 “Becoming an Eternal Optimist, Being Perfectly Imperfect and Evolving as a Parent” with Matt Drinkhahn. First off, the episode title spoke to my soul and I’ve been eagerly waiting to listen. The episode did not disappoint and I resonated with several things Matt spoke about being a perfectionist within myself that I’d like to address. This podcast is great and I’d encourage any dad (W2 or entrepreneur) who wants to better themselves to give this show a listen!

I was introduced to this podcast two days ago and I’m 4 episodes in and it’s lit my fire to put my life into better perspective and prioritize more my family over work and business. I have 4 young kids and work in a demanding healthcare industry as well as in the middle of launching a business which goes live in May. It’s a busy time right now, and hearing so much great advice already from this podcast of how family comes first and then business, really motivates me to better align my life. I listened to the episode with Matt Drinkhahn and he talked about whenever he feels guilt and shame he writes in his journal, “welcome. I know I have something to learn from you.” And has a great perspective on how to manage it as a dad.

Really liked the information and insight they talked about in "becoming an eternal optimist" he mentioned the definition of an optimist is seeing things through a positive lens, which I had never thought of before. Overall just very good and nice thoughts and information.

Jon is a fantastic host and he talks to a wide range of guests about topics that really impact you as a man, father, husband and business owner. Even if you only aspire for one or more of these categories, you should listen to this podcast. Seriously.

I’ve been a long time listener, and get incredible value out of each episode. In the recent interview with Matt Drinkhahm, Matt discussed his struggles with being a perfectionist, and not always being present in the moment with his family. This struggle resonates with me, and I also share the same desire for adventure and connection with friends and family.

It is awesome to have found this podcast that is filled with so many great stories and experiences of people honestly and sincerely trying to do and be better people! It is nice to hear successful people be vulnerable and open about the challenges they're facing and how they are working to grow and become someone who can have an even greater and more positive impact on their family! Definitely worth following if you are or are wanting to be a more impactful member of your family!

One thing I learned from this episode was the idea that we need to feel less responsible for our kids reactions but more responsible for our own reactions to them. Much more powerful and controllable way of looking at situations.

The tag line of family men with businesses, not business men with families is what initially drew me in. What I appreciate about this podcast is it focuses on real men, not social media influencers and gurus. The conversations are honest, vulnerable, and well rounded. I enjoy hearing how other men approach family life and how they incorporate their work into their life. These seem to be men living with purpose.

I had the pleasure of being invited on Jon’s podcast to share my journey of fatherhood as an entrepreneur and to dispel vegan myths. It was such a fantastic conversation. What I love about Jon is that he’s curious and wants to learn new ways of being. Whether he uses it or not, he allows the space to share. Thats what I appreciated most about our conversation. His interviews are always rock solid and the guests he brings on share a ton of value. If you’re a father, regardless if you have a business or not, you’ll find tremendous value in his work. I highly recommend listening to his podcast during your daily commutes, walks, or however else you like to consume them!

Was recommended this podcast a year ago and love it. Each episode is with a fellow dad committed to be best at it. They are willing to come on and share what they have learned on their journey. I found scrolling through back episode titles I found some absolute gems of episodes that were highly relevant to me.

Jon is one of the best coaches I’ve ever encountered. I first “met” him through his book, The Front Row Factor, and underlined something on every page. I was fortunate enough to hear him speak at an event, and I got the chance to get to know him. I could tell that his advice would change my life for the better, and it has. I love this podcast. It’s my #1 favorite podcast, because it focuses on what I care about most, being the best husband and father I can be. And by doing that, I’ve found I’m becoming the best human I can be. I was recently introduced to Front Row Dads by a friend and fellow father and I’m grateful he did. To hear the perspective, philosophy, vulnerability, advice, wins, losses, improvements, spirituality, etc from other dads who are entrepreneurs brings so much value to the listeners to be a better dad, individual, community member, and business person. Family is something sacred and needs to be protected especially in our current times where it’s easy to get distracted and pulled away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Business always took the driver seat while everything else went to the wayside. This podcast has helped bring back focus to what’s important that is being a dad that makes time my kids no matter how busy life is, a husband that is a present and is lifelong companion to his wife, and a contributing member to society. This is a podcast is a must listen for all dads.

I’ve been listening for a long time and haven’t left a review. However, after just finishing the Hal Elrod and Mikki Willis interview I felt moved to commend this podcast with a 5 star review. During this interview the listener truly went on a journey of discovery about Mikki and his own insights and growth gave way to my own introspection - especially about parenting. I appreciate both the honesty and the transparency in this courageous conversation and I hope he will be back again! Thanks to Hal Elrod for his inquisitive and always friendly interview style. I appreciated the sharing of his own moments in parenting and the genuine curiosity that took place in this interview.

When I first found this podcast years ago, I was immediately drawn to it because Jon felt so genuine, and the show didn’t have a hokey intro like many of the other ‘dad’casts. There are so many good nuggets of wisdom tucked in these episodes that focus on the whole of being a dad. If you only listen to one episode, make it the one with Jim Schiels on the Family Board Meeting. Then you’ll want to listen to the rest. Jon’s curiosity and drive towards putting his family first makes this one I keep coming back to!

As an entrepreneur and father it’s hard to find a group of men that care about being the best at both. The FRD podcast opened the possibilities for how I can be a great business man but more importantly a great father. Highly recommend!

I happened across the podcast about two years ago. The line “Family man with a business, not a business man with a family” has stuck in my head from that first episode. I believe being a parent is one of the most important roles I’ll play in life. Any chance I can hear from people and ideas that will help me show up as the best version of myself for my kids is a win! Listening to Jon and Chad Willardson converse led me to think about my role as a father. It helped me realize the areas that I can improve. I wasn’t familiar with this show until I came across Chad as a guest. What a cool pod! Jon asks poignant questions and I really like the ideas presented as successful business men lead successful families first. Chad shares many meaningful ideas that inspired me as a young father and husband to be better both in my home and in business. Highly recommend and look forward to listening to many others.

Front Row Dads Podcast is full of great interviews with exemplary individuals. I was really excited to hear Chad Willardson interviewed and it did not disappoint! I came away from the episode motivated to be a better father and husband. Chad had some very practical ideas about how to show up better for my family, how to teach my children about money, and how to teach my children about service. I got the sense that Chad lives what he teaches and his enthusiasm for growth/improvement is powerful. I highly recommend this podcast and the interview with Chad Willardson.

These guys nail it with their content! I’ve started listening just recently but I’m hooked! As I work my way through the past episodes and anticipate future episodes, I’m loving all I’m hearing and learning and how I’m growing in my thoughts about being a better dad.

I told by wife the other day that I was going to join FRD because it literally feeds my soul. Every aspect of what this group is about aligns with who I want to be. Cant wait to become a member when enrollment opens up!
