Hellooo16264Good info, awful speakingThere’s good information but it’s SO hard to listen to the valley girl voice. Ending every sentence with a question mark. I wish I could continue listening but it’s so hard

EricaBushwellAwesome podcast!Jessie & Anita, host of the To Birth and Beyond podcast, highlights all aspects of health and more in this can’t miss podcast! The host and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!

at426669InformativeThe contents of this podcast are really informative, but I do have to acknowledge one of the hosts does uptalk quite a bit. I don’t like policing the way women talk (we’re already criticized for enough things) and I certainly uptalk as well, but I did find it distracting at times.

EricaF14Such a great resourceI’ve been listening to Jessie & Anita for a while now, and this has become my favorite podcast. As a pre-& postnatal fitness coach I am constantly looking to learn and up level my coaching skills. The episodes are Informative, positive, and real. Postpartum is no joke. These ladies tell it like it is. I’m also new in starting my business and I appreciate the insight they provide here too. Highly recommend!

THarvey8390Good info but...I CAN’T handle the way the speaker talks. I had a professor in college bring to my class’s attention (I had noticed it before, but appreciated her calling it out in class) that there is a common idiosyncrasy of speaking of many people today, often females, where they end every sentence, regardless of punctuation, as if it were a question. This speaker’s voice goes up at the end of practically every sentence and it was so abrasive to listen to I had to grit my teeth and suffer through it. The information is totally valid and they discuss great topics and have great things to say, but this manner of speaking-as if every sentence ends with a question mark-is so distracting and makes them sound as if they are unsure of what they’re saying, or just plain uneducated...which they are clearly NOT. Something to consider as podcasters that your manner of speaking has a lot to do with the listener’s receipt of material and overall enjoyment of the program.

ald1104Keeping it realI sincerely appreciate this podcast. I started listening midway though my 2nd pregnancy and I’m now 3 weeks postpartum. The tips and advice they offer for during pregnancy, getting through birth, and postpartum have been very useful. And more than that is sharing their candid experiences physically, mentally and emotionally about each of these phases in their bodies, about their babies and in their marriages and careers. It’s helpful to realize the things I struggle with are not uncommon and to hear how others have managed.

lgaaaaaaYou need this if you have kids, are pregnant or plan on having kidsJessie and Anita are phenomenal at presenting information that mamas and mamas-to-be need to hear. They are straight forward, speak from experience, and are able to present multiple views gracefully and without bias. They are moms, working for and with moms to make the prenatal and postpartum experience better. Love these two and what they are bringing to motherhood.

EleanorL88Informative and easy to connect withI am loving this podcast so far. Currently training to be a pre/post natal fitness specialist but I have not yet had a baby myself. I feel that this podcast is already giving me so much insight into the lives of future clients. Very informative and easy to connect with these ladies.
