    I couldn’t stop listening!
I have always loved books/movies/stories that have to do with mental illness. Especially due to my family and myself havingmultiple different mental illnesses. I really think this deserves a better review more like 4.8-5 stars! The only thing I could see maybe people not liking is the auto on some parts are not perfect.. but if you listen to it with headphones or AirPods the sound is much better! I straight up Benj listen to this in only half a day because i just couldn’t stop listening. I really wish there are more stories like this…

    Teen angst
It was ok. The story didn't end with the bang I was hoping for. Story sounded very scripted.

    Give it a Chance
The beginning it’s a little slow but by the end I was really glad I listen to this.

    Sick
If you need to hear kids getting tortured to death while they’re inpatients of a mental hospital, this show is for you. If you don’t need to hear that, skip it.

Victim olympics garbage with a mystery attached
I couldn't get through more than 5 episodes. As someone who has been treated for mental health issues for years (and now for several years doing pretty darn well) almost all these characters have a massive victim complex, which would have been extremely bad for me had i listened to it before recovery. The mystery is darn good but I’m not wasting anymore of my life listening to it due to the obvious pandering and victim olympics mentality.

    All Over Sound Quality
I really enjoyed this podcast but the sound quality was all over the place. It was really loud at some points and very quiet for the rest. I could not hear a huge chunk of it at max volume in my car.

    Interesting
I honestly thought that the storyline and narrorations were great. The sound quality varied and at times it was hard to understand what was being said. They do touch on issues in a well mannered way. **Only other issue I did have besides the sound quality was the fact that you mention indigenous communities don't have negative hallucinations because they aren't exposed to what mainstream society sees. That is NOT true. It's very oppresive to say that because majority of us are not isolated on reservations like we once were. Every issue that yall touched on was spoke of in a cordial way but it was pretty racist to make it sound like we (indigenous peoples) aren't part of western society. I rather yall not mention indigenous peoples with doing poor research. Some stars were docked for that racist fact.

    Awesome!
Binged the whole podcast in one day. This was great. Thank you for caring about mental illness and creating a captivating story to bring awareness to real issues.

    Awesome
This podcast is one of the best psychiatry podcasts I’ve come across. The voice acting, specifically from the person who plays Ryan, is great. The storyline was engaging, and I love the rep. The only thing was that it was incredibly quiet. I had my headphones turned up all the way and even then sometimes couldn’t hear it.

    ❤️
I love this podcast, but the sound really varies and it’s difficult to listen on to with anything other than headphones

    Almost
This is almost an excellent podcast. It’s got a great storyline but it’s not immersive at all due to a few minor things that could easily be adjusted. For instance, if Ryan would sound a little less like he’s speed reading a script that would be very helpful. It would also help if you were voice actors were to practice a few times before recording so that they are better prepared to sound less like they are reading aloud in class. The only other issue is that most of the people posing as doctors or staff sound like teenagers so it takes you out of the moment. I will still continue to listen because as I said the story is very good but hopefully you guys can make a few adjustments so that it’s a more immersive experience.

    Quiet
Too quiet to play while I’m driving

    Oof
I loved the producer’s other show, Lake Clarity, despite all their bad sound mixing at times (gunshots being extremely loud compared to the rest of the podcast being quiet for example) so I decided to give this one a try. First episode put me a bit on edge with how it dealt with Tourette’s (Ryan being someone who has a cursing tick, the most common in media, despite them admitting not many people having that tick) and the bipolar character being an artist. I decided to give it one more episode before I decided to keep going or not. I had to stop a two and a half minutes in, because a character said that indigenous people who have schizophrenia don’t hallucinate scary things like people in western society do because they haven’t been exposed to the same negative images all the time “like we are here.” And they move on like the character didn’t spout off some racist bull. Indigenous communities aren’t totally shut off from the rest of the world; and this doesn’t even make sense with what their explanation for why some hallucinations are the way they are. Can’t recommend this to anyone to be honest, would give it less stars if I could

    Love this and control room
Same crazy Dr Hayes in both aftershock and control room both podcasts are really good and very similar. Hope there is another season of aftershock truly one of my favorites.

    Get out!
Listen to this one makes me yell at the main characters, and all the twists and turns are enjoyable.

    Muddled Waters Volume Problem
There are major problems with volume levels on the “Muddled Waters” episode. The beer commercial in the beginning had a normal volume level, but the show was way quieter. I had to turn the volume twice as loud as normal just to hear, but then at one point Ryan yells and it nearly blew my ears and speakers. Bummed. But I still like the show.

    I’m Hooked!
Great story, great subject. The material could be butchered in the wrong hands, as it’s sensitive stuff (mental illness, suicide, self harm) but it is handled with precision and poise and I WANT MORE!

An actually good ghost story with mental illness
I love the clearly thoughtful writing behind this story. There are too many characters who have mental illnesses in horror and thrillers who are poorly written as either paper victims or distorted villains. This is clearly a story about showing how people with various mental illness can be engaging, complex, and heroes in a horror story. I can't wait to see where this story goes.

Like the premise, but needs some work
The story is very interesting. They need to get some professional sound engineers to help them out though. I have to turn up my volume almost all the way to even hear it. You can also hear the microphone everytime someone starts talking. This podcast definitely has promise, and I will continue subscribing because I do want to know what happens next. I also like that they are tackling such an important issue and are trying to raise awareness.

    LOVE IT! 
I first heard about this from the "Creepy" podcast of the Bloody Disgusting Podcast Network. And when I started listening, I was hooked! I can't believe that a podcast could make me so anxious just to hear another episode! Thanks so much for making this podcast. It gives me so much entertainment when I'm out on a hike!  And for the people of the Bloody Disgusting Podcast Network, thank you so much for recommending this podcast to me. 

    Wow!
I was hooked the very second it started. Keep them coming.

    Excited abou this one!
I love the premise of this show and the characters are genuinely interesting after only a couple of episodes. The ONLY reason I didn't give it a 5 star review (though, I really wanted to), is because the sound quality lacks a bit. The overall volume of the show is much lower to other podcasts I listen to. Maybe a bit of compression and mastering would solve the issue. Otherwise Great work so far and I can't wait for new episodes!

    My next obsession
Deals with Mental health issues with Bright Sessions levels of finesse and gets into the creep factor I wish the Black Tapes still held for me. One episode in and I'm hooked on this exploration or reality and perception that I know is headed good places.

Cannot WAIT to see where this goes
I love the idea of tackling mental illness and the supernatural in a healthy and interesting way. AMAZING so far.

One episode in and I'm already hooked.
I've already listened to the first episode twice. I came back to it for the second time last night before falling asleep, the theme song was stuck in my head and I wanted more time with the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the ups and downs, the suspense, the mystery of the first listen but the second showed how deep this show really goes. Bonus points for the PSA's about mental health, I'll be impatiently waiting for the next episodes.
  • Someone out there as well
    Great Start!
This podcast has me cringing for more.
