I absolutely love this podcast! It’s such a fun listen. Drag and DnD are two of my most favorite niche interests and to have them combined- I’m gooped and gagged.

It seemed like a pretty esoteric topic for a podcast series, listening to drag queens playing Dungeons and Dragons. But then the topical jokes started rolling out, the nerdy references that I thought only I knew, and the off the cuff humor, I am now working my way through the entire series.

These Queens will charm you right from the first episode, no matter how high your Wisdom save roll happens to be. I’ve been listening nonstop for a week now, with no regrets. The players are quick witted and imaginative, with just the right amount of racy content and sass. Matt the DM has written a story and world that continues to amuse and delight even the hardened heart that rattles around in this old bird. Here’s to you QoA, and more seasons to come!

The timing of finding this simply brilliant podcast could not have been better! Going through it & I just happened to stumble upon it and I literally have pains in my sides from laughing so so much! This show is perfect in every way. These raunchy drag-goddesses and their infinitely-creative DM Matt have me in stitches every episode. I started listening last week, and just started episode 15! And to be honest, as a nerdy lesbian, it‘s also genuinely heartwarming to hear these wonderful LGBTQ+ people have fun together. A truly special, weird, and exciting podcast that combines two of my biggest interests; drag and fantasy!!

A friend of mine took me to their live shows in Chicago a few months back and they were hysterical. When I found out they had a podcast I was curious so I took a listen and its side splitting comedy as well as a good DND adventure. I am hooked and slowly working through the older episodes. Keep up the good work queens and come back to Chicago!

A freaking hysterical podcast experience. I am so glad this podcast exists. It’s my two favorite things in a single podcast. The queens are so clever and quick and Matt is a brilliant DM, coming up with fun and campy challenges for the girls to deal with. Even though the rules are a little odd, I appreciate all the work they do. The live episodes are especially great, hope to see on in person one day.

I truly cannot stop listening to this show! I love DnD, but have always found listening to DnD podcasts kinda boring. But! Oh honey! Not this podcast. The cast of queens are so funny and so engaging! These queens are always taking big, hilarious swings and their amazing DM, Matt, always facilitates them wonderfully. The world Matt has built is funny, but has depth! Matt’s ability to ties all these loose ends together every week is truly masterful! Plus the queer focused comedy is so refreshing! I am on the edge of my seat every week until the next podcast comes out. More! More! More!

I was new to D&D when I started listening to this podcast and it’s honestly given me a lot of courage while playing with my friends! We all listen and love the creativity and hilarity that ensues. You gotta listen to this. It’s smart, it’s beautiful, it’s funny, and it’s heart full.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is my all time favorite. I’m queer, love playing D&D and this show hits me in just the right way. I look forward to every episode. It’s a great escape of my mundane day to day routine. Hopefully I’ll catch a live show or at least visit one of the Queens at their appearances next time I’m out in Seattle! Keep it coming!!

I am insanely impressed at the quality of storytelling in this D&D podcast (Matt Baume is a brilliant GM, by the way). It’s use of sound effects/music brings the world to life and often reminds me a bit of the D&D episodes of Community- light-hearted, funny, quirky and full of interesting twists and turns. Most importantly? The lovely Drag Queens who participate in this campaign bring all the sass, sarcasm, tea and shade of the drag community into the realm of fantasy - and it is a perfect amalgamation. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing where this story leads.

Hilarious, heartfelt, and queer as hell. The only thing that could possibly be better than this podcast would be if someone made a cartoon adaptation of it. I'm almost caught up and can't get enough!

Queens of Adventure is absolutely fabulous! I never knew I was in the middle of this Venn diagram being gay and a D&D fan. This podcast is so much fun and tells a great story. The DM and the queens are so imaginative!

Queens of Adventure is a little bit of beauty in a dark world! The queens’ wits are as sharp as their weapons, the DM is skilled at creating creative scenarios for our queens to get themselves out of, and it’s just laughs, pride, and joy the whole way through! By far the best d&d podcast I’ve ever found, and from the first notes of that amazing theme song, I am sucked into every episode. Sissy that roll!

I love this show! The player characters, the storyline, the NPCs - they are all top notch! The gameplay is fun, fast, and story-driven and the creative challenges are fantastic! I am all caught up and I don’t know how to fill the time until the next episode!

Queens of Adventure has pushed aside Savage Love as my new favorite podcast. I eagerly anticipate every new episode and am always sad when an episode ends and I realize I have to wait two weeks for the next installment. Listening to the podcast feels like I’m sitting around a table with friends. Thanks Matt and The Queens for the entertainment.

DISCLOSURE: I know the DM and his partner from when I lived in Seattle. I have never met any of the queens in person, but I saw the second live show (the one set at the amusement park). Having been in on the Queens of Adventure goodness since it first started, I was so happy to see nerd culture and drag culture collide. While it made for a great live show I wasn't so sure about the podcast format, but after giving it a few episodes I wouldn't miss an episode. Not only are the queens hilarious, the story engaging, the editing and Foley really fun, and the off-color place names amusing, there's one thing about all the queens that makes this a not-miss of a podcast: These queens are 100% committed to both their personas AND to the story. Each one takes her turn in the spotlight, supports the others, and treats the story seriously, even though the overall tone is anything but serious. You've never heard any gaming podcast like this, and you deserve the joy of experiencing it.

This podcast has been my companion on my daily commute, everyone is so funny and the story is great to listen to. Now that I’ve caught up I’m almost a little sad about it. If you like fantasy and saucy humor, this is the right place to be.

Well, not quite. But I am an amateur drag queen and D&D role player. If only they would incorporate LEGOs, knitting and model trains and my world would be complete, lol.

Guffaws abound when listening to Queens of Adventure. This party can role-play the hell out of a 10 foot walk down a dungeon hallway in an hour long show and don't need to even slay monsters due to their own barbed banter. For an adults-only podcast, you'll be blushing when the players slash or poke with their weapons and words. Matt's a fantastic DM as well with inventive storylines. I'm always looking forward to the next episode and enthusiastic dirty jokes!

When I first heard about Queens of Adventure I knew it was everything I didn’t even know I had always wanted and I haven’t been disappointed. Fun, hilarious and creative!

One of the ways that DMs get better at being DMs is by watching/listening to other DMs run games, especially games that are differnt than the ones you run. Yes, this podcast is great drag fun! Yes, it's fierce! But, Matt Baume is also great DM, and his table is a great example of playful, inclusive, RP set to 11! These ladies are professional roleplayers, and this game may be nothing like your home game, but...listen to it in hopes that a tiny bit of glitter from their game gets on you and ends up on the table at your home game. Listen to as many actual play podcasts as you can and make sure Queens of Adventure is in your rotation!

I came for the drag queens rolling dice and stayed for the Kate Bush references. Matt is an impressive DM and the queens do an excellent job of balancing their chaotic and lawful tendencies to maintain the drama but still push the narrative forward. If "The Lord of the Rings" and "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" had a love child, it would sound just like Queens of Adventure. DM Matt Baum weaves an engaging story with some incredible voice acting, while the Queens save the day with equal parts ingenuity and sass. Two stilletos up!

The best of both drag and DnD worlds with 1) a catchy theme song 2) a DM who doubles as several unique minor character 3) fabulous drag queens and 4) plenty of Eldritch Blasts.

Love this show. The idea is smart and fun, and the execution is genius and hilarious. The players minds are bottomless holes filled with puns, innuendo, and shade. At least half a dozen times per episode, I’m in awe of how smart and quick the queens are. Matt has clearly gotten more knowledge and confidence in his role as DM, so it’s been great to hear him grow. My only complaint is a lack of the small man wearing a bow tie at a podium in the hotel. He’s a great character who demands more air time.

Dungeons and drag queens, what else could you ask for? It's funny, it's sassy, and super fun. I love this podcast.

This show is AWESOME. I binged Critical Role (VM campaign), have just finished the balance arc of the Adventure Zone, and this is the best live-play follow-up podcast I’ve found yet. DM Matt Baume weaves an immersive story filled with original monsters and puzzles, and the queens are resourceful adventurers, not to mention positively hilarious. The live show recordings involve the audience in ingenious ways. All the nerdiness of tabletop RPG combined with the stunning charisma & theater of seasoned drag queens : a perfect harmony this cishet white dude didn’t realize he needed in his life !

This spirited blend of fantasy adventure and camp romp works better than anyone could have expected. You will literally LOL.

This is equal parts amazing D&D story and drag improv performance. I have chuckled out loud at work binging this great show. If you ever get the chance to see this show live at the Timbre Room in Seattle, I highly recommend it! ...and never trust a Pomeranian further than the fiery pit you threw it in!

As a D&D dork and a queer lady, this show gets me like no other! Just as I was thinking “what is your damage Heather” Matt Baume delivers. Any show that can channel Veronica Sawyer in the middle of a battle with tentacle monsters and shark boy (of shark boy and lava girl fame) has my vote.

Omg these queens are hilarious! So much fun and each campaign is very cleverly written. A perfect audio accompaniment to my day during Pride month!

It was so amazing to finally hear the season opener! As a lifelong queer D&D nerd, I think the Queens are one of the very best ambassadors the tabletop RPG community has right now! Their fierce, fun, and sometimes savage approach to the game makes roleplaying accessible in a unique way, and fosters the inclusive, loving environment the gaming community has become!

My husband is a big D&D nerd and I have a lifelong love of drag queens, so when he found the Kickstarter for this, these newlyweds were sold! Episodes 0 and 1 were fantastic and we can’t wait for more!

I have fallen in love with this podcast. I had stopped listening to podcasts but then I heard about this one and I was hooked in the first five minutes. I live dnd and do play myself but the queens just make it infinitely better. I hope they do a live show in Northern California at some point as I would love to see them live!!
