I love this podcast. It’s probably the one podcast that I consistently go back to over and over again. There’s no waste of time, they jump right into it, and the guests are incredible and diversified.I love listening to Scott 😊 He’s quirky and funny. I often share episodes with my work team.

I love this podcast and the content. However, I have to listen on max volume and even that sometimes I cannot hear the host for some reason. If Im in a loud room I don’t even attempt to listen to it. I’ve seem the same feedback from other reviews. I hope this is fixed soon.

I enjoy the content, but within the last month or so, it has become hard to hear the host. It’s as if he is sitting 10 feet away from the mic. No issue overall hearing his guests most of the time. Don’t have this issue with any of the other podcasts I follow and listen to regularly. About to unsubscribe as frustrating to try to listen.

The topics and actual content from the proven leaders/authors are great…. But I want to throw up with the way Scott can’t help himself From these obnoxious self promotions/self congratulatory and completely unnecessary aside comments about his own career and background. We’re listening to learn and be inspired by the authors… I don’t care about your background Scott, it doesn’t matter how big or great Franklin Covey is or how much it has been published… if ya’ll were so great you wouldn’t need to devote so much air time promoting yourselves. Let your work speak for itself…. Nobody cares that you worked for the mouse in HR 20 years ago and maybe ask yourself “is this relevant to the listener or am I just looking for any excuse to make this about me me me?”

I listen to 20 mins of podcast 188 and decided to unsubscribe( 4th or 5th one I have tried). I did not feel as though that was a productive 20 mins. There was 1-2 good statements but no tangible suggestions. This podcast did not promote any sort of critical thinking.

I loved the October 12th interview with Dorie on the long game and how she constantly disrupts herself. Also the hidden benefits of frenzie. Some guests have been on multiple other shows but with Scott, you can always rely on unique questions that bring out never before heard insights from his guests.

Scott doesn’t know this but he’s one of my mentors. I had the pleasure of finally meeting him recently when he was kind enough to speak to our group in Dallas. I’ve enjoyed his books but this podcast takes everything to a new level for me. Thank you for taking time to bring content that truly connects with your listeners and helps us grow as leaders.

Scott consistently brings out the best nuggets of the keys to excellent leadership skills. He weaves a great story from each podcast guest. The guests are clearly comfortable and relaxed and go further in-depth with the reason Scott selected them and their book. Scott brings us the best of the best. I am so pleased to have found a place to gain the knowledge on leadership skills for the workplace and the home front.

I love listening to Scott engage with these great thinkers and game-changers. It’s also greatly broadened my reading list, as I love to read all the books these folks write.

Was a fan of this podcast, and am an avid disciple of the Seven Habits. But the last podcast with Janice laid out some serious concerns with the inability of the host to know his own blind spots. His comments re: Latina women were inappropriate, and he and his guest were both critical of those showing their culture if it conflicted with the way Caucasian women should present themselves. I am not Latino or Latina but I became very aware that this is a podcast geared toward white men and women when those comments were made. This is unfortunate, because this is supposed to be a podcast about leadership and not about exclusivity. 95% of the content is actually legitimate. But I don’t feel that I can support a podcast that is unwilling to even try to understand another person’s point of view - ie what Shakira and Jennifer Lopez were trying to say. Sadly unsubscribing and can no longer recommend to my corporate colleagues. “seek first to understand ...”

Before I work for my job, I work on myself. During my commute, I listen to FranklinCovey On Leadership and expose myself to new ideas, and challenge myself to grow as a leader. It’s become a habit to queue it up on my way out the door and to listen on my way down the canyon to work. So far, my favorite episodes were Stephen M R covey on trust, Daniel pink on timing, and Liz Wiseman on being a multiplier. Take the time to invest in yourself and give it a listen!

I like the variety of topics and background of the guests. In each episode I’ve found hidden gems that I can apply to make my day-to-day relationships, thinking, and productivity better. The value of this show is in increase my self-awareness by examining the behaviors and the mindset behind them.
