Instead of ripping KAT for an hour on the Knicks pod, how about listening to what the host had to say about Randle and DDV? Been listening for several years now, and obviously you’ve had takes on KATs personality and performance. Usually walking the line between criticizing and defending. But now that he’s gone you really let it rip. It’s almost like someone told you it was ok to empty the notebook now that he’s gone. I would suggest listening more and talking less. Might hear something new or interesting.

Dane combines his own knowledge and observations along with insights from a deep bench of guests. He brings on all the beat writers and other reporters who cover the team daily, which allows a true insight into all things Timberwolves.

Even if you’re not a Timberwolves fan the depth of analysis and top notch guests are a must listen.

This podcast is super informative and gives an in depth look into the Wolves. My only complaint is maybe my old man is showing but the excessive use of the word “like” makes it difficult to finish more often than not.

Dane and co provide excellent deep dive analysis of the wolves. Good combo of advanced metrics by Dane and observational takes by local veteran hoops journalists (Britt, jace, that other guy). Kyle is good too.

Dane’s podcast is fantastic. I’ve been listening for a few years now, and literally don’t miss an episode. Dane manages to strike a fine balance between evidence based hope and realistic views. I wouldn’t call him a homer by any stretch, he gives it to the listener as straight as he can with statistics and very well understood analysis in a relatable way. Add to that a great list of guests including the irreverently sardonic (I hope he’s proud of me for that) Britt Robson, Kyle Theige, who knows more than he gives himself credit for, and the Minneapolis Beatsie boys from the Strib and PP, Jace, and Chris. Great show! Highly recommend it.

Love this podcast as a Wolves fan who moved from Minneapolis to New York this is one of my go to podcasts for up to date Wolves news. Dane is one of the most knowledgeable guys I know regarding Wolves content.

Long time listener of audio show. Love it! Wondering how I feel about the UTube add as I know I won’t watch. The current show is the first where the episode refers to video footage but Dane and Kyle really did not adequately describe the video so it was somewhat “dead air.” Comments like “look at that dime” tell the listener nothing about why it was cool. Hopefully with practice you will become more fluid but for now I will wait and see. Good luck on the new venture.

Can't recommended this podcast enough! Obviously for Timberwolves fans but also I got my dad who isn't a Wolves fan listening to this as well because Dane's basketball knowledge is kind of unmatched. Plus the guests each bring their own twist to it which makes it really fun!

Please stop having this Britt Robson clown on. This takes are awful and his voice is worse than RFKjrs. My dad gives better wolves commentary after a 12 pack having watched only 5 games a season. Geezus!

Been listening to Dane since the 2019 season and is easily my favorite podcast to listen to. Dane and his guests provide important context on the team and they do a great job Rolf breaking down the Xs and Os of the game. Even in a season going well under .500, Dane still made the games interesting to watch. I would love to get a collab pod where multiple guests come on at the same time. Would die for Britt to become a co-host as well and sit in on the pods with Kyle and Jace!

This show is a must listen for any Wolves fan. Great analysis with wonderful guests - if you’re not already listening you’re making a big mistake. My only complaint is that now I can’t help but talk about the Timberwolves ad nauseam and I’m really grasping at straws to introduce them to the conversation. “Hey man how was your weekend?” “Oh it was good, had a busy week so we took it slow. Ya know, really reminds me of how good Slow Mo is in clutch time.” “Did you see that McDonalds is discontinuing the McRib?” “No, but did you see that McDaniels is discontinuing every star player he’s matched up against?” Other than that, the pod is great.

Don’t know much about Dane. I’m a Sixers fan. But hearing his story on Tjarks and his emotion, I know he’s a guy I’d want to read/listen to.

The wolves have been blessed with some amazing talent everywhere but on the court over the years. Dane is a huge part of that. Guys like him, Britt, and Jon do such a great job with their reporting and covering the team. The broadcast crew and digital staff on the team are awesome and it makes the fan experience so much better. Especially now that the team is elevating to contender level. Wolves 2023 nba champs - book it.

As a fan base the wolves are really lucky to have Dane. He does a tremendous job covering the team without bias and providing interesting perspectives and takes. Listening to Dane reminds of a really good college professor who everyone enjoys. He is well spoken and never seems to force any narrative or idea he doesn’t believe. Also how could you not love Britt… Even though they are quite different personalities they play off each other perfectly. Listening to this pod is truly a highlight of my day when they come out. Keep up the great work Dane!!!

When does the Dane & Britt sitcom come out?

What a treat to have Dane breaking down all things Wolves. He digs deeper than most but does so in an accessible way. Dane is a well articulated basketball junky who has found his lane as the realist in a market overflowing with sports takes intended to stir the pot with negativity or pump the fan base up with irrational confidence.

Dane’s podcast is as essential to Timberwolves coverage as Jon K’s reporting. Dane’s work with Britt Robson is consistently the best analysis you’ll find on the state of the Wolves, period.

As a wolves fan I often don’t have people to talk with about my massive interest in the team. So listening to Dane’s and guest’s point of view; and insight that broadens my view on the team is invaluable.

I’ve been listening to every episode for the past couple of years. Even without being able to see most of the games, I feel very connected to the team via Dane’s podcast. A real treat especially during covid. I love the episodes with Britt. Dane really knows his basketball.

His podcast and ringer are my two favorites. A must since Raised by Wolves.
