Love the podcast! I only discovered it waaaayy after the show ended but love hearing fans discussing episodes in depth and having a brand new watcher’s perspective is very refreshing.

This podcast has taken over my life in the same way Supernatural did in high school. I stopped watching the show after season 10, but I often get nostalgic for it and this podcast is the perfect remedy. When you don’t have the time or energy to rewatch 10 seasons of a show, what better way to relive it than listen to two (rapidly becoming 3) fans rave, critique, cry, and just above all enjoy the show? I listen to this at work all the time, and now that I’m caught up, I don’t know what to do with myself. 10/10, would highly recommend for anyone who used to be into Supernatural, stopped watching, but still remembers their time watching the show fondly.

I adore this delightfully funny and insightful podcast about Supernatural, one of my favorite TV shows. Longtime fan Matt, his friend and fanfiction writer PG, and PG's younger sister Jess -- who had never seen an episode of Supernatural in her life before this -- all have interesting takes on characters and episodes, and I look forward to hearing them every week. It's sort of like seeing a friend watch your favorite show after you've recommended it. In honor of their podcast title, here are 14 things to love about their podcast. 1. Matt's recap of every episode in his low, gravelly "supernatural" voice, which is a joke Jess doesn't really get yet;; 2. The No Closure Award given to a character at the end of each episode; 3. The constant side tangents about HIPPA violations, the number of medical personnel in a room during a code and other unrealistic scenes in hospitals; 4. Matt's fury over how "Bugs" is solved "WITH A COMMERCIAL BREAK!"; 5.Jess's determination not to get spoiled about *anything*; 6. PG's vague references to Matt about things that happen in future episodes, but which she can't spell out because Jess can't be spoiled; 7. Matt, when asked whether he's a "Dean" or a "Sam", saying he's a "Misha"; 8. How much Jess hates Meg; 9. Jacket wars with Mittensmorgul on tumblr; (running out of funny ones and getting into serious ones) 10. Each of the hosts is really great, with takes on the show and characters that are always interesting and distinct from one another; 11. It's cool that there are actually a pair of siblings on a podcast talking about a show about a pair of siblings. For one episode, Matt's brother came on -- and he was funny and great to have as a guest -- so there were *two* sets of siblings on for that one; 12. Getting to vicariously relive the early episodes through Jess and listen to her become more invested in the plot and characters; 13. Looking forward to Jess's reactions to major events, characters, funny lines and other things that make Supernatural a good show. 14. When Jess makes a prediction -- or even just a comment -- that's either wildly inaccurate or spot-on about the future of the show.

I usually listen to this when I’m at the gym and I’m pretty sure people think I’m crazy for smiling or snickering like a fool while working out. I’ve seen all the episodes before so listening to someone watch them for the first time and having nearly all of the same reactions or thoughts that I had when I first watched is just really neat. Also, I definitely thought I knew almost all there was to know about the show, but somehow Matt surprises me with facts that I have never heard of. These guys are just easy to listen to, are lighthearted in their discussions while also hitting on the deeper feelings and emotions some episodes can bring out, and all around very amusing and entertaining to listen to. I can’t wait for them to get to some of my favorite episodes, I really look forward to Jess’ reactions to things to come. Overall, a great and relaxing podcast for both long time fans of the show, or new viewers!

As someone who’s been watching supernatural on a loop for the better part of a decade, I love this podcast. For anyone who’s never watched the show and wants to begin a watch-along with an episode by episode commentary that’s both insightful and entertaining, I highly recommend this podcast. For me this brings back the excitement of watching the show for the first time, combined with the second-hand thrill of biting my tongue every time PG and Matt ask Jess how she thinks the story will progress. Love y’all, and thanks for my weekly obsession that’s become an essential part of my eternal supernatural rewatch 😁
