Positives: Kudos for building a show and creating content. Clearly enthusiastic. Negatives: Projects. Not sure why he feels the need to bash some of his listener base. Clearly he takes things personally, as he claims others do to him and his guests. It’s ok to have incorrect preseason expectations for teams. But claiming things are a certain way because you’ve seen it before in the history of a school doesn’t hold water in today’s day and age like it used to. Entirely different groups of people/players/coaches, and the highest level of year to year turnover in personnel than ever before. Take off history’s glasses and instead seek to see and talk about teams from a clear headed space of what they are presently. I guarantee you the players and coaches expectations for their ceiling are higher than the ones you perscribe to them. And that’s what matters to accurately assess matchups week to week. Anyways, keep it up and good luck the rest of the way.

The Ads at the beginning are too long, but the content is overall pretty great. I like Chris, Cole and Dave. They all have different personalities but a good understanding of the SEC. Hopefully they cut down on the ads soon, though.

They’re just too frequent, and they’re horribly placed, like literally in the middle of sentences. Comes off very unprofessional. But like I said, the content is great. Fix those two issues and it’s 5 stars from me

If you’re looking for a show where the host wears garnet-colored glasses, move along. Chris tells it like he sees it and doesn’t apologize for it. He brings as much passion for USC as he does objectivity. It’s no accident that TSUS is where it is today.

Living outside of SC this fills a podcast void of good Gamecock coverage. This podcast has the faults similar to many other radio host and livestreams that are watching comments where most shows are just too long. When listening it feels they have a time slot to fill.

I’m a huge Carolina fan and I don’t like hearing people beat around the bush and sugar coat things when it’s come to Carolina football. Chris does a good of job of being realistic in his breakdowns and I appreciate it. It makes me set proper expectations for every Saturday. Found this one recently as I’m a loyal Gamecock fan far away from Carolina, but excited for 2021. This podcast is excellent for USC football fans. TSUS is definitely another excited, devout Gamecock fan but he’s objective also. Good recruiting takes. Good content, good analysis, some good interviews, great energy. The “South gunnuh” or “sowgunnuh” is distracting but only knock. 5 stars, highly recommend if you’re getting amped for the fall.

Long time listener of the show and I really enjoy it. Great way to stay up to date with gamecock news, awesome interviews, and a lot of passion in what he does and the gamecock program. Sometimes the voicemail section is a little long however it is a cool way for listener interaction.

The show is fine, he provides great interviews with former players and I’m cool with the majority of his takes. However, I’ve never seen someone who was so thirsty to matter. Honestly, if Chris wasn’t such a ego thirsty dick this would be the best Gamecock Podcast. But it’s not. He’s just not likable.

I love that Chris is not afraid to talk about the unpopular opinion. It gives a realistic outlook about gamecock sports, rather than what all the fans want to hear.

Chris puts out content regularly with original thoughts and unique takes. He isn’t looking for shock and awe, though he gets it sometimes, and he isn’t unrealistic in his expectations. His interviews with, ex-players, alums, etc. are great and provide some cool perspectives for Gamecock athletics and otherwise.

Chris generally has well thought out views and positions. His logic is solid, and unlike most SC websites & podcasts, is realistic. Not a sunshine pumping podcast. Chris gets a lot of heat for some of his antics, which is deserved on some occasions. CPHILLY analysis is solid. He is not an insider so not a lot of insight in that regard.
