    Manipulator
If you listen real closely, this guy rolled over and has become a classic “nice guy” for her in order to soothe her emotional rollercoaster. He’ll be a shell of a man and she’ll lose attraction and respect for him.

E.J. and Tarah are truly incredible with their relationship renovation podcast, creating a space that feels equal parts inspiring, supportive, and transformative. Their ability to dive into the complexities of relationships with honesty, wisdom, and compassion is nothing short of amazing. Each episode feels like a heartfelt conversation with trusted friends, and the insights they share have had such a positive impact on my life and relationships. I couldn’t be more grateful to have them and their team as part of my journey—bringing clarity, encouragement, and practical tools to every step along the way. Great info
There’s lots of good information. They present it really well. They use real examples, usually from their own life, and help us understand what’s going on and how to handle it.

    Just getting started…
I’ve only listened to one episode so far, but I’ll be listening to many more! Smart, wise, and gentle marriage advice we ALL need!

    So thankful for this podcast
I’m so thankful for this podcast. They dive into issues that couples face. They have a way of making you feel like you’re not alone and will make it as long as you do the work. Not only the work on the relationship but also on yourself. I drive 2.5 hours a day round trip to work and this is what I binge listen to. Thank you and please continue ♥️ Jessica Chicke

    Great!
Listened to their two episodes from abt 11/2-11/11 and they were great, actually wish I had them to listen to just a bit sooner but they spoke abt things that definitely went with my just now recent relationship that allowed me to see how I could’ve taken a different approach. You guys are a great team ! Thank you for the therapy session!

    Emotional Safety
Episode November 3, shook me to the core! Thank you. I finally got some clarity!

Hoping these will open our eyes
Me and my husband have not had it easy... he doesn't deal well with conflict and difficult discussions, therefore, his needs get neglected.. and feels we aren't a match. I can't fix anything if I don't know a fix is needed... one episode and I learned that our ways of dealing with conflict are different based on our family life growing up... my response to conflict makes it difficult for him to feel emotional safety.. things I had never considered. I sent him an episode that I felt hit a lot of our issues... he says he's open to keep trying. Fingers crossed I don't have to hear he's giving up again.

    The Struggle is Real
Wow, super uncomfortable to hear what even the relationship experts go through! The insights and advice are help. I see myself in Tara in a sense-one foot out the door, and with EJ I see my partner he tries so hard but stays internal. Thanks you guys

I found you guys on accident and listened to your first podcast on 7/10/23–the episode on helping a depressed partner. This was so helpful and thank you guys for sharing! Was good to know I was not alone. Had my husband listen and he finally understands.

    Loving it!
I absolutely know this is not a substitution for couples therapy/ counseling. With that being said, they offer amazing advice, wisdom and thoughts to ponder on to bring into your relationships. The episode with Alexandra Stockwell was absolutely amazing and I look forward to the follow up episode!

    Great advice!
Ej and Tarah present everything in such a down to earth way. I just started listening today after an argument with my wife, to try to gain some insight. The episodes I’ve listened to so far have been very helpful. I can relate to pretty much everything they talk about. Keep up the awesome work, and thank you!

Insightful, kind, and very, very relatable
It’s easy to bounce around relationship and therapy podcasts looking for the right fit. I landed with EJ and Tarah and haven’t gone anywhere else since. Their discussions are always so insightful and they aren’t afraid to personalize their advice with their own experiences and struggles to grow individually and in their relationship. You really can tell you’re in good hands with this couple. Thank you.

Tackling some challenging topics with aplomb
I love how they tackle some challenging topics with the aplomb of people that really know what they’re talking about as professionals, but also that have lived it, and have a healthier relationship thanks to the tools they use for better communication.

    Very good podcast!!
This podcast is very helpful! I am learning a lot and I am appreciating their honesty and vulnerability that is revealed on this podcast! If you are married this is highly recommended and even if you’re single this will be soooo helpful!!!
  • drudah1
    Very helpful for me
I have not heard even half of your podcasts so far. But I really have gotten so much out of several of them that I have listened to. I especially like “changing together” as You two spoke about your relationship experience. And “Shift happens” 😌 We have our first appointment on September 23 and I think this is helping with some pre-therapy preparation - at least for me I don’t know about my partner…So far every podcast I’ve heard has been educational and constructive. Thank you both for what you are doing to help us out. “Us” meaning we couples that are listening. Keep it up 👍🏽

Crazy: Reclaiming Life from the Shadow of Traumatic Memory
E.J. and Tara were enthusiastic, respectful interviewers. They met with me prior to the podcast recording and made me feel safe and comfortable. They were knowledgeable about the subject I was talking about and helped to guide the interview in helpful ways. I enjoyed this podcast and recommend them to anyone considering appearing on their show.

Tarah and EJ are relation savers!
Our marriage was hanging by a thread and nearing the end after 20 years of marriage and multiple issues when we started seeing Tarah and EJ. They taught us how to work on us and communicate again and we are now nearing our 22 anniversary. They are so knowledgeable and having both of their perspectives during our sessions was invaluable! Marriage will always be work but that doesn't mean that it can't still be enjoyable work.
