Anastasia B. C.Awesome Podcast for Homeschooling All AgesI adopted my little brother a few years ago, and he’s now a teen. After navigating disappointments and heartbreaking situations in public school, my husband and I made the decision to start homeschooling him two semesters ago. It seems like most parents start homeschool before children reach their teen years, so there’s been moments of feeling lonely or lost in the homeschool world. What once felt overwhelming has blossomed into the most beautiful gift; my brother is thriving academically, socially, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. There’s been trial and error, a learning curve, and grace from God. Many thanks go to this podcast. It has been a supportive and wonderful resource. Give it a listen for ideas around lessons, structure, and parenting.

nm1694Love this podcast! This is exactly what I was looking for as a mom about to start homeschooling her kindergartener. I’m super anxious about it and just listening has given me the encouragement and motivation I was looking for! Thank you for making this!
-
kristenhallThe encouragement I neededI found this podcast at exactly the right time. Homeschooling is very new to me and I never really thought it would be something I wanted to do. As my kids were getting older and starting school soon the thought came to me and it wouldn’t go away. I just couldn’t shake it and as I prayed about it more I felt like it was something God was calling me to do. I haven’t had much support around me. I’ve lost friends, butted heads with family, and overall felt really defeated and discouraged. Even started questioning if this fight was worth it. Then I found this podcast. It’s been the encouragement I needed so badly. I feel supported and seen when I listen. Definitely recommend!

Countryside homeschoolJust starting out!I am currently finishing up my 9th and final year of teaching in the public school setting. This year I started to really feel the call that I should be home with my three children and to top that off my middle child who is in kindergarten was diagnosed with ADHD and is not thriving in the public school environment. When my husband and I made the decision to homeschool I naturally started researching and came across your podcast. I promptly went all the way back to episode one and have started there and have only made it to episode 40 so far. I just want to thank you so much for making me feel like I’ve got this! It is so amazing to see that my family is not alone in wanting these amazing things for our kids. Your podcast makes me feel like I have someone there helping me walk through the process of starting. Thank you so much for your inspiration!

Kristen Lynn TerryI’ve been bolsteredI’m am so grateful that I was guided to this podcast. I’ve been bolstered, edified, and my conviction strengthened to keep on the homeschool path. We’re in our 3rd year of homeschool and I still feel like I’m figuring it out, but this podcast has given me a sense of community, comradery, and ideas that I plan to use in our homeschool. Thank you so much for creating and sticking to this amazing homeschool resource Meg! So grateful for you.

kimber4475ADHDI really pray you go back and research ADHD and change your views a little .. ADHD can not be fixed with food. Symptoms can be managed with food. ADHD is 100% hereditary.. go check out Dr. Russell Barkley and look at his findings over that past 40 years. ADHD is not an opinion and it’s dangerous to not look at the whole of it.

amandab5414So glad I found this!!In just the first 3-4 episodes they have answered all the questions and doubts I had about homeschooling. We will be first time homeschooling in August and they’ve really given me the courage to start! Sooo glad I found this podcast.

kjsenakHopeful, Life-Giving, Encouraging!I have felt called to homeschool once I had my first child. Feeling like I could never do it, I disregarded it as a possible option. I’ve had so many questions that I couldn’t find the answer to. One day, after a conversation with my husband, we decided we are going to go for it (my firstborn will be in Kindergarten this fall) so I started searching podcasts. I found this podcast and haven’t looked back. All of my questions have been answered! All my fears have been normalized, and my convictions have been confirmed. I love listening. Each episode is an easy listen and I truly believe God brought this podcast into my life! It is life-giving and helpful! 10/10 recommend ☺️

wonderfullywhitten1st Time Homeschool MommaSoooo glad I found your podcast!!! As a first time homeschool momma there have been so many questions and feelings of not being enough, but listening to your podcast helps me know that I’m not alone! When I’m feeling less than as a homeschooling momma I just put in an episode and almost instantly feel better! Thank you for sharing your wisdom 😊

GretheMackShort & sweet encouragement!I actually don’t fully homeschool yet but I’m home full-time with young kiddos (2, 4, and one on the way) and plan to homeschool. So many of these episodes are super helpful to my days and also make me feel more prepared to confidently choose the path of homeschooling. Short, sweet, & simple episodes make it easy to listen to before the kids get up in the morning to set me off on the right foot throughout the day. Thank you!
-
BoyMom2851Encouraging!!I’m so thankful I found this podcast shortly after beginning my homeschool journey! Instead of making me feel like I wasn’t doing enough or not doing things “the right way”, I continue to come back to this podcast because Meg delivers helpful insights in an encouraging and uplifting way. I truly get the feeling she’s rooting for us homeschool families and is fighting with us in our corner to stick with it and make it our own.

Searwen18Life ChangingThis is the first time I’ve ever left a podcast review (and I listen to a lot of podcasts) but I needed to review this one. I’ve been binge listening for almost 3 months now (I’ve almost caught up as I listened from the beginning). I found it the night I decided to homeschool and it has not only been a fantastic help for my homeschooling but it has changed my outlook on parenting and allowing me to embrace and put into practice the vision I’ve had for home for years but was unsure how to start changing myself to reach that vision. So so grateful for this and I’m starting to see the affect in the spirit in our home and in our relationships. I would recommend this podcast with all my heart! Thank you!!

lanalovesAMERICAAlmost quit- homeschool until….So I started my first week of homeschool and realize that my son is in a higher grade and he is going to be doing a lot more things so I almost went to the school district and registered him in public school so I wouldn’t have to deal with the craziness.I have another child who does homeschool and he’s really hard to keep him to pay attention. On top of that - run my business plus do all my husband’s paperwork of his business plus keep my house in order and follow through all the volunteering with church and running two book studies- Bible and women’s (moms) studies to keep all of us to be strong Christian moms!So I have a lot on my plate and realize I have to let go at least one thing. And I almost gave up my oldest to go to public school.Had a major meltdown and I pray to God just give me strength what do I need to do.And I love to listen to podcast while I run my business just to have some educational things go through my head and I figured I’ll just put homeschool to calm my nerves and maybe someone has a secret plan or a secret way of doing home school the right way.And I found your podcast and it gave me so much advice so much peace and I listened to 10 of your podcast and one day just to give me sanity.Anyways it help me a lot and now most importantly continuing homeschool with both of my boys and trying to still run my house in order. Some days are really hard but then I just go back to the Bible breathe pray to God and start all over.Your last podcast it’s a baby really gave me more peace and realize my house doesn’t have to be spotless and to keep my focus on Jesus and try to get my kids through me that Jesus is my all even through hard days.Plus I just join your no yelling club on Facebook because that is one of my struggles for years. The book study I’m doing with bunch of moms is called in for mamas and I started the gentle challenge and I just need an extra boost.Thank you so much for everything you do and speaking life to us mamas.
-
BeetysoleThe best!Hands down my favorite podcast. The length of the episodes is perfect. The topics are so helpful in my homeschooling and my life. She is so relatable and faith filled.

Fitlatina__Thank you MegThank you for being so open, honest and cheerful. It never crossed my mind to homeschool my kids, my motivation was seeing my kids bored and not being challenged at a private school. Since I started listening to you I gained confidence, awareness, the desire of being a part of my kids knowledge. I am super grateful for the hard work you do to educate, inspire, guide all of us. I feel your deeply desire of seeing us succeed as homeschool moms. Thank you again🤍

becky_shippGreat for Homeschooling Motivation!I’ve been homeschooling for 5 years, and I was starting to get burnt out. I’ve been dreading the end of summer vacation. But listening to this podcast has really gotten me excited about the upcoming school year. It’s given me some new ideas and encouragement, and now I can’t wait for the year to start!

ErikaLHoffEvaluating my homeschool and learning about myself along the wayMeg has helped me realized that I’m in more of a personal slumber than I thought, but through each of her concise episodes (and other online events) I’ve felt a renewed sense of purpose in my homeschool and my own self-interests. I’m slowly starting to realize and learn how to rekindle my relationship with my kids to be what I desire it to be. The one I imagined when I first started homeschooling, before life got busy, had more kids and I got distracted by other things. I WANT to raise capable and God fearing children and I AM the best person in their life to do it. Thank you for your encouragement Meg, and thank you for all the content you create and share.

sjnewspaperphileMeg is Awesome!I discovered Meg when I was researching homeschool and I am so glad I did. Her episodes are not long yet full of gems to tuck away as moms who want the best for their kiddos while maintaining sanity and one’s priorities. I hope she continues to find inspiration for her podcasts so we can benefit!
-
JakprintsAmazingly Inspirational!Meg is amazing to listen to and so inspiring on how to stay cool and get it done. I found her podcast a few months ago and it has given me the inspiration and belief that I can homeschool my twin boys despite the hurdles. I look forward to each new episode and inspiration to come. -
NebStefRBeautiful podcast for homeschoolersI’m a new listener and absolutely love Meg’s approach to homeschool and creating peace in the home. I’ve gained some excellent insights, and many of her topics have spoken directly to a need or concern at the moment.
-
Chichi PetiteThe Motivation I Needed!I’d convinced myself I would never be able to homeschool my children. I didn’t have the patience, I wouldn’t be able to provide the same benefits a public school would. Until the pandemic, and Meg showed me I am the best teacher my children can have. I’ve learned so much from this podcast, and the support, motivation, and guidance Meg provides has given me the confidence to keep going and reminds me of what is most important.
-
happyhome4LOVE this podcast!!I found this podcast right at the beginning of my homeschool journey and I am SOO grateful I did!! It has been the foundation of our homeschool experience. JanaPurpleI just re-signed into itunes after 10 years so I could write this review!About a year ago I typed "homeschool" into Spotify. I was about to begin my second year of homeschooling my then 7 year old, but still felt lost and overwhelmed. Oh.My.Gosh. This podcast is so great! Every single time I listen I take something away, and it's not even always about homeschooling! I cannot thank Meg enough!
-
Vt blazerMegan talks to my soulLove this podcast as a Megan is like that friend who has those deep conversations and doesn’t shy away from the tough topics. I feel encouraged after each episode that I’m not alone and leave each episode with little nuggets of knowledge with action plans I can implement. Love this podcast. The positive energy and the real life take she has in each episode. And she doesn’t edit anything so it’s raw and real!
-

Andrea BoshardLIFE CHANGING!!!I am a follower, a listener, a member & A BELIEVER! Meg has changed my life & my family FOREVER FOR THE BETTER! Her tried & true tools for homeschool have helped guide me through my first year. We ALL LOVE HOMESCHOOL thanks to Meg. You have got to sign up for mamas members. This is where she has fine tuned my life & my needs in this journey. Thank you Meg for all that you have done. This would’ve been a lot harder alone. You have helped me have faith & confidence in myself.
-
Liz WheelerBlessings!I came across your podcast a couple months ago and have been so encouraged and blessed this year, even though it’s our fifth year homeschooling! You have also been a wonderful witness to your faith and I find so much truth in what you say. Thank you for your podcast!

-
Bethy35678So helpful and encouraging!I am heading into my second year of homeschooling and I felt like our first year was a total failure. I was discouraged and looking into this 2nd year of homeschooling was daunting and I just wasn’t sure what I was even supposed to do. Finding this podcast just gave me so much encouragement and so many ideas! I’d recommend it to anyone looking into homeschooling! Thank you ladies!!
-
Simply.SarahA wonderful resource!!Such a wonderful resource to not only encourage one to make the switch they’re feeling the tug toward, but reminding a seasoned homeschooling family (mom) why they started and rekindling the enthusiasm to keep going! Love, love, love this! And definitely will be recommending to anyone who asks for resources! Yay!! Thanks for your episodes, it feels like I am sitting in a kitchen with coffee listening to and are part of an actual adult conversation, which we all know is needed somedays! 💕thanks again!
-
BrittniRDubVery EncouragingJust starting my homeschool journey with my 3 year old, but it has been on my heart since he’s been born. I’m so excited but also terrified. This podcast has been very encouraging for me. Thank you.
-
cassie graserSo encouraging 💜We are new to homeschooling this year. Your podcast has given me so much confidence while embarking on this new journey!
-
HookedonDancing360Love this podcast and meg!I’m in megs mamas members. I have admired her and looked up to her as my homeschool mentor! Recently she did a podcast on “why I should never have homeschooled.” It was beautiful and raw and it made me feel so much less intimidated that I would need to have all my geese in a row in order to be a good mentor to my children. She overcame tons of adversity and was not perfect, so I can too! Grateful for her insights and willingness to share things that are uncomfortable. Thanks for doing what you do meg! Keep on inspiring!
-
KB 329.5Amazing :)I have thought about homeschooling for several years but last year my oldest was going into kindergarten and I was so worried we would butt heads and it wouldn’t work for me. He is going into first grade and we have decided to embark on homeschool this year. It’s been so nice to listen to moms who love their kids and are giving advice from experience and a place of love. I can’t wait to get started with my kids this year. Thank you so much for the encouragement!!! And yes I know we will butt heads but I can not wait to work through it together. I went from being incredibly nervous to being so excited to start listening to these two amazing women.
-
Des McCainYes, just yes! This podcast was heavily sought after. I tried a few others first and thankfully found this one not too long into my podcast search for a homeschool based podcast. Ever since I was a kid (waaaay before I was a Momma), I have felt calling to home learn. And then it just so happens that my first year home learning was during a pandemic. 👎🏽 This podcast has provided so much experience, insight and I can’t not mention the KISS method. YES! Thank you both for this podcast!
-
hellofromsamanthaSaved my sanity during pandemic homeschool!Similar to a lot of people, I chose to homeschool my children due to the pandemic. I never ever planned on it, but went into it a little over enthusiastically and eventually, my young kids became burnt out and resistant. I am so glad I found this podcast!! I have been binge listening to episodes and the perspective, advice, and fun-loving humor and grace that Meg and Karyn give has really changed my perspective and caused me to see homeschooling in a new light (I mistakenly thought I had to replicate public school). I am homeschooling again next year due to one of my daughter’s special needs/health and feel so much more equipped and excited than I had been. I almost don’t want to go back to public school because I feel so connected to my children - thanks to the new perspective I’ve gained. Thank you so much for this valuable resource!
-
KristenRN05Best adviceI just found your podcast about 2 weeks ago and I have binge listened to your podcasts. I love you guys and your personalities shine through your podcasts. I want to be your friend. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and your advice on homeschooling. I look forward to each new episode that I listen to. Thank you for your show notes. I listen a lot in the shower or in the car so I'm glad I can go back and look at what I want to write down for later.
-
Shaywoman15THIS!I have sent my kids to public school for all of their schooling. Now that my oldest is heading to college I feel more and more called to have my 5 learn at home. (Jumping in with homeschooling 5 kids starting 2021-2022 with 5!) This podcast has not only enlightened me to the many components of homeschooling but given me the encouragement that I am more than capable to be my children’s guide for their education. Not because I am highly educated but because I am their MOTHER! Thank you ladies for reminding me of my divine role!
-
jenben101010Best Podcast! ❤️I love your podcast, I listen to it all day at work, catching up on all your previous years! My husband was homeschooled K-12 and we are planning on homeschooling our kiddos as they get older. I appreciate all the knowledge I have gained from you two, truly I don’t think I’d be able to homeschool without you. I get home from work and just ramble on to my husband everything I learn from you guys and it just makes for so many great conversations. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart ❤️
-
Jewel19000It’s Like Having Lunch with Your FriendsI turn to Meg and Karyn when I am need of a homeschool boost! They are so relatable and easy going. Meg is silly, bold and down to earth. Karyn is gentle, creative and compassionate. Together they weave in and out of all the ups and downs, in and outs of homeschooling. Thank you for helping and inspiring me on my homeschool journey. ❤️
