    Sam Storms?
Your hosting Sam Storms shows you obviously lack discernment. What a shame.

Another helpful and encouraging episode on The Trinity
Thank you for this episode on the Trinity and inseparable operations! Especially helpful is how you spoke about patterning our words after the pattern in scripture!

    Matt
I have been listening to The Crossway Podcast by Matt Tully for nearly 3 years. Matt, when he interviews book authors, asks questions that would help any believer, focuses on things that would help a believer grow. The podcast not only is informative but helps one to walk closer to the Lord. I would not know about these Christian authors from so many places if I were not listening to this podcast. Thank you Matt for what you do.

Good podcast to introduce Christianity to people
I want to really thank you for this podcast. I love the book previews and the interviews. But I want to highlight one particular episode: On Apologetics: Best of episode. I really enjoyed this. Can you do more of these? Maybe On The Incarnation, or On Loving Others and just take clips from your fine podcast and give us snippets like this episode? Thank you

    Listening
I have been enjoying the conversations. They’re an excellent way to vary listening/learning from straight sermons and teaching. Also, I love hearing from authors about their new books. You can decide to get the book for further teaching!

First time Reviewer, because it is that good…
I’ve been listening to Podcasts for years but this is the FIRST podcast I’ve “reviewed” because it is so Biblical, so helpful, theologically sound and stirs my affections for God’s Word, His Church, to grow in my personal holiness and to be empowered to share the Good News, the BEST NEWS, Jesus Christ. Thank you!!

    Edifying interviews
Greatly edified by the various interviews. More recently, I enjoyed the interviews with Kevin DeYoung and Don Clark regarding the Biggest Story Bible Storybook. This book is a great resource for parents shepherding their children. Highly recommend.

    Crossway points to Christ
Crossway podcast is my favorite podcast, first and foremost because their resources intend to point their listeners to Christ. Secondly because the discussions are genuine and are not afraid to have difficult conversations. I have listened to most of their podcasts and am blessed all the more for it. Thank you for this incredible ministry.

Deep, enlightening content; humble, insightful interviewer
1/5/2022: I appreciate the release of the episode of the full audiobook about reading the Bible. This little book was encouraging, enlightening, and inspiring. Thanks again to the wonderful folks at crossway! Last review at end of 2021: I’ve been tuned in to the Crossway Podcast for over 2 years now, and the Lord has used the content in many shows to deeply move my heart and to tweak my thinking of God’s ways. Further, because I am rather new to reformed thinking, I have learned and continue to comprehend the tenants of reformed theology and daily applications of reformed thinking partly through taking in the content of this show. The Lord has often used this podcast to stir my heart and mind to better understand the tenderness of Christ, the sovereignty/providence of God, the weightiness of lament, the foundation of the sufficiency and inerrancy of the Bible, and more about the depth, wonder, and beauty of Christ’s work on the cross. I also enjoyed the interview and book intro with Carl Truman, and I was enlightened by the thoughts of the author who recently wrote the breadmaking book. However, though I’ve gained such enlightening knowledge and many morsels for daily application from the show, I am continually blessed by Matt’s thoughtful, insightful questions of each author whom he interviews. By intently listening to each show, I can easily see that Matt reads the author’s work intently and is fully prepared for each show. Further, it seems to me that Matt has a kind-hearted demeanor which shines forth in the way he communicates with his interviewees. This show’s content and effectiveness would not exist without.Matt’s deep respect and insight into his guests and his evident Christ-centered humility. I am deeply grateful to the guest authors, Matt, and the whole of the Crossway podcast team for ppresenting a show with such solid, weighty, Christ-centered content. Praise the name of Jesus forever more!

    On New Year’s Resolutions:
David Murray‘s summary statement is perfect: If anyone can be about transformation… by the renewing of our minds… it is the Christian! Yes! Thank you for thinking through and summarizing several helpful tips for growing in Christ in the year to come.… Especially by first starting with asking God what he would like to change in me.

    We’ll done
I really like Matt’s style of interviewing his guests. He bypasses the fluff and nonsense, and gives the listener excellent content. He asks great questions, which helps unpack complicated issues.

    Refreshing Christian Podcast
I really like this podcast, it hits on a wide variety of societal and laymen issues of the day and has a really diverse group of interesting guests. Every time I’m Listening and I come up with a “but what about this” thought it’s like the interviewer reads my mind and asks a challenging and smart question to his guest. Great subjects, great guests, I recommend.

    Spiritually sound
I just recently discovered this fine podcast. As a church librarian I had realized that I buy more of their books than any other publisher. I can’t read them all, but through this podcast, I’ve learned so much and been encouraged to walk more faithfully with God

    Encouraging and Rich
I’ve been binging this podcast the last few months and always find myself encouraged, challenged and spiritually fed by the many great guests and authors. The only downside is I literally want to buy every single book recommended. What a privilege to have so many faithful saints sharing their scripture-led insights and expertise to bolster the church!
  • Mt.6:24
    Jesus’ most neglected teachings...
More people & podcasts are talking these days about the things Jesus taught (in the 4 gospels), but there are a few of his teachings that almost never get serious coverage. Several references (EXCLUDING the “rich young ruler”) are made in Luke about selling all of one’s possessions & giving to the poor and then this teaching is shown to be taken seriously by the time we get to the book of Acts (end of chapters 2 & 4). Another powerful & often neglected paradigm-changing (IF taken at face value) teaching of Jesus is found in Mt. 6:24; Lk. 16:13-14). This has been called the “Two Masters teaching”, one being God/Love and the other/opposite one being money. What would Christianity look like, both inside its confines and to the world at large, if these teachings were given much more serious consideration and application? Take a leap of faith and dive deep into these teachings! ✌🏼

    Excellent!
This podcast has encouraging and insightful interviews rooted in the live-giving truth of King Jesus.

    Great Interviewer
Many podcasts have mediocre interviewers who ask questions which leave me rolling my eyes. However, what I find refreshingly unique about this podcast is Matt’s thoughtful questions and attempts (even if not always successful) to get the author to bring things into the practical realm. Matt clearly tries very hard to look at the issues from multiple angles and asks the author to address different types of people who might be listening. I always come away wanting to buy the latest book that is being talked about as well as learning a lot simply from the conversation. Highly recommended.
  • Psalm869
    Great content and great interviewer
I am consistently encouraged by the great content of the authors interviewed, but one of the main reasons this happens is because Matt knows how to ask thoughtful and perceptive questions.
  • Pookie00123
    Fantabulous! 😊
Listening to the podcast will inform, encourage, and occasionally convict. There are a different array of guests from intellectuals to speakers and moms/dads; all are trying to expound on the importance of reading, understanding, and delighting in the word of the only living God (Holy Bible). Some you may want to listen to and some you may not; but I highly suggest subscribing because the overall content, I am sure, will bless your life. 😊

    Solid and Relatable
Just listened to Joel Beeke interview on intercession of Christ. Biblically solid AND highly relatable and understandable to those of us (🙋‍♀️) without seminary degrees.
