    No point in listening unless you pay to remove ads
    Imagine you have not slept all night and its 6 am so you turn this on and skip the first few ads. You finally doze off in the middle of the podcast to be abruptly woken up at the end by a loud jarring ad! So annoyed! What is the point of this ? I can understand maybe an ad at the beginning but at the end its not helpful at all!! :/

    Whenever I’m having trouble sleeping, I listen to this and it knocks me out. I have struggled with insomnia for years! I only wish that the episodes lasted longer, even 45 mins-1 hour. That way you could just have the sleep timer to shut it off after a single episode.

    I can’t stay awake
    I get a lot of stress from all the sports and volunteering at my school but when I started listening to this podcast, I went from not being able to fall asleep for two hours, to being able to falling asleep in less than 20 minutes. Great podcast and would recommend from anyone who’s dealing with stress, anxiety, or it takes just forever to fall asleep.

    I always fall asleep in the first 5 minutes.💤This podcast is very boring… perfect for falling asleep, while the ads aren’t AMAZING, you can still skip them, or wait it out. Otherwise, the podcast is great, and will probably get you to sleep faster.😴 Here’s a good, boring, topic:Grass. Just get an article about grass growing, fall right asleep. 🥱

    The ads ruin the whole point of the show
    The topics are great; just fascinating enough to capture my brain’s focus, but not so enthralling as to keep me awake. The voice is good. Not great, but good. The high volume, high pitch, spritely ads just ruin the show. I’m fine with ads. Heck, I’d buy ads spoken by the main dude, but not the outsourced ads on the show.

    Used to be great. Pretty sure it’s an ai voice now. All robotic and I heard it glitch. Even the descriptions arc ChatGPT. U can tell. I are not fooling anyone I hate how ai is ruining everything.

    very helpful to get too sleep. i struggle with getting to sleep and finding a good podcast is impossible. this one works amazingly though. definitely recommend!!!

    Literally is so good for helping me sleep! There’s a rather annoying but understandable ad break at the beginning, but it is easy to skip over and the rest of the podcast is just perfect! I really enjoy learning these random facts as I drift off to sleep! Thank you so much for this idea!

    I play this at .75 speed. His calming voice slowed down…every time I put on an episode I think…there’s no way I’ll be able to fall asleep before this is over. I have been wrong 100% of the time. 10/10

    I have an awful time sleeping, but this podcast is the best I’ve found by far. Would highly recommend to all, was specifically drawn to the Kaladin episode as an avid fan and reader of the Cosmere and Stormlight Archive. Please listen, it’s the best!

    I’ll admit I didn’t think this would work at all. Even after reading some reviews that promised good results, I was very skeptical about it’s ability to actually put me to sleep. Regardless, I went ahead and started listening to the podcast after many other attempts to fall asleep, including using other podcasts and meditations. I listened to one episode, and I don’t remember anything else that happened. I was fast asleep. It worked like a charm, and I’m very impressed with how much it helped me. Overall, you should give this podcast a try, even if you don’t think it will work for you.

    For some reason Benjamin decided to speed up his reads which makes it difficult to drift off. Much prefer 2022 pacing.

    Pseudoscience and Dr Mark Hyman - I just can’t anymore
    So, the Alkaline water was some pseudoscience. If you could change your body’s pH that much you’d be dead. Alkaline water is a scam. Now Dr Mark Hyman? That is just dangerous and irresponsible. I’m done. I can’t listen any longer or promote this to my family, friends, or my students.

    I don’t mind podcasts with ads. Advertising here isn’t the issue at all. But yikes the ads are so dang loud and jarring. Other podcasters I listen to do their own ads which would benefit this sleep podcast substantially. I normally don’t write reviews but I really want to give this feedback to the podcaster because I think he has a really great/very successful podcast on his hands if he can fine tune a few things. Wish you the best and hope you find this feedback/rating constructive and useful.

    Love this pod, but what's with this new echo/reverb FX or dual voiceover? Has a weird robotic sound on most recent episode and is quite distracting...

    Why have a podcast like this with loud ads with music? Why don’t you read your own ads so they don’t jolt your listener awake, the opposite of what you claim to be here to do….

    I listen to: Nothing Much Happens to fall asleep. I thought I would try to switch it up with this one. OMG…..starts right off with a ROUSING commercial!!! What the….. who in heck finds this relaxing?? Then your narration began. Not soothing at all, in my humble opinion. You speak too fast and the topic I listened to was not anything I want to spend time on. I see zero effort put into the making of this podcast. If reading from a book is all I have to do to grab a sponsor…..I’ll give it go!

    Great overall, but the loud ads take away from the purpose
    I really like this podcast. It does exactly what it needs to do for me. It puts me to sleep right away, with the added benefit of learning something new from time to time. The narrator’s voice is really soothing too. This is a perfect example of a podcast that should only include ads that are narrated by the host though. The ads are very jarring in comparison to the host’s voice. While this is okay for one episode at a time, if you accidentally forget to turn off the option to stop listening after just one episode, the ads in the next episode will most likely wake you up.

    This podcast is so relaxing that it takes me minutes to fall sleep. I enjoy his soothing voice and the topics are interesting enough that it holds my attention just a bit and then I fall asleep. I highly recommend!

    Jarring loud advertising at the beginning seems counterproductive. But unbelievable how quick this can put you to sleep. His voice is actually boring. Remember all those times you were falling to sleep during a college lecture. Well now you can actually go for it! You can’t listen to back to back episodes though because of the very loud ads.

    Bless this man’s smooth molasses voice. The topics are interesting enough to catch your attention but boring enough that you’ll be out zzzz in a few minutes… but also interesting enough that you’ll want to listen the next night to see what you missed. But you will fall asleep again. Ah, rest.

    As a long time sufferer of night waking, this podcast and some sleeper headphones have been life changing. It’s my “go to” for falling asleep and going back to sleep on most nights. I start off pretty interested in the topic of choice (so many fun options) and BAM am asleep in 10 minutes or less. Brilliant.

    It pretty nice but I don’t like the hosts voice, it doesn’t go right with the storyline.✨🌙 and two many ads like just get to the story and Benjamin I think you should try and have some life in your voice because it sounds so unenthusiastic and I want a little like to my bedtime story. It sounds like your my teacher I want😌 Not👨‍🏫
