    Just the best
So much fun and info packed into one show. I have yet to come across an episode I wasn’t interested in. Great listening.

    Used to be better
This show was utterly fantastic when it began. Many amazing guests who are some of the biggest names in cryptozoology were on as guests. However I guess the “good” guests have been exhausted…starting in In 2021 there were a few crackpot guests that made me turn the show off with their nonsense. And it’s gone downhill sense with idiots spouting nonsense.

    Expert host, expert questions
You can tell a lot about the breadth of someone’s knowledge by the questions they ask and Paul is clearly a top-notch researcher. He knows his stuff and has such a comfortable delivery. Mysteries and Monsters is always thought-provoking and so informative! Well done!

    Growing every show!
Paul is an excellent host who knows the content. He asks thoughtful and probing questions and can back up his thoughts with personal stories. The show offers a great array of guests and topics and is well produced.

Love his personality when he actually talks
Love the guy on Ghost Story Guys when he actually talks, but he seems pretty bored quite often on Mysteries & Monsters. (I get this from the "Mmm" he gives as responses). Probably a good example of why podcasts shouldn't be much more than an hour long, but then every now and then he has guests I don't mind listening to longer. I just don't get much from him. But then he does put out hours of content, so I kind of understand.
  • jerkthegherkin
Wish the host would stop talking
If you like a show where the host spends far more time talking than the actual guest, then this is the show for you.
  • FranT04
    Informative
When it comes to cryptid sightings, etc... I like to look at it from a scientific frame of reference and this show is amazing when dealing with facts and history. Paul is incredibly kind to all his guests and well spoken on his own opinions and facts. He knows how to keep the show flowing well and I'm always looking forward to the next episode. I first heard him talking on GSG's and thought to pop over and give it a try, I am binge listening to the whole show and love it.

    I’m enjoying this
I found out about Paul’s podcast through his recent co-hosting duties with Brennan on The Ghost Stories Guys podcast. He’s been a delightful co-host so I had to check out his very own stuff, and I am thoroughly enjoying the episodes. He’s an empathetic and thoughtful host and has a wicked laugh. Thanks so much for creating entertaining episodes!

    Respectful Host and Excellent Guests
I barely learned about this podcast when Paul had been a guest on Ghost Story Guys. He seemed very likeable, so I decided to give Mysteries & Monsters a listen. I’m nearly caught up on all episodes! Paul is one of the most respectful hosts I have ever listened to and really gives people a chance to voice their opinions and expertise. The guests all seem to really enjoy coming on the show and there is so much I’ve learned already. The conversations just flow too, there aren’t any awkward pauses, it feels like a couple friends chatting. Really good job, please keep it up.

    My new favorite
Absolutely love this podcast — the interviewer asks interesting, educated questions and gives the interviewee time, respect, and space to respond fully and richly. The guests are varied and fascinating. And it’s interesting for me, in the US, to hear about all things paranormal from an informed and experienced British host. In every episode I learn about places and authors I wasn’t aware of — like Peter Underwood. I’d never heard his name before Mysteries & Monsters, and I’ve so enjoyed reading his work. Thank you and please keep up the outstanding work!
  • Edub$85
    Yay! Another quality podcast!
Heard of you on The Ghost Story Guys! Love it.

    The BEST
A lot of paranormal and “unknown exploration” programming is either seriously outdated, painfully biased or just laughable. I love the genuine research, explanation and interviewing style—this is by far my FAVORITE audio program. I have learned so many new things about topics I’ve been interested in since I was a kid. Thank you!!
  • Monkeyslap
    A keeper!

  • Adjia
