I enjoy this podcast very much. The team clearly like each other and are having fun. That makes it fun to listen to. Plus, they are very knowledgeable, and positive. They know the films and TV series. They know the books, comics and graphic novels. They reference plot points and characters. I have read only a few Star Wars books, but that doesn’t really matter. They give enough information that I can follow. Some of my favorite episodes are the author interviews. I’ve bought a few books based on those episodes. I encourage anyone who likes any aspect of Star Wars to listen.

I found this group at star wars celebration 2022. When I got home I started listening to their podcasts. Really nice and positive people. It was refreshing. They’ve introduced me to a lot of books I wasn’t aware of. I don’t always agree with their reviews/opinions of some books but I appreciate their opinions and positivity!

This is the only podcast that I look forward to after reading a Star Wars book. The round tables are well organized and entertaining and they always keep me educated about and excited for the next book!

Edit: Holy moly, I’m looking at my first review for TLF and, wow, I really only had that much to say? No. No. No. The Living Force and Youtini are amazing. They’ve genuinely changed my life. I’ve moved countries. I’ve had to make a new life. And all the way through, Wes, Corey, Eric, and Charles have been there for me. Giving me everything I lack in interactions with people in my day to day life. Scrolling through the other reviews for this show, I saw a one star review. One part of the message, “they talk a bit too positively.” And that is why I keep coming back to Youtini. They love Star Wars. They love all of Star Wars. And I love them for it. Also, I hope this doesn’t come off as jerky, but who writes a one star review with, “they talk a bit too positively” in it. C’mon man. One stop shop for the Star Wars EU

This is one of the most lively and awesome podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Super organized and chill. These guys really know what they’re talking about when it comes to all things Star Wars. I was able to start reading Star Wars novels because of their expertise, and now I can’t stop. I’d definitely recommend the show to anyone who needs a good Star Wars show to listen to.

This podcast is defiantly one of, if not the best Star Wars podcasts (heck, maybe just podcasts) ever. The hosts are genuine Star Wars fans and are dedicated to making the show a fun and enjoyable Star Wars experience. We were looking for a good Star Wars podcast to listen to in the car and after the first episode we were hooked. Not only do the hosts have great conversations during the episodes, but their values are exceptional and they are super welcoming. The youtini community is an amazing place, and TLF is no exception. Great podcast, really.

If you want to get yourself into SW book universe this is the place to start. The lads actually like Star Wars and want to talk about the positives of it unlike other podcasts that just seem to want to tell you why everything new coming out is bad. This show is great and a must listen for any fan of the Star Wars Expanded Universe (EU). Episodes range from news and book reviews to round table discussions and author interviews. The hosts are fun and entertaining and have all the answers to begin your journey into the EU.

This is the EXACT podcast missing from my fandom podcast experience. I just found this podcast this afternoon and and binged through four episodes. What a delight to listen to discussions about books I’m reading and enjoying and to feel part of a conversation... and it’s such a breath of fresh air heating this amount of love and positivity from male fans! I’d give this podcast ten stars if that were possible! Thank you!

If I could only listen to one Star Wars podcast, it would be this one. I listen to a few and enjoy them all, but the Living Force has become my favorite (I’m also a new fan of Inside the Force). The podcast emphasizes discussing Star Wars literature, both canon and Legends, while also discussing other SW topics. The hosts have diverse opinions and preferences, but are respectful and fun. I’ve been looking for a positive, Legends-friendly podcast and can now say, “Chewie, we’re home.” Keep it up guys, you’re the best.

This podcast, and everything Youtini is affiliated with, kicks so much bantha butt. After a two year crash course reading all of the new canon novels, I needed a way to track my progress, share my thoughts, and hear from other fans (my friends aren’t at my fandom level, but that’s okay). This team has quickly given me everything I needed and so much more. They love Star Wars, they love life, and they love encouragement and positivity. I have binged the full podcast series in a little over a week, and I can’t wait for more. Please do me a favor and become a part of The Living Force. Regret it, you will not.

I am always looking for good Star Wars books to read and people to discuss them with. Youtini’s podcast has been a fun and insightful option to supplement my lack of book club buddies to chat with. Between the podcast, the web site resources, and the Discord discussion, I’m finding my plenty of content to enjoy. Great stuff and down to earth chatter about the galaxy we love.

Finally a podcast that shares my love for Star Wars EU. I have looked a long time for people who thoughtfully and thoroughly review the new canon novels as they are released. I love the book reviews. The reviews are a great way to sum up and go over the each novel. I always gain some insight from the round table discussions.

I know there are only five episodes so far, but this is a fantastic show with a fantastic and positive group of hosts. You know what happens when one of the hosts doesn’t like a particular aspect of Star Wars? They say so and move on, instead of spending 30 minutes talking about how they would have done it, even though they’ve never directed or written a movie in their entire lives. If you enjoy Star Wars books you’ll love this show.

During that time there has been one community that has helped me get through this Dark Time, and that’s my great friends over at Youtini.
