KMBowhunterRevisionist historyI just found this podcast. I was highly skeptical based in the cast of characters Then, I listened to the Tyler Hamilton episode. To claim Hamilton is a “whistleblower” is remarkable. Hamilton finally came clean when everyone else did. BTW, Hamilton’s story is like great jazz music…the song changes every single time it is played.

Sephorafan💥Courtney Dauwalter💥Love💥everything about Courtney Dauwalter’s episode!!! The pure joy of running! And totally inspiring & inviting approach of her runs!!!Will definitely listen to this one again💗

jbird888850/50I really appreciate the guests who have legitimate experience with or have been directly affected by doping. Those other athletes who just give a five minute spiel/opinion about the issue but have no real or meaningful experience with or around it... just not the right podcast for them to be on! Thanks for the good work

alymgatorHypocritesThis podcast I find to be very hypocritical, how can we go from complaining about athletes wearing certain shoes that make them “too fast” in 2020 to having the host podcaster using her own platform to SUPPORT someone who thinks biological men should compete as female?

grumpyin207Good interviews. Terrible production values.I love the purpose and vision for Clean Sports Collective. But they sound like they’re producing the show from an empty garage. There are reasons to have decent production values and they should pick up their game!

raeruns4What a great interview with Lee!It was fascinating to hear about Lee’s incredible journey with running. I really appreciated the insights about clean sport in Australia. It was great to hear that new perspective on this podcast!
-
Kelsey_AEnlighteningThis podcast brings light to a topic that most are afraid to discuss. I’ve learned so much about clean sport and the injustice that currently exists in my favorite sport, running. Thank you for being open, honest, and helping your audience learn.

cheeto fanFrancie is AMAZINGI enjoyed this episode so much. To revisit the history of women’s running and of course the inspirational Francie was just outstanding. Thanks so much to all!

Jigity JoFoFrancie Larrieu Smith Great Episode!Loved the discussion of the roots of women’s competitive running in the US. So many great callouts: Doris Brown Heritage the pioneer; Augie Argabright Brilliant example of a great coach who was guided by love of the sport and care for the athletes. Francie is a national treasure. Fun to hear it in her own words.

gbauer001Continue to be impressedThis podcast has a super list of guests. Everyone connected to clean sport and doping issues of course. But, the content is so much broader and the guests always deliver refreshingly candid opinions, super insights, very intelligent commentary and just good lessons in humility, resilience, sportsmanship and everything we love in athletic competition.

canesgirl2006Great Interview w/ Gary Hall Jr.What I really appreciate about this podcast is how they show parallels in other sports. The interview with Gary Hall Jr was so enlightening. His honesty is so refreshing, and his acknowledgement of the failed role that drug companies could play in clean sport isn’t discussed enough.

tmkt2424Great interviewsI appreciate this podcast. The interviews are always well thought out and very informative. It shows another side of sport that is often hidden and really needs to come to light. I just listened to the Floyd Landis interview and it was so good! Thank you for what you do!

Crib in azBetsy Andrew rocksThis is a great listen. Good job with the interview. I love the inclusion of her kids at the end.

rungal17Great Podcast!!Thank you so much for this podcast. I’m a fan and a recreational runner. This has opened my eyes so much. I really appreciate the way that you share the truth with hope for a better future instead of making us feel jaded. I have been a fan of Kara since her Olympic days not only because of her amazing running talent, but also and maybe even more so because of her character. I am inspired by the way that she consistently runs with integrity! Thank you Kara for being an athlete that I can believe in!

Emily S from MNInteresting but over my headI like listening to this show but often they discuss events without giving any background information. I feel like I’m overhearing a conversation more than that I’m being told a story. But maybe the audience is intended to be hard core followers of track and running. I’m just a casual observer and will probably give up trying to follow this podcast.

CFyadaEducational and so so important to our world todayAs a collegiate athlete myself, I have found this podcast to be eye opening and it has inspired me to become passionate about clean-sport issues and the world of sports as a whole. I have learned so much about the world of clean sport, it’s prevalence, and action we can all take to improve the situation and hold athletes and others responsible. The hosts are thoroughly and perfectly honest, kind, forward thinking, detailed, and passionate about the issues, combining not only issues of doping, but further roles of inequality that are prevalent in sports. They provide a necessary and vital inside look at the issues with much personal experience from Kara Goucher, who is a perfect role model for young athletes and all around her. From there, I have grown equally passionate about the issues and the need to take action. I hope that through works like this, companies like Nike and otherwise begin to listen and take a strong anti doping stance, cleaning up their sponsorships and highlighting what sport is truly about- connecting with others and working together to find the limits of human performance- cleanly and fairly. Highly recommended for all, athletes, sports fans, or otherwise, so that we can all become better educated on the issues and understand just why it is so important in believing in our sports and ourselves- I will certainly be making sure I support companies and athletes who have signed the clean-sports pledge.

ncnsheyBing! Bing! Bing!Love to hear Bing! this Bing! podcast, but Bing! why can’t you silence Bing! your Bing! phones? It’s Bing! really hard to Bing! focus on the Bing! voices when Bing! somebody seems to Bing! not care enough about Bing! the podcast or listeners to Bing! to silence their phone for Bing! an hour. Y’all have Bing! been doing this enough know better.
-
SCrimmsHosts, please turn your phone off to record!I actually really like this podcast, except for one major issue - one of the hosts will not turn their phone off to record. This means that their phone will ding frequently as they receive notifications throughout the podcast. If you are wearing earbuds, it is so loud that it is actually painful. I really want to keep listening, but the lack of professionalism from the hosts will keep me from doing so.

The Zman28Turn off your Messenger bellLike the show but let’s PRO up and turn off your phone message notification

Bob1111137469Title can be a misnomerThis has recently turned into a “pro-women’s running movement “ podcast, as opposed to what it’s title would suggest. I understand the recent newsworthy issues that have been in the public, i.e. Mary Cain and others. Horrible events and deserved of your time. Maybe this is what you want to do, but it is becoming less and less about Clean sports...

Diane_the_tulpamuch neededa much needed podacast

MVader05New favorite!Great interviews. Love the hosts’ commitment to asking tough questions and really bringing out the athletes’ personalities.

dejongandderestlessA favorite! One of my very favorite podcasts! Such awesome guests, so insightful!

DC VanessaReally great podcastExcellent guests and conversations.

corygoldenrefGet over itKara Goucher is the most bitter person I have ever heard. Clean sport or anti Nike shoe podcast? Other companies have the ability To come out with shoes that are better and they have failed so why is that Shame on Nike? Scott fauble came on and praised Hoka, which is good on him. He stated Hoka is making great shoes that are on par and he’s not worried and then his teammate shifted gears and said that athletes will be making college decisions based on what shoes you are wearing? Wow, talk about taking it too far. Also only 2 Nike athletes went to the 2016 games so get over it Kara.
-
MeggrunsEye openingI appreciate this podcast for shining a light on clean sport and having guests who uphold the belief that running can still be great without succumbing to the doping pressures.
-
LisaMarie711So glad this podcast is here! The honesty and discussions here are so helpful and important. Thanks for your content.

Pam FisherQualityLove listening to this podcast. Every time I’ve come away educated and inspired. The guests have been fascinating to listen to and the interviewers do a great job. Plus no ads to get through at the beginning!

Dr Laura FredDr Laura FredThis podcast is a must for all runners who care about our sport. The hosts and guests discuss clean sport in an articulate and compelling way. The Steve Magness episode was incredible, bringing to light the cult-like atmosphere at NOP.
-
Mom of four monkeysRiveting!Just listened to the Steve Magness episode....it.was.riveting! I literally was glued to my seat, just broke my heart what he and Kara and others have gone thru and continue to have to deal with. This is such important work, vital to those of us who coach, especially high school athletes. Just so sad and unbelievable...thank you for your work, and bringing this information to light to the masses. ❤️

Lexy BurkeEveryone can benefit from Episode #26!For all of us who struggle to use our voices and trust ourselves (all of us at times?), this particular episode is powerful. Even if you don’t have a story like Kara’s or Steve’s it will remind you: we are not alone. It takes courage to listen to yourself, especially when your livelihood is at stake. Also, the biggest question is posed: Why don’t the most powerful companies do the right thing, when they can set the standards? Thought-provoking and healing. Thank you all!

runmamaWILove it- thought provoking conversationsI love these open and honest interviews! Kara you are amazing! Way to be a pioneer! Mary Cain, thank you for opening up further about your painful experience. Performance enhancing shoes have me wondering about Boston qualifiers as well??? Ryan Hall, I found your thinking troubling about utilizing such shoes to help train people to BQ...but not wanting those same shoes to toe the line of your own races. Why would you think it’s ok for this occasion, but not in your own races? Im just thinking “walk the walk”...it feels a bit like you’re talking out of both sides of your mouth. Regardless, you’re an amazing athlete. I’m just genuinely curious. So maybe that can be a follow up discussion with you some day! Great discussions have taken place and I’m sure more are to come!

Random32234568900Former Lance Armstrong AcolyteI really enjoy this podcast, and learn so much in each episode. The Frank Shorter interview (in two parts) was extraordinary. Thanks for featuring him, and for going beneath the surface of many articles on T&F and sport in general (wrt doping). It’s only bc of people of integrity like FS and Kara, and others, who are strong enough to speak out, that lovers of T&F feel a sense of hope and change for the future of this sport. And your podcast rightly celebrates these Integrity Soldiers! Thanks to all of you!
-
Fleuret theThank you! What a great and important new podcast. I love the theme that we need to protect clean athletes.
-
The GabinatorAwesome podcast!I love the interview style and guests they have on. I also love Kara Goucher and admire her for her courage. I’m learning so much and already have signed the pledge.
-
Vireo44PowerfulShould be required listening for every coach and athlete.
-
Wyatt D. HarrisWowThe Tyler Hamilton interview was amazing. As a clean, elite triathlete, it is eye opening to hear of how systemic doping can be in any sport. This podcast is informative, brave and incredibly important. Athletes at any level should take time to listen.
-
MNrunner88Excellent podcast! As a fan of the sport, I am so happy this is being discussed, and the interviews are fascinating.
