Since there aren’t a lot of great Carolina Panthers podcasts out there, this is the only one I listen to. Unfortunately as a Panthers fan, I feel like I’m not getting what I want since I want to know more about the team’s players, the coaching staff, and the expectations. No disrespect to Kristen, Will, and Darin, but I did wish as a listener they would talk more about topics such as can Brain Burns be an All-Pro or Matt Rhule’s ceiling in Carolina instead of talking about doughnuts and life updates. Again, I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer. I’m giving my honest thoughts and my hope is that the three read this review and put more of an emphasis on Panthers content that is actually important to the listener since podcast episodes are usually 30 minutes in length. Overall, I’ll still be listening, but my hope is that the content portion of the podcast improves as a whole.

When The Group Chat was retired, it created a massive void in the NFL podcast universe…then a new team assembled. Kristen seamlessly joined the team mid-pandemic and still brought the heat week in and week out over Zoom, becoming an immediate Panthers legend. Will stays ready with out of left field football statistics and the ability to fire off absolute garbage food takes. But just when I thought that the Happy 1/2 Hour podcast couldn’t elevate the game any further…they go out and bring in Darin Gantt, the wily veteran of Panthers journalists. But the true star of the podcast is producer Matt, without whom we would have to listen to more Will. Xoxo, The Mayor

Tried to listen to the Sam Darnold trade episode but but found myself getting sick listening to you complimenting yourselves on how awesome your social media team is. I wanna hear about the trade and what’s going on with the team....now how awesome you think your web and social team is. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I really do not want to have to say this but this podcast has really taken a huge step back in so many avenues from football to just overall personality. Max your still cool but the other two need to step their game up

This podcast used to be great and believe it or not they used to actually talk about football..... anyone remember those days? With the addition of Caroline Cann this began the end of football and more junk like..... here’s my top 5 favorite foods and which panthers players probably eat this too. Gosh I couldn’t stand her or the format at all. Then the “new guys” come in and haven’t even talked about football at all. That’s cool they hired a guy from LA but 30 minutes of them talking about him moving here is ridiculous I’m don’t with this trash..... anyway we could get a football podcast sometime? Maybe not three people talking about hanging out like it’s Freinds the tv show .

Well it looks like my favorite panthers podcast is coming to an end.. I will definitely miss Caroline’s enthusiasm and fun energy. However, my heart will ache for the loss of my sweet Max Henson. Ive been listening to him since before Press Coverage even had a name. It was the first podcast I got hooked on and introduced me into the world of podcasts. Max has consistently had some of the best and most reasonable takes out of anyone covering the Panthers. He also has plenty of personality and presents information in a way that is entertaining. Overall he will definitely be missed and not easily replaced. Hopefully he decides to at least spinoff into a Charlotte foodie podcast as his former food for thought segment was great. Miss you Max! (And Caroline)

A little bit very somewhat kinda professional podcast 😂Southern Mama made me cringe but CC, I did unfollow you after your engagement announcement (just kidding). And Matt, I’m gonna miss your witty intrusions and incredible points made when one could only wonder what point needed to be made. And Will, can’t wait to see who you’re gonna be having outbursts at next season. Also shout out to Matt, for producing all these great Panthers podcasts (even though y’all were the only ones good enough to get him involved).

I’m obsessed with the group chat. I just discovered it this week and I’ve binged all of them. I’m from North Carolina but live in Ohio now. I will be at the Indi game and I’ll be looking for you Caroline! I have one question, how do you guys see the quarterback situation playing out? What are your thoughts on keeping all three QBs or switching it up? Keep up the good work!

Just listened to episode 9. I loved listening to Press Coverage all last year but Caroline made this hard to get through. I liked her when she first came on in the off season but omg let someone talk or finish their sentence! So annoying to hear her try to dominate the conversation and make it all about her, and her commentary can be downright bad at times. Max has some insightful things to say and knows the team. Loved him and Bryan last year on Press Coverage. Take it down about 4 notches Caroline and lay off the third cup of coffee. Realllly hope this is better next week or it’s getting released. Bring back the Press Coverage quality. Go Panthers!

Great show guys! I’m proud of the team but the one thing I would like to see from this team is a more well rounded offense. I LOVE what CMC does BUT they have to share the workload. Why draft Scarlett if you’re not gonna use him? It’s only a matter of time before CMC gets hurt, he’s a RB it’s going to happen eventually. Norv has to make it a point to take him off of the field 10-15 plays a game.

This is an awesome laidback podcast that gives quality behind the scenes info on the Carolina Panthers that you won’t hear or read anywhere else... also gives a great laugh from time to time.

I am obsessed with this podcast. I will literally laugh out loud while listening to this podcast. So so good. Also please no southern accents, your normal voices are just fine, and this is coming from a Carolinian living up in Yankee territory.

Really enjoy listening to y’all talk Panthers football. It feels like friends just sitting around the living room and talking about random, hilarious things and quality takes on our Panthers. Keep Pounding!

It’s a great podcast all around. Tons of stuff that, as a fan, I’ve been dying to hear about coming from the organization. Only minor flaw is that it doesn’t feel long enough.
