Seba convinced my best friend and I to stop taking our antidepressants when we were 18 because she had a “magic cure for anxiety.” She made sexual advances on my best friend (Seba is in her 50s). when her son physically assaulted my friend, Seba accused her of gaslighting her and “trying to make her think negative things about her son.” She was exploited for 5 years and constantly told that she needed to level up to be her protégé. My best friend was made to give gifts to Seba, who calls herself the teacher and even the “queen”. my frienddid everything she was told to. She was under her spell. This is a warning.

I love the podcaster’s voice. She is calming and informative. I’m learning so much about using day to day magic and living a witchy lifestyle. Right now, I need this.

Seeing Pastor Adam’s IG saying he was going to be on Southern Fried Witch is what lead me here. Now I’m binging from Episode one while keeping up with the new releases. I can’t imagine why a witch would be opposed to this lovely man’s beautiful message. I do not do religion at all but I will listen to or watch anything with him and again, I have him thank for bringing g me here.

I love everything about this podcast. As a fellow magic woman, chicken keeper & gardener I find myself relating to almost every episode. I’m sure I listened to them all at least 3X. 😉 I keep peeking back every week to see if a new episode has been posted because I have yet to find a podcast so fitting as this one.

I was looking for something, anything to bring me closer to my magic as a southern witch. I found that and so much more listening to Seba talk about finding magic in the mundane, cherishing your genuine self, living in mindful reverence for all aspects of life (and death), transforming through love and pain, promoting self growth through healthy boundaries, anecdotes for magical practice, and the list goes on. Every episode leaves you with a lot to reflect on, and has personally helped me sort through some unkept closets in my own heart and mind. I can’t say enough. If you’re southern, listen. If you’re not southern, listen anyway because Seba is charming and delightful with a lot of insight to offer anyone. From chicken keeping, farming, magic and self worth I find myself shedding a few tears almost every episode. I could listen to Seba all day long. I love the way she delivers her stories and the topics she explores. She’s not afraid to cover the tough parts of life, but there’s also plenty of joy to be found in each episode. Overall, this show strikes the perfect balance between the grounded and the spiritual.

I love this podcast so much! She reminds me so much of me! I love how she is rebellious, does what she wants, owns a gun for protection, keeps her secrets in Magick which is rare now, believes in herself and her Magick, is honest and just... all the things. I resonate with so many of her stories. Amazing.

The Southern Fried Witch is everything I want out of a real deal podcast. She is so in depth , she tells a story that wraps an aspect of the craft in with it. As I’m creeping into my 40’s getting older is becoming part of my life and doing it with grace is what I’m hearing through those speakers!!!! Just a great accent, a great show and a real witch of a host!!!!

There are very few podcasts out there with such a personal touch, where you feel like you’ve stepped into a genuine story-telling time. Seba’s candor is balanced with kindness, her life lessons delivered with Southern hospitality and some strong red wine you’ll want to sip throughout.
