I love listening to this podcast while I work! As an employee of Samaritan’s Purse it is encouraging to me in my daily work to remember what is being done all around the world in Jesus’ name.

There is a power in this podcast to take you away from your daily concerns that often seem to weigh us down and, instead, turn our eyes and prayers to people who are truly “in the ditch”. Listen and be changed!

When I just need to see Jesus, that He still enters into darkness to shine His light, that He still enters hurt and pain with His generous love…when I need to be reminded of the reason I fell absolutely in love with Him and wanted to give nothing less than all of my life to share the gospel…when I need to lift my head, this is one of the places I go. “Taste and see that the LORD is good.” And sometimes listen and see.

Love hearing from the frontlines. The staff have such obedience and I love hearing their testimonies and prayer requests. I am challenged in each episode.

Kristy takes you quickly and efficiently “on the ground” into a world of important and critical work. The stories match the quality of 60 Minutes and other feature audio magazines. They are short enough so as a subscription to this podcast is not burdensome. Full disclosure: I am a Samaritan’s Purse employee with an administrative role so I do not see first hand the work in the field.

Hearing this makes it feel so real. All the hard work the workers do before they are able to help the local folks. It’s exciting to know the Samaritans Purse Shoebox connections are helping facilitate distribution of essentials! I pray for encouragement and strength for the workers and those they are helping. I had already forgotten about the people in the Bahamas, sadly. This was sent to me by my Dad and I’m so thankful to listen and be reminded to pray for not only the amazing volunteers in the Bahamas but also the local people who have suffered so much. They are not to be forgotten! This is a must listen!

This podcast gave me critical insight into disaster recovery. Those of us who have never helped during a disaster have no idea what it takes to provide assistance. God bless those who serve with Samaritans Purse. Thank you for sharing this documentary.

Really enjoyed hearing the specifics of what they actually do on one of these missions. Very happy to support this ministry knowing it’s getting Directly to the people who desperately need it, no middle man. I get so many requests for money like so many other people do, and I am more and more discriminating in selecting charities because so many are really scams. Samaritan’s Purse is the real deal. Ms Graham did a very nice job of interviewing in an almost documentary style. Great first podcast.

I’ve heard and seen SP’s involvement around the world. Kristie made it personal by going onsite and talking first hand with the angels that are taking Jesus to hurting people. I will definitely recommend others of my friends not just tune in but lend a hand and heart to lift up your arms as you go where many of us will never go. Thank you for your amazing courage and devotion to Jesus that touches His children where they need it most.
