Any player after Feb 9 2025 3pm, trade player are not eligible to rest of season For example, April 2, trade happen from caps and Buffalo for trade Dave Johnson to the Buffalo for draft picks. DJ can not play rest of season.

This guy either repeats the same stuff over and over again or he’s basically just reading off Caps article from actual beat writers. There is really no originality or creativity with Dan. Would love to hear someone with a real passion for the Washington Capitals host this podcast.

Dan just reads other people’s work and acts like they are his thoughts. He doesn’t seem to have any original opinions or ideas. When Caps drafted Ryan Leonard, Dan said he didn’t know much about him. Everybody knew he was going top ten, so how is that possible? I know, because he doesn’t research on his own — he just reads real reporters’ content online and then shares them with us. And sometimes he is vague on giving credit to those doing the real work.

A daily podcast of Washington Caps news. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I thoroughly enjoy the analysis even if it isn’t 100% what it could be. Glad they finally fixed the audible pop in the signal problem.

I like the show. I learn things about the team, complexities of trades, knock on effects, it’s similar to RMNB content with more depth. My only gripe is length. I think the show could be 15 minutes instead of 30.

I would highly recommend for any Caps fan. Dan is super knowledgeable about the team and clearly has a passion for it that can’t be faked. Do yourself a favor and listen to this show. Let’s go Caps!

Consistent, high energy with great information in 30 minutes from host Tyler Kuehl. The best Caps pod by far.

It is an okay podcast but needs some work. I agree with others that it is not okay if your on a podcast and people listen to you for the game reviews that you didn’t even watch it.

The only reason I listen to this podcast is because it’s the one dedicated podcast to the Caps. Otherwise Dan is horrible. His insight is terrible, he thinks Zach Fucale is the second coming when he doesn’t even have a 90% save percentage in Hershey. He doesn’t even say all the players names right, and what he feels the team should be doing is honestly some of the worst insight I’ve ever heard. I honestly wonder what this guy watches when he’s watching the games.

I agree with a previous review that Dan Holmi needing to do a little more homework. I realize he does this for no pay and has a real job and life outside this but learn the correct pronunciation of names and a little how the league works. He keeps saying Caps should send Samsonav to Hershey without realizing that he would most likely be claimed off waivers from another team if that happened. I have also heard him talk about HCPL being fired if team doesn’t do well this year. While possible it isn’t something even rally talked about by fans and media. It’s almost as if Dan is recycling the debate about whether to fire fire Todd Reirden back in 2020. He also referred to Carolina Hurricanes as being a team who is normally bad but surprisingly good. Hint Canes have been a very good team for about four years now. I realize the last two years of COVID delays and schedule changes has made it seem like we haven’t had sports for two year but in reality we have and Dan and others need to realize it’s not 2019 anymore. I wouldn’t be surprise to hear Dan say he expects TJ Oshie to go to Seattle and be their captain.

I loved Amy, even if we disagreed on John Carlson. I’m not a fan of Tyler, one day he didn’t watch the game because he didn’t want to pay for it, but spoke to the highlights? Sometimes I feel like I’m answering his questions while he is looking them up. Not sure why LOC keeps changing people while my Ravens guy stays consistent. For now it’s Caps this Morning for me

Sorry. You can’t be the “Capitals insider” and then admit you didn’t watch the game cause you didn’t want to spend $20 for NHL network??? That’s kinda your job if you are putting yourself out there to host this podcast!!

The energy on the podcast is indicative of the energy on the ice this weekend. The CAPS were skating and ready to play for Seed #3 and Amy gave us energized, insightful conversation. Thanks Amy! The recent podcasts are filled with energy, enthusiasm and love of the sport. I can always count on giving us a little known fact that feeds our wanting to hear/learn more. Thanks Amy!

Now that the initial audio struggles are sorted out, Amy has really started to get the hang of podcasting with just herself. This is already a good podcast and it's only going to get better. So glad that Locked On gave Amy the opportunity to take this over.

Not only is Amy more knowledgeable and easier to listen to. She also fixed issue with the pre-recorded ads blowing out my speakers. This podcast is on the rise!

Pretty much completely unlistenable for technical reasons. The show audio is super quiet, therefore you have to turn it way up..and then suddenly obnoxious ads randomly interrupted causing bloody ear drums!!! Please get a compressor!!!

Amy is a refreshing new host for the podcast! Her first episode shows she is both knowledgeable and congenial. Can’t wait for more!

Nikki always does a great job weather it’s for PuckerUp Sports or this Podcast. I love the insight she gives on the Caps along with the many other things she brings to this Podcast. Keep up the great work!

There’s lots of room for a good Caps pod but this one is just horrible. In the most recent episode she made the conclusion comment of ‘just make the power play better’. She never mentioned zone entires, personnel or Ovie and Carlson switching places. I’m not commenting on her hockey knowledge but it doesn’t sound like she can give in-depth analysis. Overall presentation, way too many ‘uhh’ & ‘like’. I don’t think she has much experience with podcasts or media in general

Despite hating the Capitals, Nicole does a great job with this podcast. She explains her thoughts very well on the team and it is very, very fun to listen to. PS: she’s absolutely beautiful

I love Locked On podcasts for their consistency and the fact that I can listen to this with my 4 year old and 7 year old in the room and not have to worry about unneccessary swearing. Ms. Giordano, I appreciate what you're doing, but I can't continue listening with these issues.

Could be a good podcast I’m sure, if it ever got recorded, stayed up to date, or followed the season like the rest of the “Locked On” podcasts do. Month into season and a couple episodes learning about the host and nothing capitals
